ionic cape

I wear this all the time - it's really nice to pair with any basics and is cozy. (I bought it originally to add to some fairly boring maternity and post-partum basics about a year ago and still wear this all the time.)

Came quicker than I thought, great! Because of the pandemic, I haven't had a chance to wear it ☹️

I was excited for this cape to arrive but it was much shorter in length than I had envisioned. It also shed quite a bit. This wasn’t quite the look I was going for so I exchanged it for a different, longer item.

Saw it online and thought it was so cute so I purchased it for work, I put it on once and was covered in fluff and found it fit very awkwardly

I've had this cape for a few years and I have to say that of all my Aritzia purchases this one is still my all time favourite. It has held up very well, it's easy to wash it's comfortable and versatile. Such a classic looking item it's no wonder it's call iconic!

I wore my friends first and so I knew that the XXS was larger than what you would expect but it does say it is oversized in the description. Soft fabric, goes with everything, great in the summer, and can easily transition to fall/winter.

Would buy again.

Perfectly oversized cape in a beautiful grey colour. However, it sheds A LOT. You will need to hand wash this multiple times, use a clothing shaver for the larger fuzzies, and you may need to try the freezing technique to tame the shedding.

I always liked how the capes look on others so was excited when they went on sale. Arrival was quick, ordered online. As soon as I tried it on, my clothes underneath were COVERED in fluff. The quality is very poor and I do expect more when I am paying Aritzia prices. Disappointed.

Super comfortable, perfect for throwing on over a t-shirt and jeans on a cool summer evening. Is definitely an "oversized" fit.

I'm 5 ft tall and got the XXS. Was worried that I'd be swimming in it, but the oversized fit looks great. The fabric does pill a little but nothing that a pill shaver can't take care of.

I've had this for over 3 years, and it is easily my all-time most favourite Aritzia item and a wardrobe STAPLE for me. Perfect to layer over literally ANYTHING; mom jeans, shorts, dresses, skirts...classy, timeless, and very elegant looking. Covers you up if you are wearing something that is a little too revealing for your taste, but makes it look like an essential key item in your outfit that adds a sense of elegance. Highly recommend! Mine is still look pretty good after 3.5 years of wearing it constantly, so I'm thinking of replacing it sometime this Summer.

You can use it over a short dress or with a pair of jeans. It’s also thick and not good for summer.

So easy and comfortable to wear. Matches with everything. Can dress up or down. Could easily size down if someone was wanting a smaller fit.

I think this cape is a near necessity, and it’s great because it can be worn at pretty much any time of the year. Wear it out on a summer night, or on top of a turtleneck on a cold winter’s day! The flowy knit design also makes this sweater timeless and super versatile!

It's a cute cardigan, but with all the pilling that comes with it..not to mention the loose threads that come undone... it hurts the heart. Fixable but when i have to pay over $30 for a cardigan, i have higher expectations for it and it should exceed standards. This, however, did not. Fits really oversized. size down two sizes.

The fabric is real soft but the cotton is pulling out and gets on everything

I bought this in the grey because I have it in the brown and absolutely LOVE IT! I was sad when I opened the box and the sweater was not as long as my other one. It’s the same size but only reaches down to my lower back whereas the other one reaches all the way down to my knees.

It runs large and leaves lint, but is light and cool looking.

Great versatile sweater to use in all seasons. I have the same one in another colour. I knew to order smaller because of 1st one I had. Fits very roomy and ordered xsmall vs xl.

Too much fuzz comes off and sticks to my pants. Disappointed in this product.

Very cute sweater, great length & love how it flows. It’s a nice weight when it gets a little chilly on summer nights. Only con: it leaves fluff balls on your clothing!

I ordered this awhile back and wanted to love it - it looked great! Unfortunately, this item sheds like crazy - a lot of my clothes are black, so it just didn't make sense for me to keep it and deal with having to lint roll anything I wore it with.

Made to fit oversized. I love it and is super comfortable, lightweight and matches almost everything.
