These are mid-rise, straight-leg pleated pants with a relaxed fit, removable belt and darted back for shaping. They’re expertly tailored with gabardine fabric with a soft drape and fine texture. This fabric is sourced from an innovative Japanese mill.

Oversized a bit makes ordering difficult
I ordered my usual size. Could have gone down a full size. They are very long as well. Which doesn’t suit me. So needed hemming. Surprised the fit was not consistent. I have several pairs of effortless pants. Wanted this pant and the vest. Really cute look. Needed some tailoring which was not expected. I wear booties with pants like this. Never heels. Just depends how you want to wear them. I’d also wear with my chunky loafers.

Returns on sale items are not easy here. Which is another difficulty. .

perfect pant - buy your normal size
In most Aritzia pants, I have to size up. These are 100% true to my normal size elsewhere. Love the fit and material of these.

Lower waisted than the effortless pants, the fit is slightly large so it gives the perfect baggy look, super flattering and enough room in the butt as well.

Goodbye effortless! This has everything. The removable belt is such a great detail. Perfect length (5’9) and they can be dressed up or down. Please do NOT get rid of these

These pants are amazing, exactly what I was looking for! The material and vibe is just like the effortless pants which I love. I noticed with effortless pants the black looks like navy blue but these ones are 100% black. They’re a bit long for me (I’m 5’5) so I need to get them hemmed, but so cute!

Super cute and versatile!
These pants are a new staple in my closet. I can dress them up or down, but I love pairing these pants with a chunky sweater vest.

These pants are a bit larger (for reference, I'm a size 6). I ordered both a size 4 and size 6, with the size 4 fitting "perfectly" and the size 6 a bit looser around my thighs and waist. I ended up going with the 6 so I can tuck sweaters in. Without heels, the pants reach the ground.
