Blog: raw style
We came across this shot from photographer Candace Meyer's personal collection and we're rather captivated by how perfectly the dress from our new luxe line, Little Moon by Wilfred, compliments the ethereal mood of the image. We think it's a match made in heaven.
Little Moon by Wilfred is available now at select Aritzia locations.
Has your curiosity been piqued? This teaser features select pieces from our gorgeous new luxe collection, Little Moon by Wilfred, that flows into select stores tomorrow. Just wait until you see the rest ... to.die.for.
1. Even post-Olympics, this raglan tee featuring an Aboriginal-inspired print will still be as comfy as it is cool.
2. We think this Retro Track Jacket featuring the emblem of the 1980 Olympic Summer Games in Russia will be highly coveted when the 2014 Winter Olympics comes around in, you guessed it, Russia.
3. Who knew that the view of Whistler could be just as stunning screened on a parka as it is in person?! Ok, maybe its not quite the same but this parka pulls it off as much as a piece of clothing could hope for and that's saying a lot.
4. A warm toque, mittens and scarf are winter must-haves now and always. The chilly weather hasn't quite left us yet so stay stylish in this black set very subtly decorated with patches of vintage icons.
5. We love this duffel. We love the colour, we love the patches, we love the fabric. We love everything about it. Period.
The Park Life for Aritzia sale (20-50% off selected merchandise) is on now.

A common denominator between some of the most stylish women out there - regardless of what type of look they have - is a certain effortlessness in pulling off what they're wearing. The French may think of it as that je nais sais quos factor, but we think we know what their secret is. It boils down to the luxe basics they build their outfits on.
Wilfred Free - our line of uncomplicated, easy-to-wear basics that are anything but basic - is the perfect foundation for any enviable wardrobe. Look for pieces that look great on their own or layered. Casual, comfortable, sexy - the possibilities are limited only by your imagination.
The Wilfred Free Spring/Summer 2010 collection is available at all Aritzia locations now.
Lots of times, we'll have customers telling us they love our pieces but they're not really sure how to pull it off. One style in particular, cropped tops, is hard for some people to wrap their head around. Well, seeing as cropped tees, tanks and knits are as big this Spring as they were in the Fall ... we thought we'd show you a stellar example (blogger Meagan in a cropped grey tee from Aritzia) for some inspiration. Sometimes, a picture really does speak a thousand words.

The Aritzia Yeti is still doing his rounds and he's as popular with the girls as ever!

Have you seen The Aritzia Yeti around? If so, send us your photos at feedback@aritzia.com and type "Yeti Photos" in the subject field. The best of the submissions will get published right here on this blog. Come on ... show us what you've got!
Rachel Bilson swung by our Robson Street location yesterday for an afternoon of shopping after her weekend of Olympic hockey. The petite actress checked out our latest offerings and picked up quite a few pieces from our new Spring collections to add to her already very drool-worthy wardrobe.
She left with lots of great items but we were particularly happy to see some of our faves from the new season go home with her too (such as the Talula Intarsia Sweater and Lace Bustier as well as the Wilfred Washed Silk Cropped Blouse and Harem Pants).
Be sure to check out our Spring/Summer 2010 lookbook for more of the fashionable finds available in-store now.
The Aritzia Yeti is a big hit! He's been completely mobbed making his way around town but has still managed to keep his eye out for stylish girls to award with our very own gold medal. The beautiful, sunny weather lately must've inspired all the bright colours he saw downtown ... and we love it! Isn't the little budding fashionista totally adorable? We definitely think so.

This is just the first installment of our Vancouver 2010 Fashion Games series so stay tuned!
Notice anything similar? It's like they read our minds or something ...

Both the model from our Spring/Summer 2010 lookbook (top image) and the fierce femme in the lower right-hand corner are rockin' lace hot shorts in fine form. Our Talula style is available in store now.
It appears that there are plenty of others who are just as excited as us to have the 2010 Winter Olympic Games land on Canadian soil. If clothing is any indication of this (and, really, when is clothing not a good indication of what's going on?), our officially licensed Park Life for Aritzia collection has been flying off shelves at a record-breaking rate. For a round-up of some of our bestsellers that are gold medal winners from start to finish take a look at the Park Life for Aritzia lookbook.
