big easy 5" short

Was nervous about the sizing, but I ordered my usual size and they fit great! The length is super cute and I feel like they are gonna be a go-to for me especially for summer!

I bought these as an easy to wear short for the summer. Can be paired with a tshirt for an effortless look. love them.

These fit me true to size. If you have a bum you might have to go up a size. They really are water resistant. I only docked a star because the pockets are too shallow to put anything in them.

The quality of these shorts is great - quick dry, no wrinkles, etc. They are cut pretty straight and look a bit odd with my hips/bum - I would either get a shorter pair or return these ones but I got them on final sale

These fit strangely for me. I have a 26" waist and 37" hip (mostly butt), as well as large 22" thighs. The XS was perfect in the waist and rise, but too fitted in the butt and leg openings (the shorts FIT, but they didn't have the easy/carefree look). The S fit well in the butt and thighs, but was too loose in the waist, and there was too much material bunched up in the front rise area. Maybe the S would have worked if I were taller? I'm 5'2 with a short torso.

The material is lightweight and perfect for summer, so if the fit works for your body, I do recommend them. The 5" length is also just perfect!

Comfy and airy, told all of my friends to buy them, got so many compliments!

Recommend sizing down unless you are going for the oversized gym short vibe.

Love the easy style of these shorts. stretch out a bit with wear but that's okay as they're a loose-fitting comfy short.

I bought these to wear to the beach and as an easy thing to throw on during the weekend. Great fabric, dried fast when I got them a little wet at the beach.

I tried on the small size in store, but it was slightly too tight. I ordered the medium and if fits perfectly. Really comfy and versatile.

Despite trying these on and purchasing these in store I am unhappy with the fit. The small was too small and the medium was too big but I thought they would be a fun short for summer so I went with the medium and I shouldn’t have bought them at all. Nothing special here. The fit is strange and I would not recommend to fellow aritzia shoppers.

Material is great you can even swim in this short dries fast. Comfy

Bad fabric… no stretch … jaw string is inside

I've been looking for a short like these for years. It's relaxed but high-quality, literally perfect for any summer activity. I got it in the 5" brushed green and I was so impressed I got the grey lilac in 3', both fit like a literal glove (I'm 5'10 and 135 pounds). Please bring these back next year in new colours.

I got these feeling a little hesitant about the sizing due to the reviews but I went with my usual size, an XS and these fit perfectly. Not too tight or too loose, but these do have a drawstring at the waist if you wanted a more snug fit. For reference I am 5'3, 120 pounds. These could be really good hiking shorts if they added more pockets, will be purchasing in more colours!

I prefer the fit of the 3" short by far. This one is tigher around the butt and doesn't flare out as nicely for someone who has thicker thighs.

Medium was a bit fitted so I went with large which gave me the room to wear this pair for workouts, long walks, and running errands. They're very comfy and flattering! Also the colour is so stunning. I really 10/10 recommend this pair! I was worried that they'd be too long compared to the 3" but the length is great!

Shorts are super comfy and dry quick! There is no stretch in the material but the fit was perfect on me. Perfect summer board shorts

I bought these in my regular size (small) and they were extremely tight on my thighs. The material has no stretch (think mens swim shorts), so I decided to size up. A medium was waaaay too loose to the point I have to flip the waistband & tie the string to the tightest possible. Love the look but don’t like the fit.

Love these shorts, fit and material are amazing, able to wear it high rise and it’s not tight at all so it’s flattering but not too baggy like the sweat shorts. Every day short that is now a staple in my wardrobe!

I was a bit hesitant to purchase based on the mixed reviews. Decided to try them anyway. I love them! They are a cool breathable sweat wicking nylon (think rain jacket) material. Perfect for summer. They have a tie on the inside to tighten the shorts a little which is a nice touch and they have pockets. I sized up to a medium for a slightly looser fit and I got the fluent taupe color. I'm definitely looking at purchasing another.

I bought the small (same size I bought in a previous aritzia nylon model) and it was too large and unflattering. I ordered an xs and it did the trick. I would recommend sizing down.

Love them! Usually wear small but had to switch to XS and now they are perfect!

I bought this in hopes to have a casual short for my upcoming vacation. The elastic didn't fit over my hips. I'm usually a size 8 and ordered a L. Returned sadly

These fit really well, and are great for working out. Even though these are made of nylon, they do not make any noise when you move around. Go to shorts for my workouts!!
