If you can get your hands on them, please do. These skirts are so pretty and well made in my opinion. Yes! They do run small. I’m usually a 0-2 but got these in 4-6 because of my butt. You would want them a bit loose so it helps with movement otherwise you might rip the slit if you sit or walk too fast. So size up if you like to be comfortable. Oh, I’m 5’2 and 120lbs

bought it last minute in pink for the barbie movie in size 4, my usual size. I couldn't get it past my butt, by no means do I have a big butt, but its just significantly tighter in the butt area. When I zipped it it really accentuated my muffin top, runs very small. Got lots of pilling within the few hours of wear, elastic feels a little cheap.

This skirt was a major disappointment. The sizing and cut is so off. I had to go up several sizes and I’m still going to need to need alter it.

Fabric was nice and it fit well, not too big or small. But I went to sit down (as I had already done that day with it on multiple times) and it ripped up the slit :/ it didn’t feel tight in the legs at all but then just ripped suddenly. Honestly a little disappointed with the quality considering it’s price.

I needed a pink skirt for wedding dinner. It’s what I wanted but the material is a bit cheep for how expensive they are. The slit in mine is already broken lol. Fit smaller than usual too yike

The colour is nice but the fabric feels cheap. It’s almost same material as the one I got from Shein and I paid half the price. Fits perfect around the waist but slightly more fitting around the thigh area. The slit area slightly ripped when I was walking. Would not buy again.

Love how the skirt feels and looks. I usually wear a size 2 but went with a size 4, it fit more comfortably

I am a size 6 usually and this dress does not have any stretch in the hips where the seam starts. I tried on an 8 and a 10 and still the skirt was tight around my hips. Not made for the curvier girls so I opted for the same colour midi skirt but without the slit and it’s much more flattering.

Wore this skirt for about 15 minutes while getting ready. I bent over and the slip ripped straight up. It allows little to no movement. It was my typical size but since there is no stretch it is not functional.

The zipper also sticks out weirdly.

I reordered the slip skirt without the slit, hopefully this is a better option.

Ok, IDK why this skirt has such a low review when it is literally perfect! I am 5'5", 115 - 120 lbs, 24" waist, 32" hips. My bottom size is always 4 (except for size 6 in the Melina pant). I got this in my usual size 4 and it fit perfectly! The way it flows, the color (total eclipse), and the feel of the fabric are perfection! The slit gives it a sexy and feminine look too.

I ordered my usual size and it fits around the waist but is terribly tight around the hip area. There is no give and the slit ripped the first time i wore it. Do not recommend, not for the curvier girlies like myself.

This skirt is so beautiful, it fits more of an hourglass figure it's quite small on the waist, with room right at the hips, but then very small at the thighs. The first one I had ripped at the split, but the support team was incredibly helpful and the new one I have hasn't had any issues.

This skirt is beautiful on paper/the hanger/the model. On people with any type of hips or but, it’s I’ll fitting. I tried this in my size (2) and in a bigger size (4). Both fit the same, except the bigger soze had more space around the belly area. I wanted to like this skirt, but every time I moved it felt like it was going to rip apart. Don’t recommend if you are curvy. I bought the silk midi skirt instead and it fits perfectly

Honestly so disappointed in Artizia with this one. It ripped almost immediately after putting on the skirt, and overall just horrific fit around the butt / hips. I feel like even if I sized up twice, it still would fit weird and disproportionately. So unfortunate considering the price.

Great quality and color

I wish I read reviews before I bought this skirt. I sized up because the material has zero give and it ripped within 10 minutes of me wearing it once anyway. Usually I rave about aritzias clothing quality but this skirt is terrible. I’m super disappointed.
Do yourself a favour and don’t buy it.

This skirt looks beautiful on but has a weird fit across the hips( I sized up). The skirt ripped the first time wearing it and I had to get it fixed at a tailor. It ripped again thereafter. Do not recommend.

Purchased this skirt in store without reading reviews because I loved the colour (granita pink). Now I know why it was on sale! The slit ripped nearly all the way up my first time wearing it while walking from dinner. I even sized up to a 6 to accommodate for the slit but it still ripped. I actually have quite narrow hips so was very surprised at the awkward fit of this skirt and the ease with which it ripped. It was not pulling across my hips or legs at all so this was very surprising; obviously this was a poorly designed item. Clearly I am not the only one who's had such issues.

Honestly I'm so disappointed in aritzia for this one. Too tight around the thighs and ass and if you size up there's too much material in the gut area. Slit ripped when I tried it on and I wasn't able to return it. Shame. Love the other silk slips though!!

Ok I’m glad I’m reading these reviews before having a breakdown about the fit of this skirt. When I managed to pull it up, it was so tight across my thighs but gaping at my waist and hips. Very awkward design.
Very disappointed because I wanted to love this skirt and had so many outfits planned. I do not recommend ordering this, sizing up would only make it worse.

The colour, length slit and everything is great. Fits perfect in the waist. However it’s too tight around the thighs. I can barely even sit in it without the fear of it ripping. Unfortunately I will have to return the skirt. It’s important to note that I don’t have wide/thick thighs. I would say I’m average. I probably would need a size 12 just to fit my thighs.

The skirt is cute but after I had it on to go to dinner with friends, the slit ripped when walking up stairs to the restaurant !!! I had just put the skirt on before leaving and now after seeing other reviews I can see I'm not the only one with this issue. Totally not worth 100$ for this skirt

It looks great on, and the slit is classy and not too high. However, it’s narrow in the thigh area, and the first time I wore it the slit split!

Love this skirt. Only downside is that the hemming on the slit is not perfectly straight which makes it look a little low quality. Otherwise, the material and look is perfect for a hot summer night.

I have the other babaton slip skirt exactly like this and shapes my body nicely i’m a 00, or 0 but this just looked so awkward on my body. I thought it wouldn’t be a difference with the other skirt since this is just a slit but not worth it.

A cute skirt with a good slit, but definitely fits small! I am 5'2, ~115lbs and have a bigger butt, and am usually between a 0 and 2 in pants/ skirts from Aritzia. I ordered the 2 and while it fits well in the waist, it is SUPER tight around my legs/butt. I ordered the 'denude' colour, and it is definitely more of a pale pink than it looks in the picture. Will be returning unfortunately :(

I have other silk skirts from Aritzia and usually get a size 4 (my usual size) but the size 4 in this model was TIGHT. I do have good thighs and butt, so you can take that into consideration. I'm 5'4'' and 120lbs. I exchanged my size 4 for a size 6. The cut with the slit is super nice. Length fits nice for my height.
