Heed people’s warnings that the dress is very see-through in anything other than black. The dress is so soft and hangs nicely, but can’t wear it even with light underwear. Sadly have to return it.

I do like the dress and it is super comfortable. The only downside are the straps. They were super long and If I don't alter it, I will be showing things to world that I do not want to show. I wear a collared shirt underneath now until I can get it adjusted. I also ordered a size down thinking it would help, but the problem persisted.

The fabric is nice and comfy; however, the fit is not true to size. I ordered my suggested size but I should have sized down. The light pink is see-through and you can see the lining of the pockets through the fabric which ruins the dress. I would not recommend getting it in the lighter colors for the price point. It is final sale so I will use as a beach cover-up. Maybe it is better in the darker colors.

The material is soft and lovely but I bought one in pink , there is no lining. The bottom part is totally see-through with 2 ugly patch pockets. Cannot even return or exchange because it was on sale. The photos on their website are so deceiving. They must have photoshopped it somehow. Very sad.

Don’t love it because you can see the pockets through the bottom. Not sure why they couldn’t line the whole bottom like the top is. Unfortunately, it was on sale so it was final sale.

omg, I love this dress and own it in black. I love that it is stretchy and soft, just an easy-to-throw-on casual dress. Pockets of course are a love. So when I saw the lighter colors (pink) went on sale, I picked one up obviously. I was so disappointed. The light pink is so incredibly see-through and it just ruins the whole dress. Because of the pockets, you can see the pocket lining through the fabric which ruins the silhouette of the dress to even save face as a beach cover-up.

The market dress is very soft and comfy but very very see through. For that price it should not be see through.

The fit is perfect. I’m 5”4, 114, bust 34D, waist, 25. This dress is so comfortable, and great fit. It’s very complementary to my figure. Would highly recommend

So disappointed. A nearly $80 dress and I can see my tattoo through the dress. It feels cheap and is absolutely not worth almost $100. I preordered and was excited to wear it- and now that it’s in stock it’s on drastically sale, and not the quality I expected

Love the market dress and already own one in Black. Ordered the birch color, but sadly the skirt portion of this is completely see through. The pockets show as big patches and even nude underwear can be seen from the front. Something has changed with the quality of fabric as it is thinner material than the one I bought a few years ago.

This dress fits like a glove and is so soft you could sleep in it! The neckline is very flattering on my smaller chest and I love the flowy skirt! I have it in Black, Blue, & Pink! I highly recommend this dress, it can be dressed up or down.

I really loved the dress. I got the S size snd it fit TTS. I am 5’3’’ and weigh 140. The material is soft and not to see through. In this hot summer this dress is great. You can wear it with sandals, tennis shoes or some heels.

I have this dress in succulent green and epicurean brown. It is super comfortable and flattering, and I love that it has pockets! The epicurean brown color is more of a terra cotta which is unfortunate, but it still works on me. I’ll definitely be buying more as new colors come out. I’m usually a S or M, ordered a M and the straps are a bit long but otherwise is the perfect size.

The fabric is lightweight, and it’s a great staple for summer specially if you are going to the Beach or the pool, great coverup. However, if I want to get lunch, or walk thru the mall, or run errands, I’ll def. Opt for the darker colors: black, brown…
For Reference: my waist is between 25”-26”, 102 pounds and size 2XS was a perfect fit. The material is stretchy. Love the pockets. I bought the color “Talc pink” on sale for $29.99 & felt for that price is worth it.

It’s a very comfortable dress and the skirt part is heavy so it will pull down on the top. I wear a bralette underneath for coverage and it looks cute, too. The light color ones are sheer though.

I buy a new color (or two) every year, that’s how much I love this dress! I have at least 7 now with no plans of stopping. You might think that’s too much, but you try buying just one!

The fabric is heavy enough that it hangs beautifully and it’s very flattering. Super glad I went for this and may pickup another colour.

