Check the care label for style-specific instructions. Then, wash separately in a front-loading machine on gentle cycle, cold, with all zippers closed. Use detergent formulated for down and do not use fabric softeners. Complete an additional rinse cycle, as residual detergent could affect loft.
Dry
Tumble dry on low until your Super’s totally free of moisture. This might take a couple cycles. To maximize loft, add three clean tennis or dryer balls.
Re-Fluff
Because maybe it lost some volume in storage or you just want the puffiest coat possible.
By Hand
Use a scrunching motion to redistribute the down. Then, lift your puff from the bottom and shake it. After, hang it in a warm area for up to 48 hours.
By Machine
Close all zippers. Then tumble dry your Super on low for 15–30 mins along with a slightly damp cloth. Still need more loft? Try adding three clean tennis or dryer balls to the mix. Repeat if necessary.
How to Store
Because you probably won’t be wearing much down in July.
Always Store Dry
Make sure your garment’s completely free of moisture when you put it away.
Don’t Squish Too Much
Avoid compressing your garment for long periods. Store by hanging in a ventilated closet or a large cloth or mesh bag.
