I’m 5’5” 125lbs and I ordered a small and medium. Both fit but I decided the medium was more comfortable because it wasn’t so tight around the chest so I returned the small. No need for a bra. Can be dressed up with heels or worn casual with sandals. Do versatile. Love this dress.

It’s a very flattering dress! My only issue is that the slit is a little too high and the straps tend to stretch a little too much. I had to get it slightly altered but now it’s perfect!

I bought this dress in white/cream and it is completely sheer. When I tried it on in store, this wasn't as obvious (I could see underwear lines, but the sales associated assured me that with the correct colour underwear it would be fine) but as soon as I was in natural lightening to was completely see-through. It was see-through enough that multiple shades of beige underwear were visible through the dress and I could see all my birthmarks on my buttocks through the dress. For the amount you pay for this dress, this should not be the case. I am very disappointed.

Lovely material that drapes well. This dress can be worn casual or dressed up. I purchased the camel gold and absolutely love it and will purchase in other colours.

This dress is super comfy and flattering. Giving 4 stars only because the front/chest area dips down lower then I though so a “regular” bra shows slightly. Otherwise love the fit, and the flow of the skirt/slit area.

If you’re wondering if you should get it, the answer is yes. I’ve worn this dress to a wedding, to work, and just frolicking around the world on a regular day. The material is super soft and very breathable. Easily a staple in any wardrobe.

My only issue is the colour palette. Aritzia, it’s summer. Get it together lol.

I really like the fit and fabric of this dress. Fits true to size. I went in store to actually try it on to ensure it fit properly because sometimes the sizing tool online is extremely inaccurate. Last year’s version of the Market Dress and previous years had pockets which would be lovely for you to bring back and incorporate into future designs. Us ladies love dresses with pockets.

The dress fits so nicely and is super comfy! The fabric is soft and hangs on the body well. I wish it had pockets but the slit is such a nice touch

I got so many compliments on this dress. It’s comfortable, the cut is incredibly flattering and it held up well in the heat (I do wear chafing shorts though). Well worth the money.

This is my go to maxi dress for the summer. The dress is so comfortable and so flattering. I do suggest to size down as its very flowy at the bottom. Wish I got a extra small but I did purchase this dress in another color and sized down to extra small.

I bought this in navy blue without the slit and it’s my absolute favourite summer dress! So I opted to buy another one in black this year with the slit and it’s just as perfect! It does fit a little looser so you can get away with sizing down if you want it a little more fitted.

I am so disappointed because I truly loved this dress. I have the one in Anise brown as well. Both had the same issue: just hanging in my closet, not even worn out or washed yet, and someone the front bust part had small rips/pilling on it. I exchanged the Anise brown when I noticed it, and I am hoping it doesn't happen again. The black one I just noticed yesterday because I had not looked at it again since getting it delivered. I just reached out and I might exchange it, or might just return both if this is not just a one time thing. I wonder why the material is ripping like this, when the market jumpsuit that I got last year is still in perfect shape. Did Aritzia choose a cheaper material? Or did I just get two bad ones? Super disappointing for such an expensive dress.

So sad because it is so cute. But I only wore it for 5 hours before it started pilling where my purse strap was sitting. Also noticed the colour transferred onto said purse :( ended up returning this item

Soft, stretch material makes this dress super easy-going and comfortable. The cut and design make it very feminine and flattering.

I LOVE this dress — comfy and flattering. However I would stay away from the white, it’s incredibly sheer. Even with beige under garments, it leaves very little to the imagination. I opted for the beige instead.

This dress fits PERFECTLY! It is so comfortable, very flattering, and you could dress it up or down. Beautiful stretchy fabric, but still is smooth enough in the top to make it look nice and fitted. Honestly I want it in every colour. Great price point as well!

I bought this dress last year in black, the year before in blue and this year in coral red. So many compliments on it! Love the stretch and fit. Ordered a small.. usually I am a medium but it does have a lot of stretch!

I managed to score this dress in the sage green shade before it sold out and very happy I did. It’s flattering, especially with the slit in front. Prefer this version over the one with pockets - it looks less “heavy” on the figure. I normally wear a size M or L in Aritzia dresses and I grabbed this in a S for a streamlined fit. The dress is quite stretchy so recommend sizing down at least one size. Would love to see this in a burgundy, navy or deep forest green shade!

This dress is absolutely beautiful.
It’s good quality, stylish and comfortable. It’s light and flowing for summer and you can still dress it up in the spring and fall with tights and high boots when it’s a little chilly. It’s stretchy so I can fit into a medium or large. The medium is a true midi length and the large sits right to my ankles. FYI I am 5”4 and 150 pounds.
I purchased the green sage colour. It’s such a pretty colour but no longer is available. I purchased a medium.

Cute stretchy dress for the summer. Love the split! I'm 5'3 and typically size 6-8 and ordered a M and it fits perfect.

I do really like it and needed a midi dress to wear to a wedding, however the dress isn’t made for us shorter girls. The dresses really should have a tall / short option.

This dress is so comfortable and flattering. I ordered one size down because I find the regular market dress runs a little big so thought this might too. One size down fit perfectly. I found the slit a little too high, but I just stitched half an inch or so at the top of the slit closed and it is perfect

The fabric is so soft and the dress is so flattering on. The Sage colour is beautiful and can be dressed up or down.

I bought this dress in Bitter Sage, it is unbelievably comfortable and is not see-through at all.
My only complaint is that being 5’2, it is basically a full length dress on me, which I thought it would look odd and was preparing myself to get it hemmed, but after trying it on with and without heels it does not look bad at all. I do wish it came in a petite for us short gals though.

I have this dress in 6 colours and absolutely love how versatile it is. You can dress it up or dress it down with a wide rage of toppers. It's also really flattering for those of us with large busts.

I was initially disappointed that it ran out in green. But the black is so classic and versatile. I found it doesn’t have alot of stretch in the bust and the medium was a bit tight on my 36 b chest. But I usually lose weight in the summer so it should end up being fine! Bought one for my mother too for mothers day!

This is just what I was looking for. Simple yet pretty and easy to wear. I would normally choose a medium but sized up to a large so it wasn’t clinging at all.

I was hesitant about ordering this dress at first as I am 5”1’ and thought it would be too long in both the torso arena and lengthwise! But was pleasantly surprised with the fit of this dress. It fits perfectly. Would consider buying in more colours!

I bought the light birch even if all the comments said it was see through. With skin tone underwear it will be just fine. Also, I’m normally a size small but they no longer had my size and comments were also saying that going a size under is ok since it’s a stretchy material. XS fits great. Now I can’t wait for warmer days to wear this cute dress!

This dress is a summer staple, and incredibly comfortable and versatile. The slit is a bit high, if you’re on the petite side, but the look is still classy. Definitely a good buy.

Im a 34DDD and I can not wear a bra with the dress without looking trashy. Highly recommend this dress. Great to dress up or down

I bought its black dress and it was absolutely beautiful so I also got this mint green one too. BUT SINCE THE COLOUR WAS SO LIGHT, MY UNDERWEAR WAS SEEN THROUGH, so I had to return the dress . I love the design but not light colours. If you wanna purchase it I recommend u to get dark colours.

Love the color (red), love the fit. I am usually XS, although I am larger in the bust area, so always battle between XS and S. I went with XS and it fit so well! Very comfortable and I can easily wear with a regular bra. Slit is flattering, and red color is not see through (some comments in other reviews stated the lighter colours can be a bit translucent on the skirt area).
