These pants are one of the highest waistlines I’ve tried on. I have a long torso, and lots of pants sit below my bellybutton. Not these! They’re comfortable and stylish.

Great fit and so comfortable!

I absolutely love these pants and plan on buying several colours. The material and fit are so, so nice! That said, I’m 5’4 and ordered the short length and found them quite long/had to get them hemmed.

Short length is still too long for shorter person. First impression: good quality and fit comfortable just too long

I love these pants! They fit nicely in the waist and then flow beautifully. Flattering from the front and back because the material drapes so nicely. For reference, I am 5'9" and 128lbs.

Super disappointed in my recent pair of effortless pants. I have 3 pairs of size 2 pants that fit perfectly and these ones are an inch smaller at the waist. I don't understand why they would change the sizing on a staple pant - this makes it difficult to shop online and the pair i have cannot be worn.

I bought lots of pertite trousers but I'm disappointed because they are too wide to the height of pertite people like me (I'm 5'1, 114 lbs, bought many size 4) I feel like your company just chopped the lengths of regular and tall trousers without considering the portion between wide and length. I'm feeling I'm swimming in all your wide trousers even I have bought many in pertite size. Please make less wide for pertite trousers. Thanks.

Such comfortable effortless pants that can elevate any outfit. I’m 5’8, and went with a regular - it’s too long to wear with flats but are perfect with a kitten heel. I’ve searched far and wide for a great fitting pant and these are it!

I want these in every colour. I’ve never received so many compliments on pants before. Not just from friends but I recently travelled and people were coming up to me asking where my pants were from!

I got size 16, short length. I’m 5’2, with 50 inch hips and 33 inch waist.

These are extremely comfortable, soft and fit well.

Feedback for Aritzia - for this review I was asked what size I purchased, and what my usual size is and the largest size I could choose from the drop down menu was 12. Please change this ASAP.

This is my first pair of effortless pants and I cannot believe how beautifully they fit. I wish the other colours were not sold out as I would get a few more pairs. Gorgeous!!!

Bought a black pair during the clientele sale last november and a grey pair this year and they’ve stayed the same. I’m 5’10 and the regular pair is long enough for me (touches my feet, i don’t wear heels). I wear a size 10 and it doesn’t have that issue of gapping at the waist that i usually have with other pants

Im 5"5 so I ordered the regular length but they were too long, had to exchange for shorter length. otherwise, love the material, it is not too heavy.

Stretchier than I thought they would be but they fit perfectly and are amazingly comfortable. I’m 6’1” and got away with the regular fit reaching my ankles since tall was out in my size. Overall very happy with the purchase and will be buying more.

A must for the working girlies. I own them in a few color, the fit is juste amazing, stached at the waist, wide leg.

True to size and comfy

Perfect pants, super flattering. Bought a couple pair of the dupes but keep coming back to Effortless everytime. Classic wardrobe staple. I am normally a 2 in pants and yhe 2 fits perfectly.

I rotate between different colours of these pants for work. Great fit and professional look, I will continue to repurchase these.

I absolutely love how versatile and comfy these pants are! They're great for all seasons and can be worn dressed up or casually. I have four different pairs and find that my white pair fits larger, black and navy pair fits true to size, and coal grey pair fits more snug. Overall, a great basic to have.

I'm 6'1" and wear a size 6 Long in these pants. I consider these pants to be a true investment in my wardrobe, and I have 3 colors. At first I balked at the price, but now I know that these pants are worth every penny I paid for them. I wear them to work almost every day, and even when I wear my Danskos, the Long size inseam drapes perfectly over my shoes. It's always so hard to find pants long enough for me that also fit my athletic thighs & butt, but these are IT. I will never stop buying or wearing these. Tall professional girlies, these are for you!!

I love these pants but the white Birch colour is not done well- the pockets show through and it looks quite strange

These pants are so highly recommended so really wanted to have them since I like comfort and style together.

To be honest, I had a lot of difficulty with the sizing of these pants. I tried both size 2, and size 4, and decided on the 4. All size 4 did not fit the same?! The first pair I tried on fit perfectly, so I purchased them, but when I got home, I noticed that one inseam was a half inch different than the other inseam, so I exchanged for another pair, in an attempt to avoid tailoring. The next pair was so big in the waist and hips that they didn’t fit at all. They were also longer, even though both pair were regular length. I returned them, and re-purchased the pair of pants with inconsistent leg lengths, and I will go to the tailor to have this corrected as they fit me best in the waist and hips.

