Fabric has no stretch so if between sizes, size up. Normally a size 26 and 26 fits perfectly. The medium blue colour is perfect to dress up or down. Highly recommend!

I always have such an issue finding jean shorts that fit both my waist and my larger thighs but these fit perfect! I’m generally a size 26 and the 4s fit perfect. They’re ever so slightly loose but perfectly so so I can wear them mid to low rise depending on if I’ve washed them recently.

I’m usually a 25 but I got a 26 because I wanted a more low rise fit and I love the fit of it there is a lot of space to move around lol

Everything everyone else says is completely true- some extremely whack sizing! And I understand the look the model has where the shorts are kinda low slung- buyer beware if you have any kind of hip/waist ratio these will NOT work as low rise. Tell me why I had to buy a 25, 24, and 23 short?! 25s gapped crazily in the waist and fit OKAY in the leg- altho started to bag immediately and got that weird jean thigh ruching. 24s fit better in the waist but went to high up my crotch I could only wear them in the middle of my cycle when I’m thinnest lol. 23… that one was on me. I recommend these shorts if you look exactly like the model- I am 5’3/120 pounds but these shorts did not work on my proportions at all.

Yes they 'run big' but that is the point behind this fit and shape. I just got them in my first online order with Aritzia and love the baggy style, (size 27 sits just above my hips more so than my waist, and I usually get jeans that are 26.5 or 27 inches when I use a measuring tape. I am 5'7" and 125lbs) but I'm pretty baffled in terms of the color :(

I ordered the Beach Bottle Blonde hoping for a bright blue, classic denim color that you see online, but the pair I received is very light blue with zero primary blue brightness. My pair looks almost exactly like the Pale Pretty Blue color on the website (which I imagine may be much closer to white irl?) ...Given the price tag for a pair of basic shorts & shipping cost, I'm not sure what to do; either the color is not true as advertised or I got a lemon. All of the Aritzia stores in my city are sold out of these so there is no way to compare irl. Bummer. Recommend you buy in-store if they have them near you before purchasing online.

I'm normally a size 25 or 26 so I got these in a 25. They fit a bit looser on my hips/thighs which I prefer, but they gap a lot around my waist. I will definitely need to have them taken in. Other than that the length of these shorts is perfect, not too long and not too short, and the color is beautiful!

The shorts were really nice. The only thing I wish was that it hugged the waist more. I have wider hips so I had to get a size that made it feel a bit loose for my thighs.

im normally a size 6 so got a 27 thinking they would be fine... they are huge. like I probably need a 25 which is crazy because that is not my normal size. after wearing these all day they are massive. im silly and took the tags off so can't return but definitely size down at LEAST 2 sizes.

Depending on fabric and rise, I am generally anywhere between a 26-29. I bought these in a 26 and 27. The 26 fit my waist perfectly but was tight in the crotch. 27 was looser in the waist and not tight up front. Kept the bigger size and wear it with a belt. I'm 5ft 8in 140lbs. They are so so comfortable!

I love these shorts so much! They are super cute and I love the colour and length and how there is some stretch. I ordered a 27 which is my usual size because I have bigger hips and usually expect my pants to be a bit big in the waist. The thighs and hips fit great, but these are HUGE in the waist. I measured the shorts and they measured 31" around instead of what the measurements are in the sizing char. I would recommend sizing down. For reference I'm 5'5, 135-140lbs, 26-27" waist, 39" hips.

True to size and super comfy. The inseam is the perfect length - not too short but not too long/frumpy. I love that there’s no distressing or rips in the shorts. Only way to make these better would be a button fly!

I bought these jean shorts initially in a size 24, but they actually fit more like a 26. Upon arrival, they looked quite large. They were too oversized to look presentable when I tried them on. Ended up exchanging for a size down. The waist actually measures 26” rather than closer to 24”. Beware of this when selecting your size! I’d recommend sizing down if in between sizes. Aside from that, the quality is wonderful. Soft, comfortable denim. Will be my go-to this summer !!
