The fabric of this dress is pleasantly thick. The ruching helps hide any bumps at the waist. I wear a S or M in Aritzia depending on the cut. The small is snug but has stretch. For reference I’m 36-28-36.

I'm 5'2 and this dress was hanging probably an inch or 2 above my ankles, with the thick material it felt like I was wearing a weighted blanket. The short version Skyline fits a lot better for my height.

Yes I will have to have it shortened, as length is for tall women. Well worth cost and a timeless dress!

The material is too thick!! You can't possibly wear this in the summer or you are going to swim in it! It's easy to get scratched. The design is cute, but too thick and then you would look clumsy in it. Plus you have to be super fit to show no body fat in this clumsy dress. I do love aritzia, but this one is a no. My usual size is a S or sometimes a M (Aritzia size) depend on the style, but I can barely fit into a M for this one. Also the neck area is cute from afar, but doesn't really stick around your neck. 2 stars for the cute model pics.

Elegant, form fitting. Good for the office, and event or a night out.
