Took other reviewers advice and ordered one size down. Fits well. Fabric is thin, which I like. Overall, very cute skirt.

I got the shorter version of this skirt in the matte pearl and black colour and really liked the soft buttery material and how comfortable they were. For being faux leather they don't look cheap at all. I initially got a size 4 (I'm in between sizes) which was too big so exchanged for a size 2 and while still a teeny bit loose around the waist, fit much better. I didn't want to size down to a 0 in case it was too small but the material is quite stretchy. I loved the shorter version so much that I decided to get the maxi skirt in the camel and matte pearl colour and absolutely love them too! Same smooth butter material, comfortable feel and looks really cute on. The slit makes it too high to wear to work in a more conservative setting but if you were to get the black skirt and wear it with black tights you might get away with it. Doesn't matter because I love the skirts so much that I am thinking of ordering the black as well. I also bought the Babaton Contour mockneck longsleeve bodysuit in a size small in the matte pearl colour and it goes really well with both the matte pearl and camel colours. I am thinking of getting this bodysuit in the black colour as well to go with the black skirt I am now thinking of ordering. If you are hesitating on this skirt, don't! As long as you get the sizing right it will look absolute bomb on.
