melina cropped pant

They are so uncomfortable I have only worn them twice since I purchased them last year. The waist cuts into my stomach but also gaps in the back. Cute but literally can only wear them for two or three hours without suffocating.

I wanted to love them, the internet loves them but they were a no for me. I have a more curvy figure and even sized up in these and they were still too tight and unflattering. Unfortunately sizing up to a 16 meant there was no way to get another size since that’s the biggest size they carry. The 16 fit more like a 12 to me. (The review doesn’t even allow me to select 16 as the size I ordered so that’s weird). Aritzia, please please add extended sizing to your pants selection.

Thought 6 would be best size but too much gapping on waist. Waist is 26 inches.

One of the favorite pants in my wardrobe, some versatile and can be styled in so many different ways. I'm considering to get a long version too.

I bought the Melinas and the Commands at the same time and the Commands are way nicer. The Melinas flattened my butt and had a pretty large waist gap at the back, whereas the same size of Commands lightly skimmed my body.

I read everyone’s reviews and took the style quiz and sized up on these so they wouldn’t be too tight. Im 5’4 and usually wear a 27 so I got these in a 6 and they fit great! They don’t flatten my butt and are super soft, definitely going to get more colors.

I’m paying $150 and just expect for the material to be better. I bought another pair of leather pants for $50 that the material just felt more durable and same comfort level. So couldn’t justify the price. Felt like I was just paying for brand at that point.

The was amazing - I'm only 5'2, but the cropped length lay perfectly on my ankle. Fits a bit snug around the waste, so keep that in mind for undergarments, but it fits really well.

I did the sizing recommendation and like 75% recommended me to get a 4, I'm usually a size 26/27 in jeans, I'm 5'2 and these fit perfectly in the leg, perfectly in the butt but wayyyy too small in the waist. I ordered these for a special occasion so now I have to return and reorder. Overall, I would go with what reviews are saying vs. the sizing recommendation. Otherwise these feel great and very flattering, just could literally not zip them up.

Love these pants. So easy to wear and comfortable. Love the stretch. I am a 25 in jeans so I ordered a 2 in these pants. They fit tightly - I guess it's a fit I would expect from a pair of jeans but not from a pair of trousers. I also tried size 4 and found these to be way more comfortable around the waist without looking much different from the size 2. I ultimately kept the size 4 figuring that with a 2-3 hour sit down meal my body will be grateful for the extra comfort. Haven't washed them yet. Some say they shrink a bit; others say they stretch out after a while with wear. I guess I'll have to wait and see...

For reference I am 5’2 decided to get the cropped version and and size 4 fits me perfectly ordered the shiitake color and it is a staple.

They’re fine just not a great fit for thicker curvier girls. Honestly a lot of their sizing is awful for thicker women. Probably wouldn’t purchase if i tried them on before but they never had my size in store because they seemingly only make flattering clothing for skinny people

I have never looked or felt so bougie yet understated at the same time. I got the scarab pants and paired it with the white mini bra, some heels, and a white chiffon tie-front top. These pants are ELEGANCE.

Also very breathable

I'm 5'3, 118 lbs and ordered the 2. Since my wilfred orders are usually a 2 i thought it would fit but they are a little bit tight. they make a little bit of folds in the crotch area. i hope they stretch after a few uses. the feel is super nice for vegan leather.

These pants are great! I will have to get them hemmed to be a little more cropped but that is no big deal! Also, was worried about the sizing, ordered the 0 (typically between a 0 and 00), there is a slight gap at the back for the waist for me but other than that they fit well and I would recommend!

I have a pear 🍐 shaped body so it didn’t work for me - sadly!

I am5.5, and 116lbs, high waist is 26.5inch, hip: 35.5in, most jeans size is 26 or 27. I first ordered size 4, and found it was too small. Then I ordered size 6, everywhere is perfect except the waist is a little bit loose, but acceptable. Hope this size information can help someone.

Beautiful pant throughout legs and hips, waist is much wider than other aritzia pants.

I am usually a true 6/27 in size but these were too big in the waist but too tight in the thighs. I think these look better as a looser fit so hoping a bigger size, size 8, works better in the thighs. Will probably need to take them in on the waist though. Material is so nice & they are so cute so hoping the bigger size works! I have more of an athletic build for reference!

