I find the look of these to be very similar to the Effortless pants, but these don't have the pleats at the front or belt buckles. The legs are also a bit slimmer (but still wide legged) and shorter. Because of this, I found them to be more flattering on me. I am 5'3 and 120lb; both size 4 and size 6 in short length fit but I went with the larger size for comfort.

Because of the elastic in the waist, they are so comfortable for all day wear which was imp for me because of bloating after eating.

Highly recommend these but I wish there were more colours in the short length!

I was looking for some casual, classic pants for my tri to Italy. Love these for a casual or more dressy look for dining out. Fabric is fabulous!

I got these to wear to work. Since I sit most of the day they needed to be comfy in the waist. These are perfect! I took the regular, not tall version even though I'm above 5'7". I wear flats or low heels at work so the length is good too. They should make these in shorts too!

So flattering on. Wasn’t sure I would like the waistband until I tried them on. Not as pleated as the effortless pants so more slimming in front. Runs a little short. 5’7 and definitely needed the long

Fits better than the effortlessly

The alayna pants are my favorite hands down. I was so excited they started making the tall version and immediately ran to buy the black pair (I have the regular length ones in red argil and it is cute for a more cropped pant). I love the fit of these. If you have a small waist but a booty these are the pants for you! The stretch waist band is a game changer because it doesn’t look like it is even there, it keeps its clean aesthetic while giving you a great fit.

This is a better fit for smaller framed women compared to the effortless pants. Im 5’2 , skinny side, hips not too wide

These pants are like the effortless without the belt loops and pants. I did have to go down a size because of the elastic waistband. I’m normally a 27” inseam so I did have to get these hemmed.

These pants snatch your wait and make you look *chef’s kiss*, however I didn’t see anyone review about this yet, so I will. The Vin Gris colour has a pinky purpleish undertone to it, and while I expected a neutral light beige similar to the Matte Pearl colour, I ended up with pale pinkish beigeish pants. The colour is cute but just not what I expected so I will be exchanging these for the black ones!

Always looking for classic pants that fit my hips and waist! With 30 waist and 42 hips it’s always tough to find pants that fit!

Lovely pants, great flow but a bit long. I'll have to wear heels with these. I bought a size 0 in Short and the inseam is 29 inches, which is longer than what it says for a Size 4 (inseam 28 1/2) in the sizing details FYI.

I ordered these pants because I broke my ankle and needed a wide leg pair of pants to go over my boot. Needless to say, I was really pleased with how these fit. I went up a size from my usual size 8, but they fit well enough. Since they were for an Easter Brunch - I wanted to be able to eat - lol. They are dressy and yet easy to wash. I am not a big fan of linen because of wrinkles, so I was hoping that these would look less wrinkly. They do, but they still have that kind of wrinkly look even coming out of the drier. Only for that reason am I giving them 4 stars.

I’ve been looking for some new work pants now that WFH is over and I’m back at the office. The elastic has gone on my Cohen and Dexter pants so the hunt began for new pants. Tried several pairs of Effortless pants (different colours and lengths) and none worked. Found the Alanya and love them. I just wish there were some other colours. I would say these are TTS 6 for Aritzia. In other brands I fit a 4/27.

Finally ! A wide legged pant I don’t have to hem . I’m 5’5 and I can wear these with sneakers . Please have these is more Colours

I have these pants in black and I love them! The fabric is really nice quality and they don’t wrinkle. I recently bought the white birch and unfortunately they are a bit see through in the back and you can see the pocket outline. They’re still cute but I’m not sure if I’ll keep them.

I love them so much that I got them in 3 colours! I am curvy, and they are super flattering.

I've been looking for a pair of black wide-leg pants for a long time. I started trying the effortless pants because so many people recommended it. Unfortunately, I was between size 0 and 2, and neither fits me well. Until I got this Alanya pant. I have to say it's perfect, in size, and length, and I also like the material better than the effortless pant. I really want to get the basalt grey color as well, but it sold out online. Please please make more colors!

These pants are flawless. They fit me far better than the effortless do (I find the effortless stunning except I have a major problem with the pleats bunching in the most unflattering way). Only problem is I adore some of the effortless colours, none of which are available in Alanya. Aritzia is missing a lot of sales by not hyping these pants up and providing a greater colour range.

