These pants require surgeon level dexterity to do up. The button fly closure is not only made for left handed individuals, but is covered by a flap of fabric. Moreso, the button holes are JUST big enough for each button. I would NOT recommend these pants unless you are willing to spend copious amounts of time getting into and out of them. They fit slightly large so if you are brave enough to get them, size down.
I have worn these once as I am physically incapable of doing them up. Good luck to you!

Favorite cargo pants ever!! So flattering, literally have them in 4 colors

I’m 5’10 and I ordered these pants in the tall length, but they are still too short. I was informed after receiving my order that the tall pants vary in length depending on what size you order. For example, the 00 tall would be shorter than the 10 tall of the same pants. There should be one standard tall length for all sizes of the same pants. For most brands that carry tall pants the inseams are usually 33” to 34” for full length pants.

I've had these pants for about a year and I wear them all the time, love the look and feel but ever since I bought them they've had a plastic/industrial smell that does not go away no matter how much I wash it. And since I've gotten it, 2 of the buttons have broken off, not just fallen off but the button itself has broken into multiple pieces leaving it unsalvagable

Love these pants. They're so cute and a nice modern take on the cargo styles from the late 90's/early 00's. Fabric is heavy and durable. Definitely size up!

Please Aritzia, give these a zipper. The button fly seems to be reverse and are SO tough to do up or undo. Don’t get these unless you have amazing dexterity and are ok spending 5-10 minutes doing up your pants.

For the price, the quality should be better and it’s disappointing to see the thread holding the buttons coming loose so fast

Worst button fly ever. Buttons so hard to use. They should switch it to zipper. I returned them because of this. It’s like the buttons are too big for the holes and the material of pants is too stiff. Otherwise loved the style sadly.

The quality of the product seems good. I just can’t believe how small these run!

Love the pants but within 2 wears multiple buttons had already had the threading coming loose. Now the buttons just dangle they’re hanging on by a thread which deters me from wearing them. It sucks because they are nice pants! Expected more quality for the price.

These fit ok- I'm 5'2-ish, 130 lbs, with a big butt/small waist. These were too big around my waist and made me look wider than I actually am, but they fit my butt/thighs comfortably. Length was perfect. Also, didn't realize they had a button fly! Those are the worst.

So I'm giving it a 3 hesitantly as I want to love these pants, so this is why I kept them. My main complaints are the material is a bit thicker than I would have hoped, the button closure requires some effort and the inseam if the pant is super crotchy. So they aren't as comfortable as I had hoped but I still love the look.

The sizing of the new version of the modern cargos is completely different. I have the original version in which I wear a 00. When I ordered these in the exact same size, they were twice as small, they wouldn’t go up my thighs. I was so disappointed.

Bought these for my 20 year old daughter for Christmas. She is very slim (5'4", 100 lbs) and has trouble finding pants that fit correctly. The 00 fit like a glove and the length was perfect too. Very well made and high quality which is not always easy to find. Worth the price!

Should’ve listened to the reviews and sized down. They do stretch out as you wear them. Not worth the price for the quality IMO

I am 5'3 with waist size 26" (25.5 on a good day). hip size 35.5". Slightly longer torso.

I was looking for a HIGH WAIST style cargo -- at or even *above* the belly button, which is not how you see the model wearing it in the photos. That said, I used the website's FitFinder feature as well as the size chart for size 0 and 2, and 2 was recommended. I decided to initially order a size 2. For a size 2, the fit is good, hits right below the belly button, just grazes the floor so no alterations would be needed.

But I downsized to a 0 on in stores and it fit *perfectly* -- just snug enough at the waist to still be comfy (high waist, above belly button, which is what I was looking for), yet a tighter fit around my hips and butt which made the fit look so much nicer on me. Decided to keep size 0.

I really think these look so much better as a slightly tight fit around the waist + hips rather than a looser cargo -- but just keep that in mind when deciding the size you try!

Regarding the material -- slightly thicker but feels high quality and soft, not like a canvassy/scratchy material. So excited for these pants.

Love the colour and material of pants, a little thicker actually like a thick Cotton. But I didn’t like the bottom of the leg as there button to make them more tapered. Also, the button fly was on the left hand side, making it difficult for right handed person and the button used are a bit large and felt a bit cheap.

I ordered these pants because I wanted a new colour I currently have the older style in these pants in the birch colour. I'm a general size 8 in clothing but I sized up to a 10 because I'm usually a 10 at aritzia. They buttoned up but are soooo small and my old size 8 ones fit me better. so confused . definitely size up.

I am really disappointed with these pants for $128 you'd think if you order the pants in a short size that they would be shorter no matter the waist size. I ordered a size 8 in the short length because I am 5'3 but they were wayyy too long. I literally have to roll the bottoms three times for it to fit right. I have ordered the short size before so I don't know why they aren't all consistent with one another. I compared to a friends pant who has the regular length but is a size 2 and mine were longer... the only thing that should be changing should be the lengths, it shouldn't differ depending on the waist size. Really disappointed with these :(

I’ve always worn second-hand and thrifted pants that didn’t quite fit properly cuz I’m not a fan of shopping, but recently I decided I needed to buy a pair of new, durable, well-fitting pants. I normally struggle finding pants that fit both my waist and are the proper length, so I figured finding this perfect pair of pants would be a struggle. But then, I stumbled upon these pants and instantly fell in love! They have nice big pockets, they’re button up rather than zip up (making them easier to repair in the future), and they’re made of sturdy material. In addition to all these great practical features, they’re super cute and fit better than any other pair of pants I’ve ever worn!!! After a week of owning them I went out and bought a second pair in a different colour. They’re truly amazing!!!

