These are high-rise trousers with double knife pleats, slash hand pockets and a tapered carrot leg. They’re made from (Re)ssential — softly structured stretch fabric that holds its form while you move easy. It’s sourced from a premier Portuguese mill and made with recycled materials and LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose — responsibly sourced wood-based fibres produced through a process that reduces impact on forests, biodiversity and water supply.

Waist runs small
I am 5 feet and weigh about 110 pounds. I chose a size 2 for room incase i eat a big meal or if i want to tuck in a sweater. The waist is actually perfect if you fluctuate weight like me 100 pounds to 110 pounds because you can use a belt to tighten it a bit or tuck in a sweater. I can expand my belly fully all the way out while sitting down and it looks relaxed and not too tight. HOWEVER i had to return because if you have a small cute butt and narrow hips like me it will look so baggy on you, it looks like your almost wearing baggy street pants from the back, it was not flattering and very rectangular. The only chic part is the waist line with a belt but everything else below looks like your wearing long street wear pants. The material though is so thick and rich and it made me second guess returning it. I wish they made the dashwood in this material in the cropped version!

LOVE THESE FOR THE SHORT GIRLS
Happy I found a pant that I didn’t have to get tailored! I’m 5’2 and these are the perfect length! Highly recommend these if you’re short!

Way better than the effortless for petites
The hold suiting drapes so nicely and complements petite frames (5'2 and below) so well. The fabric is thicker and makes the pants feel more snug around the waist as opposed to the crepe material. I typically wear 00 but I got a 0 and it fit just right. I really hope Aritzia adds more colours soon (hoping for the darker greys + browns).