As for sizing I would size down if you're between. I am normally a 00-0 (00 tends to feel a bit too tight, whereas 0 tends to be slightly too loose) and the 00 in these fit great. I am 5'2" but with longer legs, and they just barely touch the floor bare footed (perfect with any shoes)

I have these in two colours (black and the pinky orange colour). I get so many compliments on them. They are comfortable and flattering and wear really well. I’m 5’5” about 135lbs. The size 6 is very roomy and comfortable and just hangs beautifully.

These fit TTS on me, and I generally take a 4. While I’ll need to hem the Effortless pant that I got at the same time, these don’t require hemming and graze the floor without shoes. Nice and flowy, an easy pair of pants!

These pants are incredible, the moment I tried them on I was in love and I knew they were coming home with me.the stretchy waistband at the back makes them so comfortable. Did have to size down.

I like the fit of these pants compare to the effortless pants. I love the elastic band on the back and smoothness in the front. So flowy and elegant. It is perfect for my height. I can dress up and wear casually too. I am usually size 4 on pants but this one you have to size down.

As someone who holds weight in my stomach but also has a big bum, it can be hard to find pants that are flattering. The smocking on the back of the waistband means it doesn't matter where you hold your weight: you avoid the gaping. They sit perfectly flat without squeezing. I was able to get my true size based on my large hip measurement, which gives the booty plenty of room even when sitting, getting into the car, bending down, etc.

I am very short, and I'm able to wear these with sneakers and there is ALMOST no dragging. A slight platform would keep them fully off the ground. If you're taller than maybe 5'5", or really leggy, these will likely be ankle length.

For reference: I'm 5'1". my waist is 29" and my hips are 42". the size 8 is a perfect fit.

Love these pants, but I'm 5'9" and even with flats they are a few inches off the ground. I had the hem taken out so they're JUST long enough.

These pants are absolutely gorgeous! I usually wear 00-0 in Aritzia pants and I'd say these are slightly larger since 00 fit just right and 0 was too big. I'm 5'1 and they need to be hemmed slightly but I don't mind because the fit is SO flattering on a petite frame! The wide leg is not too wide or overwhelming and it gives you a beautiful silhouette. They can be dressed up for work and also down with sneakers and a simple top. You look so put together and classy in them!

I absolutely love these pants! I'm usually a size 4 in Aritzia's rigid pants but I sized down to a 2 in these and the fi was perfect.

If you’re thinking about it, DO IT. These are my new favourite pants. They’re incredibly flattering, comfortable and the perfect length (I’m between 5’4-5’5), 125ish lbs. I have many different aritzia trousers including the Effortless and these are the best imo. The elastic waistband makes them the perfect fit if you fluctuate in sizes like me (I wear 0 & 2 in effortless and 4 in other pants)

These pants fit so well! I have this in black and I wish I bought it in white as well!! Please bring back white birch. They are the perfect length and the stretchy fabric makes it super comfortable.

Love the material for colder days in the office, The fit is true to size and flattering.

These are beautiful trousers. I actually like them better than the effortless and these fit perfect for my short petite frame. I am 5'2" and 114lbs I got a size 0 and the waist is not uncomfortable bc of the stretchy waistband. I could have probably gone down another size but I think I will keep these. I am size 2 in the short effortless pant. The fit on these is absolutely classy and do not need any hemming which is the best feeling . I measured against the short effortless size 2 and the effortless are slightly longer than these.

I’m 5’2” and about 120 lbs. They fit sooo perfect and the length is perfect for me with heels.

The fabric is awesome. It fits true to size I got a 12 after reading the reviews and decided to size up. Was too big so I order my regular size 10 and it’s perfect. Got so may complements. I even order another pair. Plan on getting them all

I'm a 27 inch waist so I bought a 4, which was way too big. So I went to the store and 0 fit me the best which was so wild! It snatched my waist and fit on my legs so nicely. I have a bit of a curvier body, so maybe that's why?

