im usually a 4 in aritzia pants (26/27 levis)

The pants fit very well, they won't get stuck in the crotch, the fabric is thick and has good verticality, and they are also very comfortable for sensitive skin. I will recommend this pair of wide-leg pants to my friends.

I have the founder pants in black and in size 4. It fits perfectly. Bought the same size but in grey and it’s about an inch smaller, like a size 2. I can fit into them but won’t be able to tuck shirts in.

quality is nice but length of pants are way too long

fit is fine but I ordered the short size since I am under 5’3 and they were extremely long. couldn’t even tell they were supposed to be short sized

I am 5’2 and 126lbs and ordered my usual Aritzia size 4. Perfect work pants!

Sizing is all wrong, in all colours. Fits much smaller compared to all my other Aritzia pants

Inconsistent sizing. I ordered a size 4 which is my usual size and these pants won't even zip up. Very poor customer service as well as you are not allowed to return or even exchange an item. I compared it to other size pants that I've ordered in the past from Aritizia and the sizing for this is way off. I must have received a wrongly labeled pair for the size.

Disappointed in Aritzia’s description of tall. They say these pants “should hit the floor with a heel” for 5’7 and above, but the pants have an inseam of 31. 31” is under no circumstances a tall inseam…. I am 5’9 and these pants are capri’s at best.

Just a little long because I ordered the regular size, but once it’s tailored it’ll be perfect. Obsessed with these pants and will be purchasing more.

Pleated pants can often add bulk, but not these, they are perfect. I have wider hips and thighs which makes dress pants difficult, but these pleats allow for easy movement without looking or feeling tight, and lay SO nicely. I am 5ft 4.5in and either have to get the short length or hem the regular length in order to wear with minimally heeled loafers. I don't like my pantlegs touching the ground. I wash inside out on delicate and lay flat to dry.

Beautiful pants with perfect fit! Wish the short length came in more colours as the pants are already expensive to begin with. Having a regular length hemmed would cost too much for people like me who don’t need as much fabric as those who are taller.

Bought after also trying on the Pleated, Agency, and Effortless pants. I love that these look more deliberately wide, and manage not to swallow up my 5'2 frame! They're true to size and the fit on the hips is similar to the Effortless and Pleated, but fall straight down from the butt down (if that makes sense). Inward pleats are a nice touch. I got them in the Regular length as they didn't stock Short in store: on me, they just about graze the ground when I wear 2inch heels with the toebox just peeking out from under the leg. Ended up getting them hemmed an inch to wear with sneakers. Fabric feels alright, it's obviously polyester but the texture makes it look better from afar. Not too thick, I wore these on a 30ºC day and wasn't feeling too stuffy.

Looks and feels like a great work pant. TTS. I bought the tall because it was on sale and fit perfect everywhere just need to hem, as I was expecting.

I love the wide leg cut and front pleats of these pants. Definitely a favourite for me over the Effortless as I find the Effortless look like they taper at the bottom when on.

I really wanted these to come in cream, but I am settling for white and ashen grey for now. They had the crepette fabric in a cream but they were way too see through. Unfortunately even though the essential material is pretty thick, you still can’t get away with wearing normal underwear.

Based on other reviews, it seems like the length is going to depend on how curvy or straight your body type is. I’m 5’3, 116lbs, slim (usually 25-26 in jeans), not curvy - I still need a 2.5 inch heel to make the short length work. I look like I’m a kid playing dress-up in the regular length, but the fit seems to work for people of the same height that have more curves.

I like to wear these as high as possible so sized up to a 4 so that they didn’t ride up in the inseam. My true size would be a 2. I’m a 2 in the Effortless crepette and a 4 in the Effortless linen.

I would love to see these in cream in the (re)ssential, and other colours in a soft suiting wool that didn’t need to be lined (I hate the half lined wool pants Aritzia makes - they’re uncomfortable and you can feel where the lining ends while you’re wearing them).

I have to rant and rave how amazing these pants look on. I wore with the contour shirt and it was sharp looking! I am obsessed and going to order more colors. Normally I am a 10 or 12 depending on the pant, sized down to a 10. I’m 160 lbs and 5’4. I got the regular length and it was perfect with an ankle boot.

The founder pants are the most comfortable pants ever ! I like the fact that it is a thicker materiel so you can wear it in fall as well as in winter time. 10/10 recommend.

I typically love Babaton but these are a miss. The tailoring is so unflattering. The pleats are very unflattering and flare open. These pants are too big for me and they still fit like this. Maybe these would look good on someone with no hips or butt?

I liked it because it was true to size and comfortable at the waste. The height was good too

Finally a pair of pants that are cut for wider hips and a smaller waist without getting the waist tailored!!! If ur in between sizes: size down. I’ve already bought every color available in my size - pleaseee restock and make these in more colors I’d buy every pair!

Loved the material but the design was too bulky for my frame.

I wanted to love these pants, but the bulk around the top was doing me no favours. Material is thick and heavy which makes them drape well, but I was looking for more of a spring/summer/fall pant. They are true to size and were the perfect length for my 5' 7" frame. Too bad they weren't the best cut for me.

I had a few compliments on these pants that I wore for the first time yesterday. The reason for the 3 starts is that the thick, heavy fabric creases a lot from sitting, crossing knees at work. Beware of this. This bothers me as it makes an elevated outfit look immediately less polished. Size8 is my usual size and it fit as expected. I am 5'7 and got the regular length and they hit the floor when wearing flats, which is what I wanted. The one other thing is the side pockets are on the seam which make them less easy to use and also split open if the pants are tight through the hip area. The pockets on the Effortless are not like this and don't have this problem.

Babaton pants are almost always super true to size and the material of these pants are amazing, I love them over the effortless pants as these are truly wide leg and not tapered. Usual size is medium and the 8 fit perfectly. However I’m short so even though I ordered the short version I still had to get it tailored

I got a size 16, though there was no option to put it in the review. I was hesitant to buy from Aritzia because I am definitely bigger than pretty much all the models shown. However, I’ve been searching for real trousers with pockets for ages, and a friend recommended Effortless. Got those, love them; got these, love them. Comfortable, stylish and with pockets!

As a pear shaped, thick thighed woman that typically needs to size up 2x then get the waist tailored in order for "wide leg" pants to fit me properly......these are a WINNER. No tailoring needed. I have accepted the Effortless Pant as a full length, straight leg pant, for reference lol (:

Just pay attention to the waist measurement and order accordingly. I have a 28" waist and that corresponds to an 8, not a 6 like elsewhere! This is true to size *for me at Aritzia*, but not compared to other retailers.

I ordered them earlier this fall in Heather Dark Grey and was initially disappointed in the length, so they were returned, unfortunately. So, thank you for listening to the length complaints!!

Pleasepleasepleaseeeee make the tall available in Heather Dark Grey (and every other color) (because I want them all)

Great fit, pants fall very nicely on the hips… but they are way too short (even with flats). For reference, 120 lbs, 5’4 and ordered a size 4. Will definitely re-order if they come out with a “tall” version, but these are going back.

I love the fit and material of these pants, however I am 5ft6in and would not wear these with heels (not into that floods look). Even with a sneaker I feel like they would look short.

Great fabric, drapes nice. Cream is not see through. However, I’m 5’4” but wear 3-4” heels for work. These were surprisingly short. I like my pants a little over my shoes but these were higher up. Returned although good quality
