effortless pant

The quality of these are amazing. It’s definitely worth the splurge. I ordered the grey taupe in 2R and the black in 2S and they fit slightly different. The grey taupe fits PERFECTLY (not tight or loose). But the black fits a bit looser in the waist and through the legs. Not the look I was going for so I’d size down to a 0S. For reference, my measurements are 26” waist/ 37.5” hips and I’m usually a size 4 or 27 in most brands.

I love the pants but I feel like I could have potentially sized down in the waist . 25” and I bought the size 2. Regardless they’re not too loose.

Fabric is amazing! Very smooth. Fits well. I choose the regular size and I’m 5’3”.

Fit perfectly..

I like the material of this pant but I found that the sizing was inconsistent. I am historically a size 6 in 99% of things I buy from Aritzia but a 6 was slightly too tight and 8 is too big. I also found that there was a LOT of material in the front of the pants which can be good or bad. :) So overall I don't love the pants.

I was really hoping I would love how the effortless pants fit since they go with everything. Unfortunately, sizing is off. It’s too tight around my waist/hips and I can’t go 15 minutes without having to fix them to make them comfortable to wear. I would recommend sizing up

I've had these pants since march and maybe worn them no more than 5 times. I always follow care instructions and now my effortless pants have started to rip and get a hole at the seam on the leg. For $150 pants, you should expect them to last. If I wanted cheap pants that I knew would not last, I would simply go to H&M or Zara. For paying such a hefty premium and hardly wearing them, this should have not happened.
I also had to return these after originally getting a 2 and swap for a 0 since effortless pants are insanely size inconsistent.

These pants are amazing! Material is high quality and they look great. But they seem to fit differently depending on the colour. I tried on a pair in store so I knew which size to order, and ended up sizing down because my regular size was too big. But when I received them they fit so much smaller- I couldn't even do them up!

You must buy these for your capsule wardrobe. Great material and fit, super versatile. The only thing I will say is I ordered the short version and I still needed to hem about 1.5 inches to wear it with sneakers.

These pants are so comfortable, sleek, professional, and make your booty look good! I get so many compliments wearing these, people always want to know where they’re from. You can’t miss with these, I have them in birch but might get them in a few more colors. I love them.

Fits really well around the waist and hips and they are very flattering. However, they are way too long. I am 5'5 and they were so long on me.

I bought these in store, so I’m not entirely sure what length they are - I believe they’re long, since they hit just below my ankles at 5’8. I’m 111 lbs, 24” waist, bought 00 for a perfect fit. They’re beautiful pants, perfect to dress up or down! I plan to get more colors.

I love these pants. I usually am a size 8 and choose to size up to a 10 so they would fit loose like the style suggests. I have a medium booty and the 8's definitely hugged all my curves which was cute but just not the style I was going for. I just need to take the 10's in at the waist but its totally worth it. The fabric is beautiful, its a great pant.

I absolutely love these — I’m 5’5” and weigh about 130lbs, and I always have trouble finding pants that fit my bottom and my waist. I have about a 27” waist and decided to go with the size four to be safe. The material is super nice and breathable!! You can dress this up or down. I love these! Will be getting in more colors.

I'm 5'6 and the regular is just long enough for me. I probably couldn't wear a tall heel with them.

These pants were so cute on (despite having to go up four sizes, I'm usually an 8-10 in other stores and had to get a 14 here....) but within half an hour of wearing them, the seam by the zipper starting unraveling. A few days later, the hem on the left leg completely fell out. For the price, I would expect them to last at least another week before completely falling apart.....lol. Definitely exchanging to see if I had a faulty pair, and if it happens again I'll just return altogether. So so disappointed

I’m 5’3 and ordered the short version. They were still 4 inches too long. The material is a great quality but very heavy and too hot for spring/summer. The linen would probably be a better choice. Just overall not in love with them for the high price.

Smaller than my last season effortless and too short for me. Fabric was nice, as expected. I returned.

I really wanted to love these after seeing them raved about, but they just do not work for my body. For reference, I am 5'1, 113 lbs, am 37 and have had 2 babies, so my body has changed and I try not to accentuate my mom-belly too much (not that there is much!), but these pants made me look... not great. Just bleh. The 6 felt too tight (my normal size) and the 8 was too loose.
I really wish they would come out with the green colour in the Alana pant, which I ended up buying in black.

