Too short
Have tried these on before and worn a friends, I love them. The ones I got were extremely short and therefore uncomfortable and unflattering. Got the long version and like them way better

They rip easily
Great wash, great fit but the fabric is very week because of the distressing and they rip vertically.

Waste of money
As with another reviewer, I bought these in swamp meet blue and they ripped up the leg when squatting the first time I wore them, exposing way too much leg. They fell apart even more when I washed them. Complete waste of money as they’re now unwearable.

Great fit but different quality in washes
I love these Parker shorts. They are a perfect fitting jean short, the butt looks great, and the extra width around the hem make your legs look lean and also don’t create any bulging when sitting. I have them in a couple of washes - one destroyed and one not. The destroyed swamp meet blue seems to be a thinner material. I give these a 1 star! Unfortunately the first time I wore them I squatted down and they ripped at the side of the leg where the destructed hole was! I ended up with a 2” dangling strip of denim and a slit halfway up my hip. They look stupid now and show more thigh than I’m comfortable with so they are unwearable and a waste of $188. I bought the ones without the destruction, the wash isn’t as nice but the denim seems thicker and there are no holes to rip up my leg at least. I give these a 5 star.
I usually prefer a destructed look with Jean shorts and have never had this happen, nor where they too tight. I *think* it’s because they like the destructed holes to look authentic so they wear out the fabric to create the hole but unfortunately it leads to shorts that easily continue to rip more than fashionably. If you want a more durable destructed Jean short with a similar fit, try the Denim Forum Ex-Boyfriend.
Fit true to size. I’m 5,8” and 122 Ilbs - I’m usually a 25 and bought a 25. Go down 1 size if you like them fitted.
