Perfect for warm Fall days. Very versatile. Something you can easily throw on over a hoodie, sweater, etc. Makes you look put together.

Excellent coat. I’m happy I purchased. The black does pick up lint pretty easily but that’s to be expected. It feels high quality and looks chic!

Coat has perfect oversized fit, easy to dress up or down. But material is horrible, I simply can’t clean it, everything sticks to it!

The camel stedman is a classic. It’s proven to more versatile than I expected. I keep tabs on my “cost per wear” for clothing purchases and this is a keeper based on cost per wear!

I tried this coat and one similar from Reformation and this one was so much better! The coat is thick but not heavy. My only complaint is that hair sticks to it like crazy but I do have two dogs so take that with a grain of salt! Overall, I really like the coat and and happy with my purchase

Boxier on shoulders than old version, smallest size is 2X so petites be warned!

I have never taken the time to write a review before but I have had such a terrible experience with this coat that I felt I needed to share. I purchased this coat to wear for the holiday season when going out to nice events. I have only worn it once and it looks like i've had it for years. It's completely balled up and everything sticks to it. I was super careful the one time I wore it but it was such terrible material that it didn't matter. This coat has a terrible material where everything sticks to it and it looks old and cheap.

If you only need one winter coat for this season, this one is it! Super comfortable, fully lined. Prefer the lined version over the unlined version. Get lots of compliments in this jacket and very warm. Stylish and functional!

I love the colour and length !!! Slightly oversized but it doesn’t drown my small frame. I usually wear XSm and bought XSm . The only thing is, I wish it fit higher on my shoulder by a cm or so?

I love the cashmere in my cucoon coat and that would be the only real improvement that I’d suggest for this one.

I expect to get a lot of wear out of this very stylish coat this winter

115 lbs and 5’2 - I ordered this in the 2XS. This is a beautiful coat but ultimately I felt too short in it to justify the cost. I decided to go with The Cocoon coat (2XS) mid size and it just feels more easily incorporated into my wardrobe.

I wanted a wool coat for milder to switch up with my beloved super puff. This coat is elegant, fully lined and not too bulky. Small was a perfect fit and plenty of room for sweaters and turtlenecks. Also the dovetail taupe is a beautiful cooler neutral (mauve undertone). Highly recommend!

The fabric is amazing and it is a very flattering coat. My only issue is the length. I could possibly size down, but the XS is a pretty good fit.

I spent forever trying to decide on which coat to invest in - yes I believe spending $400+ on a coat to be an investment. With so many options and styles to choose from, I thought the timelessness in style of The Stedman Coat would be the best option; I was not disappointed! The lines are so clean, the fabric is heavy but not overwhelming, and the quality in stitching and design are well worth the price.

In terms of fit, I am 5’11, 160lbs, and have long arms. My shoulders and hips are wider than my waist which is relatively small in comparison. I often have a hard time finding long coats that aren’t too tight around my hips and not too loose around my waist. I opted for a Large given I wanted to leave enough room for a sweater underneath. The Large was a great fit; almost perfect around the hips and the sleeves aren’t too short (long if anything). The arm holes are roomy and the chest area is extra roomy (a little too big). I could have sized down BUT the lines of the jacket make it so I don’t look like I’m swimming in material (aka make me look bigger than I am). If you’re in between sizes, my suggestion would be to try the larger if you plan on wearing this with sweaters.

Overall, this is an amazing jacket. It can be dressed up, down, and worn for years to come. Great addition to any capsule wardrobe.

A note on color - I purchased this in Saville and it is much darker in person. It’s more toffee than camel. Still a beautiful color but it’s very different in person.

I absolutely love this coat. I’m petite 5’2 and weigh 115 lb and the small size fits me perfectly. The rich caramel color is perfect for fall.

