Incredible fabric quality, a timeless classic that I will always have in my wardrobe

I had a hard time choosing a colour, they are all really nice. I went with the wicker and I love the weight of the fabric, it’s almost a perfect trench. The fabric is light enough to wear in warm weather and has a nice shell feel that works great over a warm sweater for cooler weather. The epaulettes are a bit too long and hang off the shoulders, the trench itself is slightly too long and too oversized, giving a detective look rather than a chic timeless look and the belt doesn’t tie nicely. It’s VERY big, I went down two sizes and it’s still roomy enough to wear a big sweater comfortably. I still like it though and will keep it. It’s great to throw on for errands and school drop offs, especially when it’s raining and it’s doesn’t wrinkle too badly.

I normally wear a small...I am 5'3" 125 lbs....ordered a small in light birch. Color is a gorgeous light cream (not white) and looks great with the dark buttons. Does run large. Keeping the small as I can fit anything under with room for comfort. Do have to shorten sleeves. Belt could be a little longer for tying at the waist. I agree you might want to size down for a more classic fit. It would be nice if there were more coats to try on in the store for sizing.

I had seen this trench online and then tried it on in the store but they didn't have my size xxs, I liked the fit and look so I ordered it. I am 5ft - 103lbs. The xxs size fits me perfectly (a little loose which I like and the length is great about to my mid/lower calves which is good for those rainy days). I love the elevated look, the material and the colour I selected, white. The tailoring is beautiful which is comparable to other high-end clothing. The material is water repellent. The price range is reasonable as I have looked at other trench coats which are more expensive but style and quality much less. Well done Aritzia!!

Too bulking, purchased a size small; the shoulders are massive, and the belt doesn’t work properly.. overall poor quality. Not satisfied.

This classic trench is everything you want in a mid-weight jacket, quality finishing without the hefty price tag of high-end labels. The luxe considerations like buttons on the loops to keep your belt in place when undone, quality lining and a great balance of heft and drape in the fabric. The fit is slightly over-sized with a drop shoulder and roomy arm/body. If you're seeking more of a classic silhouette, size down but the oversized look feels on trend IMO. Worth the money, this guy will live years in your closet. The tan color is a warm neutral, the grey-er color taupe is cool and bright. Both would serve.

I bought the size medium and I really like it ! I normally wear L coats but the L was a little bit too big. I have a 36DDD cup and I could close it and it was good

Fabric is perfect - enough structure but still soft. Details are great - buttons on back vent to close or open it - tab to keep the belt in the loops even when untied - epaulets are buttoned on not sewn - perfectly belted cuffs. Roomy enough for a bulky sweater underneath - but fit is flattering - not too oversized.

Its a beautiful trench coat and I'm keeping it but I wasnt expecting the fit. It says in the description it follows your contours, it doesnt, its oversized. I'm usually a S but I sized down to an XS to get a more snug look and its still quite big on me. I'd recommend trying this one in store to get the fit you want. Besides that I'm very happy with it.

I am normally a medium but I got this trench in a small and I still have quite enough room. I definitely would suggest sizing down, unless you want more of an oversized fit. The small gives me that exact look without it looking like I'm drowning in it. The fabric is amazing, can't wait to wear it! I am also 5'1 and 145lbs for reference.