I can’t really rate the scale on how does it fit because there is so much and consistency

Having said all that, I’m looking forward to wearing these pants. I bought them in the suiting material and plan to wear them for special occasions.

I absolutely love these pants. I recently just started working a full-time office job and was looking for a good pair of work pants but everything else I tried on just didn’t fit right and wasn’t flattering. And that was essential for me. These are so amazing. I now have them in two colours and I’m planning on getting at least two more in the coming weeks! So worth the price!!

Love the way these pants look but I got them in black as well as the gold camel and the black were quite tight, need to size up in that color but size 6 was good in gold camel. Would be easier if sizing was the same for all colors

I find the effortless pant to be very flattering. I especially like the crepe material as it does not wrinkle. I always get complements when I wear them. I have 5 pairs now! Dress them up or dress them down with sneakers!

I love the effortless pant and I am definitely going to purchase the grey and the Taupe. Very nice quality and a staple in any wardrobe . I sized up to a size 4 because I don’t like it super tight

Fit and fabric is amazing however I have to give it 4 stars because of the length - website says it is available in Short 27” inseam however when product arrived it said Full on the tag and inseam measured 30”. I even ordered a second pair thinking wrong length was sent in error but they were the same. Will be getting them shortened because I love the Effortless fit and feel!

I bought the trousers in white and sadly I've been disappointed. The pants are incredibly see through. You can see the pockets clearly through the outer lining when not being worn, and the sheerness is even worse when the trousers are being worn. This purchase was a huge learning lesson for me in fabric quality. Please please please do not spend this much money on this type of material. This will be my last purchase from the store.

I can’t seem to win with these pants. Not to mention that they sent me regular length when I ordered short. Had to return giving that they were huge and way too long.

I was actually a 4 I would say based on fit . I trusted the size guide and ordered an 8 but 4 would have been more like it . Anyways …I’ll sell them maybe . Looked so bad for my birthday!

I really love it. They look amazing, are Soft and comfy. I size up 2size so the fit is better. The only things is that it's not a real Petite. I am 5.2" and bought the petite length and still had 1 foot too long..... I had to pay for ajustement...

Finally caved and bought these pants and they really are so awesome. Super stylish and easy to dress up and down. I got the regular height and found that it was just right with a pair of heels (I'm 5'2). I like that they don't wrinkle much. I usually wear a size 2 but got a size 0 though I'll still say its true to size cause I think its me not the pants (I lost weight).

Absolutely love the drape of these pants. They truly do look so effortless. Flattering fit and perfect for the office or casually. Fabric is easy to care for as well. I really want the birch colour but it’s see through :( I have these in 3 colours in the crepe material and 1 in the linen - and I want more!! Fit wise, I went with a size 10 for a comfortable fit (29/30 inch waist and 42 inch hips).

I had high hopes for these pants, but they were too long even in the short version. I returned it for the Carrot pants which were a much better fit for my height.

I (5ft11) tried these on in store and loved them but they were too short so I went online and ordered two pairs of these, one in black and one in nomad taupe in the tall length hoping they would fit perfectly. Unfortunately, the pants are still too short which is why I’m giving them 3/5 stars. I should’ve been wary when it said that the tall length was for those 5’7 and over. I’m going to try to get the hem taken down on them to gain a bit of extra length because wide-legged pants look weird if they aren’t floor length. Aritzia, please create another longer length for us long legged ladies so we can enjoy your pants too. :(

I am not a fan of high waisted pants and I know they are really "in" right now. If these were not high waisted I would've loved them.

The pants look great! Love the material. But I think the height recommendation is a bit misleading online. I am 5’8” so I ordered the tall length. It is actually very long. I tried on at home and I stepped on my pants when I walk. Since I don’t wear high heels, I think I have to return them and get regular length instead…

Get a neutral colour or it'll be hard to pair

I love these pants and have in two colours. But, after buying the first pair in my usual size (6), I sized up to 8 for my second. They just fit a bit smaller than my other Aritzia pants. Ideally I would be right in the middle of those two sizes, but overall find it was better to go slightly large than slightly small. No one but me notices, but no one wants to feel like their pants are too tight at the waist! I bought regular and had them hemmed.

Such a nice fit very worth it
