The elasticated version of our original goes-with-everything trouser, these are tailored-yet-relaxed high-rise pants with front knife pleats, an easy drape and a wide leg. A flexible back waistband makes them even more comfortable and easy to wear. They’re made with Crepette™ — our one-of-a-kind Japanese crepe fabric beloved for its subtle texture, breezy drape and the fact that it basically never wrinkles.

Legs fit great, waist is tighter
I’m not sure why they are called “flex” there’s literally zero stretch and the material seems cheaper than the original effortless pants and more see through. I usually wear size 0 or 2 in pants, but I could barely button the size 2 in these.

these are so nice but beware the waist fits smaller and tight
I am almost always a 10 in Aritzia pants. I got a 10 in these and although they fit quite well in most places, the waist was too tight to be comfortable (and I am all about comfort these days!). The elastic waist is there but beware that it does not give like you would think an elastic waist would. The elastic gives a little bit of stretch along the bottom part of the waist band, leaving the top part of the waistband quite non elastic and stiff with very little give. Not sure if that makes sense. I had assumed there would be quite a bit of give throughout the elastic part of the waist. I am going to try the 12s and see if that makes any kind of difference. They are indeed beautiful pants. I noticed a 'curvy' version in these now too...really not sure what to do lol FYI I am 5ft7", 166lbs 31 waist, athletic build. I usually wear M and 10 in most things

Runs Small no real “flex”
Runs small with little to no “flex” - fit tighter than the regular effortless pant I have in the same size. Tried both black and the beige. Returning both.

These fit smaller in the waist
I have other Effortless pants from previous years. I order my regular size 6 and when they arrived the waist seemed smaller than my regular Effortless pants. I could not even do these up at the waist and barely noticed any stretch in tieback. It is too bad because the fit was perfect everywhere else. Aritzia sizing has become so inconsistent. Fit was really disappointing and these will be returned.