Love these pants - truly effortless. They do stretch slightly over time but if you don’t want the pleats to bunch weirdly don’t size down.

I went into the store because I wanted to try on the effortless pants. Went to grab my usual 12, I couldn’t even pull it past my thighs. Now, I’m a curvy girl so I asked the girl if she had a 14 so she went and grabbed me one which went on a little easier but wouldn’t zip up completely. Finally, I told her that I’d just buy a 16 online because of how the 14 almost fit then I was sure that the 16 would fit. She told me she had one for me to try on just in case anyway, so I did and it fit but wasn’t in the colour I wanted. So, I ordered the 16 online, in the colour I wanted and was super excited. They came in today and not only did they not fit, but they barely made it to my hips. I just don’t understand how the sizing can be thaaaaaat off.

I wanted to love these so much but I simply couldn’t. I ordered the light birch and the material was flimsy. You can visibly see the outline of the pockets through the fabric. Not worth the price.

I was so excited about the pants I purchased on special order, only to have them be see-through. The light birch colour is see-through and cannot be worn, I will definitely have to return.

Super comfortable, the review are all true and the hype is real. Unfortunately not functional. The seams on both legs started coming undone by the second wear. Majorly disappointing for such a high cost item! I tripped over one of them that had come undone before I realized it and it tore, so I can’t return them or even resell them now. Mine are also a little big and I shouldn’t have worn them out of the house without exchanging for a size smaller first. Luckily I can sew so I’ll fix them, I just shouldn’t have to do this the second time im wearing them. You’re better off getting the dupes from Zara etc.

So comfy! Loose fit but not too loose

So, these pants are most certainly NOT overhyped. They are the most beautiful fitting pants I’ve ever worn. Period.

This is my 3rd effortless pants and I love it. The only thing is the length. All 3 are slightly different.

The Japanese crepe is sooo lovely, flowy, and cooling. Living in a warmer climate I purposely get lighter fabrics so I can wear them year round!! They fit a bit small around the waist so I sized up. Truly the best trousers— can wear them for office AND for casual days. So easy to style! Trying really hard not to get a 3rd one, but I might just have to.

I had to buy multiple sizes before finding the perfect fit — I heard mixed reviews of them fitting smaller or bigger than true to size. If you could try in store I would recommend that to save the hassle of online returns!

I love the effortless pants but I’ve found that the sizing is very inconsistent. I have 3 pairs in the same size/length , the black I bought a while back and recently the white and beige but the sizing is so off. The black are literally like PJs on me while the white are so tight. Are they making size changes or what because I really don’t understand what’s happening but it’s such a turn off now ….

The pants are a nice basic and drape nicely, but I agree with other reviewers they are overpriced and overhyped for polyester. They do seem to be well made.

I bought them in June 2021 and I heard they changed the fabric. Before, we needed to size down, now I think you need to get your actual size.

I got the tall version of these which are finally long enough for me!! Obsessed with them, they fit so well.

These are made from 100% polyester, which incase you didn’t already know, is THE cheapest fabric in the world, as well as one of the most toxic and harmful to both us and the environment. I don’t know how on earth they get away with charging $148 (+ tax) for these, especially when the sizing is fully inaccurate. My waist measures at 24”, so I went ahead and ordered a size 0 and they were way too loose. Also wasn’t happy with the length of the ones I got (regular, I am 5’9), as it looked very awkward and short. I will gladly be returning these.

Aritzia used to be my go to for quality pieces that will last. These pants were a huge disappointment. I cannot speak for the other colours but the light birch is completely see through with my darker skin and the pants are NOT lined even though they cost around $150. Save your money, not worth the hype and quality is seriously lacking. Returned.

Had these in my cart for so long and finally ordered them and I love them so much! They’re perfect dressed up or down and the material is so comfy & flowy. I’m 26At first I got a size 2 based on what was recommended from my measurements but I ended up returning for a 0 which fits perfectly.

LOVE these :') They can easily be worn up or down. Sits perfectly at the waist. I'm 5'10 and got the tall, they sit an inch or two off the floor and look amazing.

Usually I wear a 00 but I have a heavier hips post partum and I just ordered a 2 to be safe. It was perfect !
