fable linen 3" short

Love these shorts but they seem to run slightly small. Not small enough that they don’t fit but they do fit snug. Unless you want skin tight shirts I suggest going up a size

The fit looks great and is super flattering! I ordered a size 4 and I am 5’2” and 120 lbs. White is completely see through even with nude undies and I ended up returning.

They are very comfortable, can be dressy or casual. I have them in 3 different colours

I got these shorts in black and ecru and can't wait to wear them all summer long. The design is great so they look nicer than other linen shorts but the elastic back makes them super comfortable. I found that sizing was a little off, I got the black in a 4 and the ecru in a 2 and both fit almost the same (I'm 5'2, around 120lbs, 35" hips and 25" waist).

Purchased the black and white 3" shorts last week having already owned the natural ecru since last year. Both in a size 6. To my disappointment, the new shorts had a 2 inch discrepancy on the waist compared to the ones purchased last year! Will have to return. In addition, the inseam of the new shorts measures closer to 1.5 inches rather than 3". Overall a very disappointing experience.

I purchased these shorts in black and in white, size 2, 3 inch inseam. They are tts, and the fit is amazing. The small amount of elastic in the back ensures a snug fit on the waist. They are high rise and have just the right amount of flare at the legs. These are easily my favourite shorts for summer 2023.

LOVE! Super flattering fit/cut for curvy hips/thighs! 5'2", ~115lbs and sz2 fit me well. Love them and can't wait to wear this spring/summer!

I ordered the "Natural Ecru" and they are see-through! I could see my entire butt crack in them lol. super cute and true to size but not the vibe I was going for

Mine looked nothing like the picture. Purchased the Cairo pair when it was 50% off last November, and it just arrived. The pleats are asymmetrical - one pleat goes down the entire length of the shorts, and the other pleat goes down 2/3 of the way. I wonder if that's why this was on sale. If it was on sale because of a defect, they should have mentioned it in the item description. I really wanted to love these shorts because otherwise they fit great and are a beautiful color.

Great, comfortable with the waist elastic band at the back, not see-through, I like the color, the length, and the design.

They are linen so they definitely get wrinkled. But they are the perfect summer staple item. I pair them with crop tops, fitted tanks, and even sweatshirts. Goes great with converse or a heel.

They are cute but fit large! I wasn’t able to size down anymore.

Doesn’t fit well if you are even just a little curvy. Great quality but really disappointed on how the fit on the back turned out.

I got the white and really like them but they do wrinkle fast and you'll need nude seamless underwear with them. If you're looking for something formal these are not for you. My measurements are 35 - 25 - 35 , 5'5, 120 pounds and I got a size 2 they fit perfectly, and there's an elastic band in the back for stretch.

I don't recommend these shorts to anyone whose thighs touch at all. For context, I am 5'3 and 125 lbs with thighs that slightly touch at the top. The rubbing is super painful and left red marks for days. Wore them once and now unsure what to do.

Like it lots but i guess Aritzia now has some quality issues and it showed hers with the front stitch was uneven from the front of the shorts.

My size is 00 and it’s a perfect fit. The fabric is better than I expected. You can wash/dry on delicate settings for any wrinkles. I love the color in copper it’s a rustic burnt orange.

Love the green colour - very nice shorts can be dressed up or down. I’m a size 24/0 in everything and needed to size up too 2. I suggest you do the same if you have a muscular body type!

Quality... not so great. Less shapy as a "linen" short, but perhaps because of the other fabric blended in. I got a size 8 as a 28.5 inch waist and 39 inch hips. Was a bit loose. But after washing, there was a SLIGHT shrinkage that got it perfect.
I didnt want the shorts to be tight, more like a fitted loose.

Comfortable, breathable high-rise linen shorts! I followed the size chart and ordered a size 12 but the fit was too loose/baggy around my hips and crotch area where the fabric would bunch up when I'd sit, so I opted for a size 10, which was perfect for me.

I was a little disappointed with the quality because Aritzia's quality is always perfect. Otherwise they are true to size and look great! They are a little see through so you need to wear nude underwear.

This short is a dream! Fit so well, look fab. Pleaseeeeee make these in more colors!

Based on the size chart I got a 12 but I say stick to your usual dress size because they’re a bit big. Lovely fabric and amazing quality though. They’re comfortable and chic.

These have become my favourite shorts. I ordered the Marocon Spice and Light Birch. They can be dressed up with crisp shirts, blouses with tiered hems and ruffles, and even with basics such as tanks and tees. You won’t be disappointed. I followed the size chart and it was perfect.

Have these in the bright moss color and they are so cute with a white top for summertime! The linen fabric is light and comfy, perfect for sweaty east coast summers. Downside of linen is it gets wrinkly. I found them to be slightly small but I wouldn't necessarily size up, I always wear a 0 in Wilfred bottoms and 0 fit perfectly in the waist/hip. They are just a little tight in the rise (waist to crotch) but I think a 2 would have been too big.

Purchased these shorts in the Silver Sage Green in my normal size (4) and they fit perfectly. Love the linen fabric and how breathable it is for those very warm summer days. The length is great and such a flattering cut. Great staple to dress up or down while, keeping comfort in mind. Would 100% recommend!

I did not like the colour in person as I purchased online ...They also came very wrinkled but as soon as the stores open back up I will go and purchse another colour. The fit great and look amazing ...

I have these shorts in multiple colours. And buy a new colour every year. They are comfortable, flattering, and can be easily dressed up or down. I am typically a size 6/8/10- depending on material and fit, I purchased an 8 in these shorts. They fit true to size, could potentially size down to a 6 for a more fitted feel but I enjoy the comfort of the 8. Best summer staple!

Fits true to size. Comfortable and a nice length. Not too long but your butt doesn’t hang out!

Fits well with a stretch band in the back for wiggle room. Only complaint is how easy this fabric creases! Keep a steamer or iron handy with this textile.

I’m normally a 4 but purchased a 6 based on reviews. They’re a touch big but believe there will be a bit of shrinkage once they are washed since they are 30% linen, the concierge said around 3%. I think the 4 would have been too small (28 waist, 37 hip). The fabric is airy and cool, I wish it had a bit more body to it. They are well made however and the Cairo colour is a very pretty neutral bordering on cool brown. I hope they will hold up well. Still waiting for a warm day to wear these. Once washed and dried, I will consider whether to purchase a second pair.

I just bought a second pair of these because they were all I wore last summer! I have a 31-inch waist and Aritzia pants/skirts/shorts tend to run on the small side so I was debating between the 10 and 12 for a while. I picked up the 10 and they fit perfectly. The fabric is great quality and comfortable to wear on a hot day. Love pairing these with the Tiny Tanks too :)

Love these. The Moroccan spice colour is gorgeous. They are very well made. They fit true to size. They length is perfect on the legs. I am 5’2” and 118 lbs with and athletic build and size 4 fit perfectly. Love the elastic waistband at the back.

Very excited to wear over the summer. I got a size 6 since I’m normally a 26 in pants and it fit perfect.

I’m inbetween a 4 and 6, most my pants are a size 4. I decided to size up just incase and even the 6 was way to tight. Very sad cause the shorts are super cute but the sizing is way off..

I think these look better when they fit looser on the leg, so I ended up returning for another size. Aritzia did price match which I appreciated. They also have elastic in the back waist!

These are probably the best shorts I've ever purchased from Aritzia. I'm generally size 4 or 6 but I purchased a 6 since it was the only size left - due to the elastic band on the back they fit perfectly. The color is super versatile and the length is perfect. Hopefully Aritzia will bring them back in more colors!
