On a mission

To stay warm. Meticulously tailored to deliver warmth to -10°C / 14°F, this is a fully lined double-breasted trench coat with a relaxed fit. It’s crafted with Wool Cashmere Melton — exceptionally soft virgin wool and cashmere melton with a smooth, felt-like feel. This fabric is sourced from Mapel, one of Italy’s premier mills.

Essential capsule piece
Roomy without being too oversized. Love the belt for creating shape. The brown is perfect…not so warm that you can’t wear cool colours with it. Living in Canada I can wear this jacket comfortably until around -10 C. I am usually a medium or large in aritzia jackets and the medium is perfect. I can still fit a bulky knit underneath.

Cute but fit is off
Lovely colour but the fit is just a bit off. Ok usually a M in all the coats I have from Aritzia and they fit nicely but this one was good at the top but very snug around the hips. If I’d size up the top part would be way too big.

A great staple
Love this jacket! The slightly oversized fit and structure of the jacket give it a timeless look. It’s also nice that that the fabric is so thick, making it very practical for a winter in Toronto. The Espresso Bark colour is also very neutral, but is a nice deviation from caramel and black.

Rooomy. nicely tailored. Good cut.
I usually wear XS and even XXS is big on me. But looks good. The only thing is fabric has 20% polyester. then.. with the price. it is worth it.

Incredible Coat
Incredible jacket, and petite friendly too! I wanted a black trench and also a black wool coat, and this coat worked for both needs. it is fully lined and the construction is beautiful, I love the little details such as the button on the belt for the option of keeping it attached to the coat.

The fabric is very smooth, not very textured, but it does easily attract animal fur and lint. Keep a lint roller around if you have pets.

For reference, I am 5 ft tall, 118 lbs with wide shoulders, an XS in the Cocoon Coat and an XXS in the Slouch Coat and the XXS fit perfectly.

I am in love
I got the espresso bark and i cant say enough— the colour is so rich, the buckles on the sleeve elevate the entire outfit and it goes with everything. Its truly stunning. Don’t size up, it’s already slightly oversized.