While this dress fits well and looks super flattering- the material snags almost immediately. I’ve not worn it out and it already looks cheap. Wish I didn’t take the tags off - would have returned.
Size medium fits good - 5’3” and 150 lbs.

Really love the Wilfred dresses in this style in general, and this one is no exception. I don’t put anything besides tissues in the pockets because it drags on the light fabric, but it’s perfect regardless.

This dress has such a beautiful cut. As another reviewer mentioned, this does make your waist look snatched. I’m pretty short, so this dress comes down to the the tops of my ankles, but doesn’t overwhelm my frame. I loved the flowy skirt.

The material is light & breathable for warmer weather, but that can be an issue if you want this dress in a lighter color. The top portion of the dress is double-lined, so going bra-less is possible if you have a smaller chest. The skirt portion is constructed with a single layer of fabric, so the skirt can be completely transparent at lighter colors. I initially ordered the light birch; nude-colored undies could work, you can see the pockets through the skirt. I ended up returning & purchasing the market slit dress in a darker color to avoid the visible pockets altogether. I actually like the slit version of this dress more.

I love dresses with pockets, but this one’s a pass.

Perfect for work, weekend...

The dress is true to size and absolutely looks gorgeous. It sculpts the chest area nicely and hangs delicately. However, the material is cheap--it snags so easily and I had a few snags the first few hours of wearing it now there's threads hanging out here and there. Don't know why the quality has gone down at Aritzia the past 2 years.

Market dress is my all time favorite. They fit really well. I have it in so many colours.

I had such high hopes for this one! Bought in white. I love the fit and style but unfortunately it’s totally sheer. It’s also very weird that you can see the pockets through the skirt - had ti return cause I couldn’t get over that. Would probably be ok in a darker colour.

This is a cute dress fir the summer but you can see through the skirt. You can see the pockets through the skirt fabric. I loved the dress and still bought it with the intention of having a lining put into the dress.

I think this is a really nice every day sort of dress. The fabric is very comfortable and it has pockets! It's light so it'll be nice for the warmer days of spring and for the summer. The only downside is that the fabric is kind of thin so you really have to wear seamless underwear under it, or you will have lines.

I’ve tried on the Market Dress before in store, and I love the cut and style of the dress - very flattering on all body types. However, every light coloured one I’ve tried on has been see through! I was excited to see the Bubblegum Pink colour this season (cuz she’s my fave) and I hoped that, as a slightly darker pink, she wouldn’t be see through. Once again, I am disappointed and will be returning. Aritiza — we love this dress! Can we get it made with better quality fabric that isn’t see through??

The cut and fabric are quite nice, but the dress is completely see through. If you plan to wear a bodysuit or shorts underneath, it’s should be fine.

I absolutely love the Market dress.
It is a stretchy dress so I can wear a large or still fit into a medium. The large is a bit longer and the medium is a bit shorter. I am 140lbs.
The straps are not adjustable so for the large I had to take to the tailor to shorten them. But the medium was perfect. You can dress it down or a casual look with sneakers or dress it up with heels for a dressier look.
Overall nice fabric and looks fancy.

I own this in a dark blue colour and love it so much that I bought it in light pink as well. The light pink one is super super see through, which is very disappointing because the dress itself is fab.

This dress is so versatile!

I have the slit version as well. It's super soft, flowy and flattering. I can even pull off no bra in the summer due to the double fabric layer at the chest.

For reference, my measurements are: 49.5" bust, 48" waist (pregnant) and 50.5" hip and my regular size xl has fit me for a few weight fluctuations due to pregnancy and postpartum.

Bought it in the grotto green colour, absolutely gorgeous! Can be dressed up for an evening out or down to play at the park with my three daughters.

This dress is not double layered and you will see the pockets. I didnt notice until i got it but looking back you can even see it in the birch dress. It very funny looking

This dress feels light and airy. Can’t wait til summer to wear it!
