the ganna™ utility shirt jacket

This is the third Ghana jacket I have purchased and I love them all. They are so cozy and they look great with pretty much anything. I always get a lot of compliments when I wear them!

I bought this in the copper red which is a burnt orange/red colour. Perfect for the fall!! I actually think I prefer the style of this utility version over the original ganna. I love the original ganna (and have multiple colors in it) but found it did look kinda off on me - this one doesn't. Definitely recommend. I am normally an M/L in Aritzia but I opted for M even tho they do fit large. I just like the looser/roomier fit.

It's a nice jacket for fall. It fits a bit large imo but it's good if you want to wear layers under it. However, I'm worried about peeling as I can to notice some in the back from sitting with it on.

This shirt jacket fits just right at the right places, leaving room for layering up.

This jacket is super cute and warm but also breathable. The quality is amazing and it has the ability to make any outfit more put together.

Fit well and the weight of the fabric will be great for the fall

Love the straight bottom hem over the rounded bottom hem. Fits true to the size. Lots of room still for extra clothing inside. This includes the under arm too. Comfy and warm.

Love the classic cut and side pockets on this utility Ganna. Solid craftsmanship - can’t wait to start wearing it come fall! Got it on sale at 50% off I MEANNNNNN. Purchased heather bone in a size small. I’m 5’5’’ 155 lbs and the fit is that perfect, effortless slightly oversized look. Now the question is do I purchase the spiced burgundy?

Design changed. Aritzia decided to cheap out making this jacket by taking away the nice lining inside the pockets. The sale price at $98 should be regular price now without the lining.

Normally a S/M in tops, but I didn't want to drown in jacket so got XXS and it's perfect. This looks slightly oversized on me, but if you like the more oversized look get your normal size or just 1 size smaller. Otherwise, the straight hem works better for me - it looks less overwhelming than the original Ganna jacket since I'm not the tallest gal out there.

Unfortunately the jacket runs really big and fabric is pretty stiff. I got it as part of the recent sale and so it’s final sale :( won’t be able to even exchange for a smaller size

This felted wool jacket is a wonderful item in my wardrobe. It replaced the beautiful red one I bougth in Montreal in the seventies, and for which I wished to have an alternate substitute since years and years. The fit and length are wonderful, since XS enables me to wear over a heavy woolen pull-over on chilly days. I would recommend for women of any age because of the classic cut. I even think of ordering another one in another colour, in the same size, if available.

I adore my new “shirt” and it has gotten me through the chilliest of days.

The quality is not what I expected for the price. The weave of the wool is not dense at all and I was quite disappointed with that. If held to light, a lot of light comes through the fabric.
It started pilling the first day I wore it.

I purchased the blue plaid jacket to wear as a jumper with leggings. It’s also the perfect over-shirt. The plaid is classic and the shade of blue is just gorgeous! While I’m wearing it under coats now in this cold weather, it will be an excellent outer-wear jacket later on.
What a great addition to my winter wardrobe!

I wanted to love this jacket but the width of the sleeves especially at the wrist didn’t look good on me. I found the sleeves way too wide and the silhouette wasn’t as flattering as the original Ganna.

would've been perfect if it was lined.

This jacket is my new favourite. It’s basically the regular Ganna (I have 3 of them) but shorter with a straight hem. It’s perfect on my 5’3” body and much more flattering than the original longer Ganna on me. I love how the pockets are on the front of the jacket rather than the sides. It feels and looks like a real jacket rather than a shirt. I already have two utilities- black and green and am considering buying the brown. It should be noted that I first bought the black version in the store in size 2XS. It was perfect and then I ordered the green online in the same size. It was noticeably smaller, particularly in the length! I returned it and re-ordered the green utility in XS which fits like the black 2XS. I’m a 2XS in the Ganna Jackets for reference.

the straight hem is so nice, looks less casual than the regular ganna. Gives great lines to your legs without making you look short and covering your seat. Less of the "rolled out of bed" cozy look that the og one has. The sleeves and fit are the same as the regular ganna. the wool one is as soft as you would expect from the original. please make more colours! I tried on in store.

i got this in the purple plaid and i love it. i wore it out for the first time a couple days ago and got 4 compliments before i even sat down. i'm 5'2" and 110 lbs and got a small and am very happy with that and glad i didn't downsize. it's oversized but just a little bit, nothing crazy. i don't find it itchy at all. it's slightly thinner than i expected but i guess that's why it's called a shacket and not a jacket. i love it but it's still a bit overpriced imo. i want other colors but at $200+ a pop that's pretty steep.

This shacked is very cute, soft and cozy! I purchased it in the colour Chasm and it's a really nice neutral for both fall and spring. However, I have worn it once and it has already started pilling! This is my only negative comment on this piece. It looks very nice on and it is not itchy at all even though it is unlined. I had my eye on the red colour, but I would not purchase another one because of how easily it pills. I have a cropped version of this from last year and it has not pilled at all. I found this pretty true to size which is also good. It's still slightly oversized, but it doesn't drown my petite frame as some other styles do.

This jacket is super soft, not itchy, and oversized. It’s the perfect fall accessory to throw on before rushing out the door with the kids!

Fits great. Love the colour.
