I got these in my regular size in colour Matte Pearl. They do seem to fit a lot tighter (not by a lot) vs the other aritzia pants I own and the material is structured which would be good for the fall. I’ve noticed that the inner lining cuts short and doesn’t extend to the bottoms of the regular pant hem. I guess the only good thing is that they’re the perfect length for me. Im 5’4 and just end at the bottom of my ankles which is perfect and means I don’t have to think about tailoring them. Overall, not my favourite pair of pants I’ve worn.
The pant is marvellous! It’s soft and the right amount of flowy while fitting true to size. However, I thought by getting the short version would solve my height problem but it was still too long so much so I will need to have them tailored as heels or platform sneakers won’t solve the problem. Get the pant, but be weary of the height size short girls! I’m 5’1.5 for reference.
Love the fit, the cuff on the bottom adds so much character. I love the material, it doesn’t show all your flaws like some of the other pants at Aritzia. I wanted the perfect pant to wear with heels or sneakers and these nailed it!
I'm usually a size 4 in some of Aritzia's pants, but these pants were so big that someone could have literally fit in with me! I can't comment on the fit because of how large they were, but judging from what I tried on, I recommend sizing 2 sizes down than your usual size.
Not commenting on quality. I have normal torso and hourglass body shape with not wide hips. It looked too much fabric on me, which I didnt find that flattering. Instead effortless pant and bureau pant looked better, they are still not straight but also enough fabric to look flattering.
Why must the sizes be so inaccurate to the size chart
Ik the effortless pant is wilfried but the size 8 I usually buy (for 28" waist, 40" hip) matched babaton's size chart, yet in person it's 2 sizes too small? Also the waist will have an unflatrering gap to accomidate the hip size
- please use the real sizes of the pant and not the standard size chart!
I purchased these pants in size 4 and 6, the difference is SLIGHT in terms of fit at the waist. I need to size up to an 8 in these, and I usually wear a 6 in most other Aritzia pants. In terms of quality, the size 6 arrived damaged at the zipper, the stitching is undone and it's looks poorly made. On the size 4, the front is permanently "creased" twice down the front of the leg which is so upsetting considering as theres no fix for that. I'm 5'8" and they nearly touch the floor. The matte pearl color is beautiful, a white with a light stone undertone and they are double lined to the knee which is wonderful. I REALLY wanted these to work for me, but I can't justify the price for the quality I received. I will order the size 8 and hope they don't have defects and that they fit better.
Loves these pants. They add a little edge to the classic look. Run a little big vs other Aritzia pants, but not too much and still a good fit. So happy with this purchase!