Such great pants! Originally had the Effortless in 00 but those were just too long, too wide, and too big. I'm a w23 and ordered the 00 and they fit perfectly! I'm also 5'3 and they just touch the ground, making it the perfect length when I wear my sneakers (because it slightly elevates me). Highly recommend!

Beautiful, lightweight pants. They are on the longer side but will not need tailoring for me, just needs to be worn with a slight heel. I sized down as my regular size was out of stock and to my surprise they fit perfectly!

saw 1 pair of 00 in the foxfire brown colour online and immediately purchased it! i just tried it on briefly but for a 5’3 person the length is perfect (tried them with shoes and boots on) so I dont think Ill get them hemmed. as everyone said, with the stretchy band at the back it makes the fit comfortable and the inseam is perfect. i never owned a pair of trousers because i could never find any that fit or looked good on my frame but i love these sooo much and now want them in every colour..
i haven’t tried the effortless pants before so i cant compare but i love these so much so i dont think ill need to!

I was instore looking for the Effortless cropped pant but couldn't find one in my size. Low and behold, the Alanya pant in Firefox brown appeared infront of my eyes. Mind you, I'm a short girl, and an inseam of 26". I'm also 52kg, and tend to carry my weight in my belly.

I was wearing sneakers when I tried it on, and while the hem of the pants hit the floor, it just looks so good as a full length pant on a petite woman. I bought it, and paired it with a low heeled boot and a sculpt knit tank and voila! I've never felt so confident before!

The pant just gave the illusion of a tiny waist, and I could eat and bloat without feeling any less comfortable due to the stretchy waist band. It also has a clean, minimalistic look to it.

I've washed and worn it a couple of times now and it is wrinkle free! Perfect for lazy people. I'm planning to get it in the white as well (I tried the white version instore too, in a larger size, and with nude undies, it is seamless). This pant would give the Effortless a run for its money.

Lovely pants but UBER long for petites. I’d say it’s TTS except the inseam! You will definitely have to hem this if you’re below 5’8. Gorgeous drape and appreciate the elastic back waistband. I ended up returning because I did not want to spend additional on hemming as the pants is pricey as it is.

So I usually wear a size S in aritzia pants, and I am 5’2” and 130lbs, and so I ordered a 4, defs should have gotten a 6 tho! They are tighter in the waist and thigh area. Other than that they are super cute, the legs have a nice flow to them, they are also a lot more high waisted than I expected!

I like the elastic back detail on these pants coupled with the button-up front - makes them comfortable but still professional in appearance. They do ride up a bit on me as I wear them, this is common for me with pants with elastic waistbands though (pear shape body problems).
One other point to note - these pants fit shorter than I expected. I’m only 5”5 and they are juuuust the right length on me based on how they sit on my waist. Might be an issue for anyone taller than me.

I am 5"3 with a bigger booty/smaller torso and have struggled finding long pants for my figure. I have tried Effortless, Fletcher, Tio etc. These are perfect! Though I did need to get them hemmed about an inch because they are v long, the comfort and overall look is perfect. The front seems formal with the button/clasps but the back showcases the elastic band for ultimate comfort. They are definitely true to size on me (I usually wear a Large sweat pant or Size 10 pant at Aritzia)

These are the most flattering pants I've ever worn! I hope they come out in more colours because they are a dream. They hug you in the perfect places, fit the waist perfectly (with the elastic at the back), and the wide leg is so flattering and classy. I have curvy hips and a small waist and these are a perfect fit. They really accentuate your curves and shape and are my favourite Aritizia pants ever. Obsessed!

Hear me out : these are truly the perfect fit! I bought the effortless pants before and had to return them for 2 reasons : it was waaay too long and super high waisted, so it made my small butt look even more flat. It was also more structured and formal. But the Alanya pants are exactly what I was looking for : not too high-waisted, flowy (perfect for summer) but thick enough, and I don't even have to get them hemmed since the length hits just right. Looks great with sneakers and high heels. Also, it doesn't have belt loops so the overall look is cleaner.
I bought the white & black in a size 0, I'm 5ft6 and 112 pounds it that helps!

if you are considering these, just buy them !! they are the MOST flattering pant ever !!