I really wanted to love this coat. its classic, refined and the perfect length considering im 5'1. The body on this fits ok, but the SLEEVES are just terrible.. they are way too small at the arm hole, and proportions are off. I could size up, but then the body would be way too big. Its also not suitable for anything thicker than a thin jersey longsleeve. At this point I cant return it, but I would advise to look for another coat

I was going to buy this a few years ago but couldnt fathom spending money on an unlined coat. Thankfully this came out! Its beautiful, well structured. and for those of you complaining abou the labels on the sleeves- they were meant to be taken out :) Laos it does leave a little knick once taken out.

This coat will be a staple in my closet for years to come. I usually like my coats to fit a little more snug and after reading other reviews, I thought the xs would be perfect (all my other coats are also xs). However, the xs was returned for a small. I am 5’6 and 130lbs. The xs hit at an awkward length near my knee, the arms were a bit too snug with my oversized sweaters and the tapering at the bottom was unflattering. The small is perfect. The arms fit comfortably with my sweaters and not too oversized with just a long sleeve shirt. The length hits just below my knee and the waist of this jacket is perfect. The fitted look helps this coat to still show off your shape and not make you look frumpy (my fear with coats! Which is why all my coats are xs). Not to mention, this coat is incredibly warm! Wore it with a sweater in the snow and was not cold once! If you’re wanting this year’s trendy “oversized” looked, I would maybe order a size up or look at the Wilfred “The Only Coat”.

I was debating between this coat and the Only Coat for weeks and ended up buying both. As much as I love the oversized look, this coat fits just big enough in my true size that it’s slightly oversized but not bulky. It is way more versatile because of that than the bulky and slightly shapeless Only Coat, at least in my opinion! I highly recommend the coat for a super timeless, easy look.

This is my first time I order aritzia wool coat and I'm so happy with the purchase.

Lusted over the scarab color for a year. Glad I finally caved and bought it. I am usually an XS in other brands, but have found I am consistently an XXS in all Aritzia coats/jackets (Super Puff, Ganna). Same went for this one. It fits perfect, except the sleeves are a touch too long which is not a big deal to me.

I adore this coat. It fits me in a slightly oversized way, with room to layer, which is what I hoped.. The green color is gorgeous. The first time I wore it, a woman stopped me to compliment it. Love the interior button to keep the coat securely closed.

Runs a bit large for a medium, but you can put a bigger hoodie underneath which is great.

Beautiful quality but the fit was way off. I ordered the recommended size and it was 11/2 times too big and the arms are exceptionally long. I am normally a small but sometimes a medium fits.

I got this coat from my parents for Christmas, and its great. I received a small. For reference, I'm 5'2", around 130lbs. and 34D bust. I have larger shoulders so it fits slightly tight, but I can still layer a sweater under it. The sleeves go past my wrists to my finger tips, and the body length hits about mid calf for me. The quality is great, and it is warm enough for mid-Missouri. I have it in the rich camel color, and i wish they had a lined version of their lighter camel color. Other than that, its perfect

A beautiful and luxurious coat that draws lots of compliments. Nice and thick and pretty warm. Worth the money for sure it's an investment piece. The onlyyyyy complaint that I think is important are the hideous tags on the sleeves. I actually felt embarrassed by then and wanted to hide them. I'm nervous to take them off myself and will probably take it so they can be professionally removed. Not sure what Aritzia was thinking with those really. Looks tacky.

I’m 5 foot 4 inches 115lbs and I purchased in an XS. It fits perfectly, I feel like if I got an XXS the arms would be too tight. Of course it’s a long coat so it goes just past my knees, almost mid shin length

I am usually size S but I got the XS size and it fits slightly larger on the sleeves. I really like this beautiful coat. It’s elegant and beautiful.

I am 5'6, 123 lb, measurements are 36-28-38.5. Shoulders measure 13.5. I went in the store and went right to the XS and it fit like a dream, I didn't even try a Small (although now I wish I would have for reference.) I wanted a more fitted look which the XS has for me.. I definitely still had room to layer as well - nothing super chunky but I had a few thinner layers on and could still move very comfortably.

Just for the record, I also tried the alpaca version of this coat in the store and the XS was too tight in the shoulders.

I love the color and the fit. I originally wanted The Only coat but it was to over sized for me.
