contour squareneck mini dress

I already own the midi version of the Contour Squareneck Dress in Medium/Black. I love that one, and I ordered a Medium/Green in the mini version. I am usually a small for a majority of Aritzia clothing, but for the Contour line I am a medium as it is more fitted and forms to the body. I would recommend trying it in store, or sizing up. For context, I am about 5'0 and about 123 lbs.

This is just revealing enough without making you feel uncomfortable. I love the length and the fact that it stays put so you aren’t having to pull it down.

First off I love the contour line and this dress is no exception. The material is flattering and the cut is lovely. Not too short on me. It just rides up so much… I am usually a size small and bought an XS based on the reviews. Im glad I did because it’s not too tight at all, but I hate that it rides up. For reference Im 5’3”, 32D, ~120lbs. It’s a final sale item so I’ll have to figure out how to work with it.

This dress is absolutely stunning. It fits like a glove, it’s very flattering, and the rich mocha brown color is absolutely gorgeous. The dress is very versatile, so it can easily be dressed up or down. I will be purchasing more in the future!

The dress was way too short for me. I am tall and it would be flattering if it met my thigh mid way…

I am a huge fan of the bodysuits. When I tried these dresses on, it was more square than snug around the waste. The back was so loose that I checked my bodysuits to see if it was the same size. The description said "Your favourite bodysuit is now a dress" but it is a bigger, looser fit in the waist area. Babaton needs to correct the fitment because it was really bad.

Thankfully Aritzia took my concerns seriously and exchanged for XS. Shouldn't be this way if advertised it's like the bodysuit.

I normally wear 2x-XS in dresses by this brand but since I ordered online I thought I would take advice from the size recommendation. The recommendation was very very wrong. This dress is baggy on me and really long. The quality is top notch but the extra fabric makes me look several pounds heavier. Unfortunately I cannot return because the dresses are final sale. Hopefully I can shrink the dress in hot water. I'm very very disappointed and hope they fix their recommendations. My bust is 36DDD, athletic build, 5'6, and 135lbs.

I was expecting a tighter fit and it really doesnt suck anything in. Maybe contour got me confused but it’s a well made dress.

Look, I used to buy all my clothes at Aritzia and they’d kind of lost my attention in recent years with the shift to so much casual wear but this dress is a GREAT staple. I’m pear shaped and thicker than the Aritzia standard and this dress is just so flattering and hugs everything perfectly. I bought the medium. I might have liked to try a small around the bust for a better compression effect, but the medium is perfect around the hips and the bust still looks good, so I’m keeping it and will wear with a stick on bra. Really looking forward to wearing this on a night out! I feel so cute in it!

This is my fourth contour dress and it's safe to say, I'm obsessed. The dress is very form-fitting. The material stretchy and double-lined. The dress can be dressed up with heels or dressed down with a pair of sneakers. It's the perfect dress for any occasion!

This dress fits so well! As someone who isn’t super confident with my body this hugs in all the right places, is not too short (I’m 5’8 and I could pull it down a couple inches above my knees if I wanted) and you don’t need a bra it holds the girls up. I sized down to an xs but I wear a medium in contour body suits and an xs in most aritzia tops. 5’8, 138lbs, 32C, 26 sized jeans.

After purchasing a contour bodysuit I had to try the contour dress! The fit is body hugging and flattering. Love the chocolate brown tone, I’m 6’ tall and the dress is definitely mini as described but not too short! I will be purchasing in other colours.

I wear a size large for most other stores and brands but usually purchase an XL from Aritzia.

I struggle so much with finding dresses that fit my chest but I decided to size down in this dress and it holds them in place perfectly!! No need to wear a bra, big biddy friendly for sure.

Fits like a glove! I am 5”8 and it’s not too short! It does ride up when I walk so I will half to keep an eye on it.

I love this dress! I was going to get it in black like I usually do for dresses but something about the red changed my mind and I’m super glad I got it overall. The sizing recommendation was accurate (got a large). Wish it was slightly tighter but I feel like if I got the medium it would be too tight. Other than that, the dress looks amazing on me and I might just buy it again in black. Also, was going to get the longer version of this dress but this length is perfect for my height (5’3).

Got the dress in the colour black. I am 5’9 & the length was perfect, not too short. Very flattering, can dress up or down.

This dress is quite good, and i love that it can stretch a bit which makes it fit even better. However, i am a little worried that when i walk in it, it will roll/ride up a bit and i have to pull it down from time to time.
