The fabric was not soft. Very stiff. And scratchy. The fit was unflattering. Had to return it.

Believe the hype -this is a beautiful sweater. Slightly cropped fit but nothing too much and I love the tie waist detail. It’s the perfect addition to my wardrobe. And I love the merino wool. I generally can’t wear wool but the merino is soft and not itchy.

I have an older version of the Lorin sweater. It has alpaca in the composition of its knit, minus the viscose, etc. It's definitely my bad for assuming the knit composition was the same when I ordered the "New Lorin". Because I enjoy the Lorin sweater I have, I very much looked forward to having another in a different colour. My disappointment upon removing the sweater from the box on its arrival was instant! The new version was of lesser knit quality, flimsy and thin in comparison to my previous version. As a result of the change of the fabric knit composition it not only feels different, the overall structure is not as flattering. The neck is sloppy, the arms are sloppy, etc. There is alternate knit creating "cuffs" on the new version, not the previous version The "New Lorin" has a softer silkier feel, if that's what you prefer, over a coarser knit composition. It just was not what I was expecting. You know when you like something & it's discontinued & the new version doesn't compare to the old, that's the case for me.

Great fabric and the red is so vibrant. My daughter got it in beige which is also as nice as the red.

The sweater was quite thin, and wasn't very good quality. It came ripped.

I bought this in 2019 in black and loved it. I then lost in this year so ordered another. The seam split after two wears. I brought it back bc that’s unacceptable. I just got another in the mail and it came with the exact same split seams the base of the sweater which means this is a production issue. Such a shame. Do better quality aritzia.

I love this sweater, it’s cropped so I don’t have to tuck it into work pants!
I’m usually a large. I could do medium or large. I got a large though. If you want the arms more fitted I would recommend going down a size, but the crop will be smaller as well.

I just wish they would have better colours - like hot pink, bright red… just not so dual of colours.

Bought this and on line and was not sure about it as last year it had over 100 reviews listed. Many cited it itchy or illfitting (and many had returned).

I have average skin and am aware the sweater is touching my skin but not finding it itchy. It is definitely not as soft as others but its also a different wool blend than others.

I float between a small and medium. I like the (slightly) relaxed look the medium is giving me. Not sloppy but just not as fitted as you'd wear other items of clothing.

This sweater washes amazingly well. I pop mine in a bra bag in the washer on a very short cold cycle and lay it flat to dry. I would say it dries within 8-10 hours.

(washed the cyprie the same way and it shrunk to the size of a postage stamp. holding back from ordering the Lorin in the same colour to replace it)

Really loved this sweater and the style but I found the ties could be longer. Also I have worn it literally twice and there is already a big hole in it!! I have been working from home so not doing anything crazy while wearing it. Unacceptable for something I spent $130 on. Aritzia, do better! Would like a refund or store credit for poor quality materials

There was a hole in a seam that I didn’t notice until wearing the sweater.

I bought this in 2019 and it’s been worn many many times. On a trip to NYC I kept this on repeat and I regret it because all of the pictures look like the same day! It’s held up amazingly, no pilling. I bought a size small but should have sized up, it would be a perfect fit but the shoulders are narrow. I want to buy a new one but am trying to control myself.