Love the fabric, very comfortable. The color appears brighter on the web then in real. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw them. Very flattering.

Very sustainable material! Worth every penny

A lot of the reviews said to size down in these pants because they fit slightly larger. I'm usually a size 2 (115 pounds), so I ordered both a size 0 and 2. The size 0 was way too small. The size 2 fit me perfectly. In my opinion these pants fit true to size. I bought the short version of these pants considering I'm only 5'2, and they hit right at my ankle. Very flattering pants, love the fit.

These pants were amazing when I first got them - tight on my waist and hips and then baggier through the leg. Until I washed them? Now they are very baggy and gaping at the waistband. I wish I had sized down. Unfortunately because they have been worn and washed now I can’t do anything about it

Amazing fit and perfect summer color

I wanted to love these pants as the fit and fabric are great, but the button fly is near impossible to button so unfortunately I will be returning them.

I love these pants, they look so nice and are very soft and comfortable. The size start said my waist was a size 10 and my hips were closer to size 12 so I went with a 10(Which normally would not be my size). The pants came in and were slightly big on the waist. Wish I got a size 8 but still cute.

It is very comfortable, it does have a zipper it is buttons.overall it’s okay. But the buttons are a bit stiff

I love these so much but the little clips on side to cinch in the waist do not stay in place unfortunately and they are on the shorter side. But the vibe is there and I got so many compliments

They fit big so size down but they really do accentuate the body perfectly!

I bought the purple and the cream colour. These are so comfy and soft. Option to open or tighten the ankle is great! I’m 5’2 and the length is perfect with sneakers or heels. With wear they do loosen up so best to size down.

Got the tall and very happy with them. Originally bought a 6 but ended up returning for a size larger for the length and a more casual fit. They do stretch out a fair bit

I love these but PLEASE make a longer version!!!! I’m 5’10 and they barely hit the ankle. They’d look so much better if they were 2-3 inches longer.

I sized up for a comfier fit in my hips and thighs as they’re very structured with no stretch. They’re full length on me, since I’m so short, and I absolutely love the look.

One of my favourite pants ever!

Pants have a nice fit as they are tight on the bum and looser on the legs, the button on the bottom can be adjusted for a more straight leg or tapered look. Fit true to size I originally ordered the 4 and the fit bit were tight and wanted a looser fit so sized up to a size. I got the Tall and am 5”6 and they just cover my ankle

I usually am a size 4, I tried them on in the store and it was just way too wide around my waist. I size down to a 2 LONG and it fits amazing, cinches at the waist and widens for my hips. Favourite pants I own. For reference I am 5’7” and 135lbs.

As others mentioned though, the buttons are a major pain. Thought people were being dramatic until I tried them on.
Boyfriend asked me if I was going for an archeological dig lol.

I used to love these pants then after a few washes I went to put them on and three of the 5 buttons literally snapped in half and fell off. I could maybe understand if the pants were tight and I had to stretch them to button them up, but these pants are a whole size too big for me (even though they’re supposed to be my size). spent $150 on pants that literally fell apart. would not recommend

They are super confortable! I love the fact that I can wear them for work! I must be the only electrician that wears Aritzia pants for work!

I'm 5'7" (171 cm) with a slightly long waist, about 130 lbs, relaxed waist circumference of 65 cm and hip circumference of 94 cm. According to the size chart, my hips should fit a size 6 and my waist should be between a 2 and a 4.

I originally ordered a size 2 and 4 in the GD lavandin (purple) colour after reading all the reviews about them fitting large. For those who are new to pants with a high % cotton, they do stretch out at least a size when you are wearing them for the first time (and again after they shrink a bit in the wash), especially if you get a lighter color.

Right out of the box, the 4 was huge, even in the hips. It was like those cliche weight-loss pictures where people wear their old baggy pants. The legs and hips of the 2 were on the flattering end of baggy, but the waist was still a couple inches too large, and I knew they would stretch out even more.

I ended up ordering another pair in a 0 (still purple), and it fit comfortably with slightly snug hips. I'm sure the legs and hips will stretch out perfectly over a couple hours, but because the waist of the 0 fit perfectly right away (not tight, but hugs it nicely), I may end up needing to get the waist slightly altered if it loosens up too much. I nearly ordered a 00 to try for size, but the front seam/waist height gets shorter with every size (2 covers my belly button, 0 is right under it) and I think a 00 would be too low (and possibly give me a wedgie).

For length, the purple only comes in a regular length and the hem just touches the top of my feet. I thought it might be short, but it's just right! The colour is also perfect!! It will probably fade a little during the first wash, but hopefully it holds up well!