I originally ordered a size 10 based on the provided size chart. I knew from other reviews that these ran small but I am between and 8 and 10 so thought going with the 10 would work. They were incredibly small but I loved the fabric and thought it was worth exchanging for the 12. I received the 12 today, a much better fit but there is a pretty significant gap in the back of the waist. I am 5'6" and was concerned the cropped version would be too short based on other reviewers, but they're actually a perfectly cropped length on me. (Not like capris as shown in the photo but hit just above the ankle). They fit well otherwise and are very cute, but there is an extremely noticeable difference in the quality of the 10 vs the 12. Not sure if they changed suppliers, fabrics, etc but the fabric is MUCH shinier and doesn't feel as buttery and nice as the original pair I ordered. Additionally there were some loose strings hanging that I had to snip. For this price I really expected a better quality. I think I will keep the 12 because they really are very cute but I am a bit disappointed overall. I was torn as to what rating to give these because I am keeping them and will enjoy wearing but I don't think they're great enough to be given 4 stars because there are definitely some production issues here.

If you want cropped make sure it check the inseam, I find them too cropped and show too much ankle. Great material, but no stretch. If you have a bigger butt I do not recommend these pants as they do not budge.

I may've not needed to size up after all (despite reviews) as I had some room and re-ordering a size 4 to see if that fits better and improves overall style. I had a gap on the back of the pants so hopefully that changes with smaller sizing. These pants look like they will stretch over time as well so if you feel like a 6 may be too big for you, go with a 4.
(Super soft and cute overall, just not sure if worth at the price point if it doesn't fit perfectly)

I'll start with the positive: these pants are super soft, are made well, and so far seem like they will wear for a long time without signs of peeling/cracking. The length is also really good - as someone who is 5ft2 I might still take them to be brought up by an inch but could totally get away with not doing that. Just depends on the vibe you're going for. Right now I roll them up if I need. On the other side of things, I do have wide hips and a small waist, so the pants fit on the hips but there's TONS of gapping on the waist. Will definitely have to get them altered. For reference I got my usual Size 4. Overall if you have the same body shape as me and don't mind having to get them altered, I definitely recommend!

I thought they wouldn't fit, but they fit so perfectly. I have found that I personally need to size down in leather clothing. I am usually a size 0, so I got 00 and it fits perfectly. The melina pants are gorgeous, they are chic and cute and sooo soft!! Literally in love with them.

Look great and feel great. Amazing look for the price! The crop is perfect if you are on the shorter side. I am 5’3”.

I was very indecisive on which size to get, so I measured my waist and hips and found that size 6 is exactly my measurements, despite me being a regular size 4. When I got the pants, the waist was definitely much larger than what was written on the size guide, I was slightly disappointed. But the hips fit perfectly, so if you have a tiny waist and slightly larger hips like me, you will need to alter the waist. Another thing, the cropped version looks slighly flared at the bottom. Amazing quality overall!

Seriously the best pants, if you are debating on getting them - DO IT!! So worth the money. I am normally a size 4, but sized up to a 6 and they fit perfect! I literally debated on these for months but finally caved and got them! I was going to order the full length ones but they are so long, if you're 5'5 or shorter I would def get the cropped version. I've worn them twice and have already gotten so many compliments on them!

I’m obsessed with these pants! They are so comfortable and they are great with crop tops, bodysuits, T-shirts, and sweaters - they are so versatile.

These pants are really cute and the leather is so soft. I was deciding whether to get a 4 or 6 (I'm a consistent 27 in Levi's) and opted to get the 6 because I felt the 4 would be way too small. The 6 fit great at the waist. But because I'm only 5'0 and have a rather straight body type, the pants looked kind of long and boxy on me because they went to the ankle and are more straight legged. They didn't look bad though, but I think I'm going to try the Babaton straight for a more fitted, tapered leg.

These are incredibly comfortable and fits so well! I am 5'3 and these hit me right at the ankle! I recommend sizing up if you would like a more comfortable fit! Love how chic they can make an outfit. Definitely can dress them up or down!

I'm quite short but I was afraid these would be too small after reading other reviews but i'm super glad I ordered them in my regular size. The waist fits perfectly and the length hits right at my ankles!

I got these in my usual size 2 and I am glad I did. While reviews say to size up, the material has a lot of give to it even though it may feel tight at first. The quality is unmatched, and I am so happy for the cropped version! I am only 5 feet tall so the regular length drowns me. Please make more colors in this length for shorter customers!!!
