While this dress fits well and looks super flattering- the material snags almost immediately. I’ve not worn it out and it already looks cheap. Wish I didn’t take the tags off - would have returned.
Size medium fits good - 5’3” and 150 lbs.

Really love the Wilfred dresses in this style in general, and this one is no exception. I don’t put anything besides tissues in the pockets because it drags on the light fabric, but it’s perfect regardless.

This dress has such a beautiful cut. As another reviewer mentioned, this does make your waist look snatched. I’m pretty short, so this dress comes down to the the tops of my ankles, but doesn’t overwhelm my frame. I loved the flowy skirt.

The material is light & breathable for warmer weather, but that can be an issue if you want this dress in a lighter color. The top portion of the dress is double-lined, so going bra-less is possible if you have a smaller chest. The skirt portion is constructed with a single layer of fabric, so the skirt can be completely transparent at lighter colors. I initially ordered the light birch; nude-colored undies could work, you can see the pockets through the skirt. I ended up returning & purchasing the market slit dress in a darker color to avoid the visible pockets altogether. I actually like the slit version of this dress more.

I love dresses with pockets, but this one’s a pass.

Perfect for work, weekend...

The dress is true to size and absolutely looks gorgeous. It sculpts the chest area nicely and hangs delicately. However, the material is cheap--it snags so easily and I had a few snags the first few hours of wearing it now there's threads hanging out here and there. Don't know why the quality has gone down at Aritzia the past 2 years.

I had such high hopes for this one! Bought in white. I love the fit and style but unfortunately it’s totally sheer. It’s also very weird that you can see the pockets through the skirt - had ti return cause I couldn’t get over that. Would probably be ok in a darker colour.

This is a cute dress fir the summer but you can see through the skirt. You can see the pockets through the skirt fabric. I loved the dress and still bought it with the intention of having a lining put into the dress.

Is so shear that you can see your panties through it not matter if they are nude. I

I think this is a really nice every day sort of dress. The fabric is very comfortable and it has pockets! It's light so it'll be nice for the warmer days of spring and for the summer. The only downside is that the fabric is kind of thin so you really have to wear seamless underwear under it, or you will have lines.

I’ve tried on the Market Dress before in store, and I love the cut and style of the dress - very flattering on all body types. However, every light coloured one I’ve tried on has been see through! I was excited to see the Bubblegum Pink colour this season (cuz she’s my fave) and I hoped that, as a slightly darker pink, she wouldn’t be see through. Once again, I am disappointed and will be returning. Aritiza — we love this dress! Can we get it made with better quality fabric that isn’t see through??

The cut and fabric are quite nice, but the dress is completely see through. If you plan to wear a bodysuit or shorts underneath, it’s should be fine.

I absolutely love the Market dress.
It is a stretchy dress so I can wear a large or still fit into a medium. The large is a bit longer and the medium is a bit shorter. I am 140lbs.
The straps are not adjustable so for the large I had to take to the tailor to shorten them. But the medium was perfect. You can dress it down or a casual look with sneakers or dress it up with heels for a dressier look.
Overall nice fabric and looks fancy.

I own this in a dark blue colour and love it so much that I bought it in light pink as well. The light pink one is super super see through, which is very disappointing because the dress itself is fab.

This dress is so versatile!

I have the slit version as well. It's super soft, flowy and flattering. I can even pull off no bra in the summer due to the double fabric layer at the chest.

For reference, my measurements are: 49.5" bust, 48" waist (pregnant) and 50.5" hip and my regular size xl has fit me for a few weight fluctuations due to pregnancy and postpartum.

Bought it in the grotto green colour, absolutely gorgeous! Can be dressed up for an evening out or down to play at the park with my three daughters.

This dress is not double layered and you will see the pockets. I didnt notice until i got it but looking back you can even see it in the birch dress. It very funny looking

This is one of my favourite dresses I purchased it in black love it! But then excited to purchase more…. I purchased an ivory one and a pink one and they’re both see-through

I had high hopes for the dress, but the bottom half was sheer. I got it in the yellow (wheat) color and the only opaque part was the pockets. My underwear showed. The material is nice and flowy, but that means nothing if I can't even wear it out.

Bought two of these in different colors and it was a complete waste of money. The top tends to pull down and shows the your bra…have to constantly keep pulling it up. The navy color also pulls a lot

Nothing much to say other than this dress is the best. It can be worn casually or dressed up. It has pockets which is super convenient going to order more colours!

I love this dress &it gas pockets!! Soft material and stretchy. Usually order an XS but didn’t want it to be too fitting. The small is definitely true to size. The green dress is beautiful. Ugh, I love everything about this dress.

This dress is amazing! It is so comfortable and fits great! The color is beautiful. If I could change one thing I would make the straps slightly shorter.

Got the talc pink colour .. it’s pretty but very see-through. You fully see the pockets and it looks stupid. In certain lighting you see your legs, your butt, your underwear. I love the dress otherwise but has to be in black or a dark colour. It’s a shame because the shade of pink is pretty but I can’t wear it! 5 stars in the black colour.

The market dress is beautiful. It’s a 10 out of 10. The fabric is wonderful and rich. I love it that they put pockets into the dress. I can’t wait to get it in another color.
I had to make a small alteration. My breast are high on my chest. I had to take the straps up. Otherwise the front of the dress would expose my breast. I was able to do it myself. I would definitely recommend this dress.

I find the fabric pulls a little. I wore it once and already have a bunch of snags on my bum area.

I also find the straps to be a little too long since the fabric is so stretchy.
