aperitif linen dress

I bought this for the beautiful summer weather. I was a bit hesitant to order as the posts often said it was see through. Wear proper undergarments and you are fine.

Ordered the dress in white in an XL; should've sized down to a L as the dress was quite roomy. Also when ordering white: get a slip for underneath, quite see through. Had to return the dress as it was too big and too see-through - would've been better in a smaller size & darker colour. However, the material was very nice for the summer heat.

I’ve owned many many aritzia items and many linen items and this dress is utterly disappointing. I bought in two colours because it was so adorable and one wear of the first one and it looks like a large baggy stretched out potato sack. The boyfriend shirt linen dresses are far superior material. Terrible value and I would not recommend to anyone and now I’m stuck with two! This is an expensive casual dress and should wear far superior to its’ reality.

It’s a great fit and length and is super flattering! Perfect to dress up or down :) I’m really hoping some more colours and sizes will become available.

Bought in green and absolutely love! The green is not see through and all and is a beautiful olive tone that looks great with a tan. I’ll be wearing this all summer!

This dress is super cute. It is very versatile and can be dressed up or down for any occasion. I originally ordered the M, which is my usual size, but it was way too full. I liked it enough that I switched for a S which fit perfectly. The linen is beautiful but feels a bit scratchy and I'm hoping that it will soften with wear.

I was looking for something to wear while in Joshua Tree and this is the perfect dress. The sleeves are a unique look and fabric is soft. I got the natural colour. It’s a bit see through. But not as bad as the white. I bought a small. I did try on the medium in store and I was surprised how it still looked good - a lot more oversized. But I still decided on the small. Can totally belt this dress too.

Super cute but the white is totally see through! Looks great as a bathing suit cover but not what I wanted to use it for at that price point.

You can’t really wear this on day to day basis because it’s see through. I can see my skin under the fabric under just normal lighting. Do not recommend

I’ve been looking for a breezy linen dress for a while and this is the perfect style. Slightly sheer so it’s ideal for a day at the beach.
