If comfort is what you want, the fabric is very itchy, especially the area at the end of the sleeves. If it's style, I love the style and the fit.

This is an investment piece for your wardrobe regardless of the type of wardrobe you own. It’s a classic piece and a coat that is classy for work or going out. If taken care of properly you’ll have this for years to come and it won’t go out of style. It’s a slim fit so you may have to size up depending on what you wear it with, anything bulky won’t work well with your regular size.

I am removing a star simply for the reason that although the price point for a wool coat is a tad high I would have appreciated if on site alterations were available as I had to have the sleeves hemmed a fair bit and that sent the price of the coat over $500

I tried on almost all the coats in store and this is the most beautiful one. It drapes beautifully and it’s flattering and feminine. Doesn’t overwhelm my small frame like a lot of the slouchy and oversized ones. Just really elegant and classy. The materials are lovely. I’m usually XS or S and the S fit better - xs was tight when moving my arms.

I wanted aa good quality coat that would last me a long time and i think i was right ordering the heirloom coat! Very classy, elegant and feminine. The material is also very nice quality. I would recommend the investment.

Very warm, fits really well, nice length

I do not understand what the original design sizing model dimensions were. The belt loops & tie belt were down at my high hip, rather than at my waist. The bodice was long, Sleeves 2-3 inches too long. Yet the waist was very slender fitting and with button holes hidden on flaps, it pulls & spreads flap, no leniency. If you are long, tall and very slender this coat is 👍. Otherwise problematic. Very much too tight in waist, Too long on bodice and too long on arm length.

I saw this coat on a mannequin across the store and rushed over, was blown away by the fit. Pictures don’t do this coat justice, it’s so much better in person. The material feels rich. It’s a heavy coat so I hope it’ll withstand the winter up north. I’m tall and these sleeves were long enough and the hem falls at a good place on my leg. My husband said “you look skinny”. Winner all around.

Soft, good quality fabric. I tried the coat in a size small because that’s what the website recommended and the top half fit perfectly but the bottom did not— I could not button it closed on the hips. Ordered the coat in a size medium. The bottom half fit but the top half was overwhelming on my frame. Disappointing because I really wanted to keep one but had to return both.
