Why is there a pleat?
It’s beautiful and elegant…except for the poorly placed pleat at the stomach that doesn’t sit right. It should be ruched to create the draping effect it’s going for. The pleat placement is just dumb.

Try it on first
I ended up purchasing this on impulse, and it was the best impulse purchase I’ve made in a while. I originally tried it on in my normal size 4 in the colour blue and after having a few children the fabric didn’t fall flattering on my stomach. I ended up going with a size 0 in black and it fit me perfect *chefs kiss* very flattering and received compliments from the fitting room, to the movies with flats, to dinner and drinks with heels. Love this dress but definitely try it on first if you can. For reference I’m 5’7, 125lbs, 34b, 26 waist, 30 hips.

So Flattering
I carry most of my fat in my lower half and this dress is just SO flattering! I haven’t felt this sexy in a dress in years. I think it can be dressed down with some flip flops and an updo for a vacation dinner, or dressed up with heels. Can’t wait to wear it out!
I typically wear a size 4, aritzia recommended I wear a size 6 in this, but a size 2 fit perfectly.
For reference my measurements are Bust 34 inches, waist 27 inches, hips 39 inches.

I recommend you try it on in store to see what size works for you but highly highly recommend this dress!

Meh
I was really excited to try this dress after reading reviews, however was disappointed when I finally tried it. The size was way too small (I’m usually a size M with Aritzia and size 8 was way too small to zip up). Even though I couldn’t zip it up fully, I could see the general shape on me and I didn’t find it super flattering - it kind of just hung on me. The material is divine though, and I love the navy colour.

Fits like a glove! Absolute perfection!
Such a beautiful dress! It fits like a glove and is made of very good material (double lining). The blue colour looks so elegant. I just wished there wasn’t a seam above the bust area (I think it won’t be visible in alot of different lights). I love it so much and can’t wait to wear it out 😍.

Perfect Cocktail Dress
The perfect dress for any occasion! I will be wearing this dress to a friends wedding in November! I purchased the midnight navy and the color is stunning. The fabric feels quality made and it even comes lined on the inside. I’m so impressed with this dress. I would purchase more if they came in more colors !
