montage coat

Three times I tried to order this coat, my order would go through, only to get an email saying the coat is unavailable. Not impressed Aritiza !!

Ordered a small but I found it a tad snug around hips if I want to layer and therefore harder for the coat to have enough overlap and stay closed on the bottom. I’m hoping the medium won’t be too big in the shoulders.

Fit , fabric , colour and size was perfect! Would buy this coat in all colours

The wool is thick and beautiful. The design itself hugs in all the right places. I am a lean 5'9" and usually wear a size small but I purchased a medium in thos coat because the sleeves on the small were not long enough for me.

Love this coat - 100% wool and a super chic and flattering cut. I originally ordered a small but couldn't fit heavy sweaters under it (I usually wear size 6 or size small tops at Aritzia), so was able to exchange for a Medium which fits perfect. My only complaint is that one of the belt loopholes broke off on my first time wearing it. Shouldn't happen on a coat of this quality and price.

I’d love to love it. The cost design was stylish and elegant when I put it on. However, the wool was so rough to touch. I would expect a similar quality like their Connor coat. I returned it and will go for the Connor coat later.

This coat is lovely! Only thing is definitely on the smaller side. I wear small in the Constant and I got it in M in the montage. When I was reading the review everyone mentioned that this coat fits little bit on the big side soci got small at first and it was tiny bit on the tight side. So i would definitely size up :). I do love the waterfall neckline of this coat for dressier look!

I bought this style in black. The fit is amazing, I’m 5’5 120lbs and I took a size Small. Fits very tailored , I like that it’s belted since it is pretty long way below my knees atleast it will give me some kind of shape once I belt it. Says 100% wool, doesn’t feel like it. Definitely not a winter coat in -10C .. not sure if it will keep me that warm and I think it’s a bit overpriced . I think $250 would’ve been more reasonable . I gave it 3 starts for the fit as I do have a hard time finding nicely fitted coats that don’t look too oversized on me.

I’ve been looking for a long black coat that I can wear both casually and dressy and this is it! Also so warm!!

High quality fabric. The fit is a little bit loose on the waist but I love the look of it altogether elsewhere. I will have to get the buttons that clasp it together inside repositioned (for reference I am 5’2, 125 pounds and I ordered a small). The tie up adds shape which I love! Expensive but so worth it for the classy look!

I was very excited for this coat and it is beautiful to look at but was disappointed to find out that it was not 'soft'. My skin is very sensitive and it was just to itchy to keep. I ended up going in a different direction and getting the Slouch coat instead.SO soft, and perfect! If you don't mind the texture and are looking for a wrap coat, the Montage could work well for you.

Fabric looks very expensive, like a premium Max Mara coat. Nicely done. Fits very well in the waist. Definitely a keeper!

Overall love this coat. It fits true to size. The navy coat looks classic and elegant. The material could be softer but I was expecting it based on description so no complaints. I’m way shorter than the model but the coat still looks good in a long length for me. I would love to have sturdier belt loops since there are no outer buttons so the coat needs to be tied to be closed and it will get tugged on regularly.

I really like this coat, nicely tailored and well made; however the fabric was thinner than I expected.

Love it! Fits true to size. Very timeless/classy piece. The navy colour is beautiful. Only dock 1 star because in order for the coat to stay closed when you wrap it you must tie the belt pretty tight into a knot or bow.

Quality: Very well-made jacket. The lining, stitching and the attention to detail meets the price. There are no noticeable errors and the fabric feels sturdy, about 5mm thick at the thinnest and it's wool so even without a super thick layer, it should retain heat well. It's fully lined, and the lining extends down to and is well attached at the back bottom hem too, which some brands tend to skip. The pockets are lined with what feels like flannel rather than the lining chamois which is a great touch to keep your hands warm and keep the pockets seem durable.

Fit: I typically order up to a Large in coats to accommodate sweaters/layers but from reviews stuck to my true Medium, and it fit great. The arm/armpit area is especially difficult with bulky sweaters, and this didn't have any constriction.

Style: The length is pretty long, but I was looking for that. I am 5'2" and it hit lower mid-shin for me. If you're looking for a more common knee/1-2in below knee coat, this likely is not it. The jacket has a loop and the internal button strip to keep one side tucked under and the top layer secured with the belt. Some additional buttons may have been more useful if you're trying to bundle up very tight but I don't plan not using the belt so not an issue for me.

Warmth: if I wear it with a warm sweater underneath, it works fine throughout winter in my area, which goes down to maybe -5 to -10C at most. If you're in a place that is routinely that or colder, it may not be enough. The length really does help with warmth as well, especially on quick outings where my pants may not be as cold weather ready.

Things that I would've preferred:
- the belt loops not be made of of a thin cord, would have preferred a thicker, durable loop. It's not a thread which is good but short of wool loops, even a thicker cord, like for the front button, would have been better.
- an internal pocket+larger pockets. The two external pockets are great and large enough to fit my hands comfortably but it'd be difficult to fit keys, phone and my hands with gloves

This coat is perfect for a casual or dressy event. I would highly recommend it!

It didn't look like the picture and it didn't feel thick. I noticed trying on a bunch of jackets today they aren't the same material as last year. It's disappointing because you pay so much money for it.

I’ve been debating purchasing this coat for a couple weeks and finally went in store today to try it. This is a beautiful coat, that looks and feels very high quality. The material is thick wool bouclé, which I felt almost too warm in after only wearing for about 30 seconds (so definitely Canadian winter-appropriate). The fit was also better than expected. I normally wear a size M in jackets and this size was perfect for me - fitted, but with enough room to move my arms around comfortably (for reference, I’m 5’6 160 lb). The length was also fine (hit me mid-calf). My only gripe with this coat is that there is no back vent, so it doesn’t move around as gracefully in the back as I’d like. But it’s not a major deal. I was undecided between the navy and black, but ultimately decided to go for the navy as it’s a bit more unique (while still being classic). Very excited to wear this!

Beautiful wool coat. The wool is thicker than I thought- it's not the smooth soft but still nice wool. I wore it the other day- so many compliments. It was about 2 degrees and I was warm. I would not say it would be for -20 unless you were car to door- not for cold walks. Definitely for nice outings. I am 5'7 and the length was below my calves,
