Very elegant looking, and super flattering.

I love this coat and its the perfect casual but dressed up coat. The length is also perfect on me and I am 5'3. I wish it was thicker though. It looks like it would be more plush, but its not, and you need to layer with it if wearing it in really cold temps. I'm also constantly picking off balls of the material that accumulate after wearing it. Love the style though, so I kept it!

This coat is a nice cut and it drapes beautifully but the positive review stops there. The fabric attracts everything a pills everywhere… any amount of friction and it’s affected. Makes the garment look extremely cheap when it’s not.

I love that this is so cozy, soft and almost feels like a blanket HOWEVER i hate that it sheds. Ordered in light color and fibers stick on my clothing all the time specifically when you wear black. You definitely would have a lint roller handy when you wear this coat.

love the coat - surprisingly good price, beautiful color, and it's nice and warm. i'm usually a small-medium, and went with the extra small, so would advise sizing down!

It’s the most perfect piece to throw over anything. It’s soft and comfortable. I’d love to have it in every color.

I love how soft and cozy it is! And how easy it is to dress it with any outfit, it can be dressed up or down. I’ve only had it for a couple weeks so far but I hope it lasts a long time! It’s a bit long on me because I’m short but I don’t really mind it.

I ordered this jacket after receiving the Charlestown robe jacket for my birthday, and it arriving covered in pils (in the box).
The Charlize jacket is similar in style, without the wrap belt. I love it even more! It has a beautiful drape and looks high end. Received lots of compliments.
It does fit quite oversized. I bought an xs and could have ordered an xxs for a slightly less oversized fit.
My only complaint is that I’ve worn it twice and am seeing it pil in some areas, likely just due to the fabric content.
Even so, it’s a stunning jacket on and can be dressed up or down. The length is perfect to wear with the twin skirt or dresses, and looks great with tall boots. I’ve also worn it with leggings and Chelsea boots on the weekend and still felt elevated and dressy.

I was looking at buying this for months. I knew I would like it, but now that it arrived I actually love it. It’s perfect. Casual or dressy. Fits bigger but doesn’t look bad. It’s prefect. I, 5’7, 120 pounds and bought the xs, I could have ordered the xxs, but the xs is still really good so I’ll keep it. I recommend buying this coat.

This merino boiled wool coat has a nice weight and quality to it.

I have both the cream and black. It’s simple, it’s classy. Just easy to wear, it goes with everything, dress up, dress down.

Looks very nice but size down! I’m 170lbs (5’5 height) and my regular size is L. Size M is still oversized on me and there are enough room for thick sweater.

The fabric feels very cheap. I immediately returned it after I received the order but Aritzia offered a gift card instead of giving a full refund. Such a scam.

I own the Charlize jacket in 2 different colours (oatmeal and black). I picked up a M (fits oversize) and the black in S (more fitted but still allows for sweaters or a hoodie). The wool is soft and worm, it drapes nicely on the body and just looks effortless. Provides warmth up to a zero Celsius so I would say a great early Spring and Fall coat. If you do decide to stick to your proper size, I would expect a bit of a flaring at the bottom of the coat which was eliminated once I sized down in my other one.

I love the texture to this coat . I am 120 lbs 5’6” and size 1 is plenty big enough to wear a sweater and still has the oversized look.

I love it! Honestly this is my third Charlize Jacket that I’ve bought over the last five years… I have it in three different colors and three different sizes! Like how is that possible? I have it in xs, small and medium and I don’t notice that much of a difference in the fit between them except maybe the length and a bit through the shoulders. I’m in love and won’t stop buying this jacket any time soon!

i love the look and fit of this coat, but i was disappointed when it arrived and i realized it was unlined. the product description says it has cotton lining. at this price point, i would expect it to be fully lined, especially for a cold-weather coat.

Bought in the cream and black color both in size XS. This runs very oversized, I am 5'8 135lbs usually wear a small or medium. Definitely size down it will still give you that oversized look. Super cozy and so versatile, I throw on over my yoga set when running around, or over a nicer outfit! Would love to see this in more colors I'm absolutely obsessed!

This coat is my absolute favourite, both casual and dressy. A best for any occasion. Slightly oversized fit allows room for layers. I have both in cream and black color.

I purchased this coat last year. Anything classic and I love I usually purchase a double. However, a noticable problem I have been noticing in most of the coats i purchase from Aritzia. Is thatThey are never the same length as the previous year. Infact they are alsways up to 2" shorter. I am always disappointed and have to return as I love the long coats that I only seem to find at Aritzia. Not sure why they are cutting the length in the same coat. Is that Aritzia's way of dealing with inflation???

Love this coat so much I waited until it was released again in august I purchased every Color expect the white. However I may get that too. Fits beautifully and I get compliments on it all the time. It did very well for a Canadian winter I didn’t need my down jacket once this year.

Love this jacket so much. Can be dressed up or down. Originally bought in bone (size XS) but bought in camel (size S since this was the only one left!) as well. Usually a medium in most clothes but when I tried in store, even XXS fits (like a slim fit) but wanted to be able to layer and wear thicker sweaters with this so went with XS and S. Can’t wear dark colours with the bone colour cause it leaves lint.

5'2' 98lbs and got 2XS. It runs extremely oversized and is slightly overwhelming on my figure. If it was a little smaller I would adore it more but I do appreciate how lightweight it feels for a large wool coat

i have a lot of heavy coats, but this one is light and fluffy. i love the creme color, I am 5ft5 and I got a size S. It runs large so be sure to size down!

I wear this coat every day. I love that it’s unlined. Makes it really comfortable.

Overall look and fit is super pretty. However, small details like the trim and Pilling if the wool will make it look cheap in a short amount of time. After lightly wearing it for only a week, pilling is found underneath arm/sleeves, shoulders or at any point of friction contact.

Totally love this jacket/coat because it was very soft, comfortable and the fit was all I expected. It fits oversized not fitted so wouldn’t recommend to those who like a fitted coat. I sized down because of the reviews saying it was big. Thankfully I did because it fits perfectly, not too big or too small. There is room in the sleeves for a thicker sweater and the length is very good, doesn’t drag.

I think this coat was cute, but was much too large (even though I ordered an XXS), and too thin. It didn’t drape elegantly because it lacked in structure.

I love this coat--I bought the rose color, and it's much more brown than it looks in the picture, which I love. It's nearly ankle length on me, since I'm only 5'3" and that's also ideal for what I wanted. I disagree that it runs big. I bought my usual medium, the small did not hang well over my shoulders or my hips, and I'm not particularly broad shouldered. (34DDD, 38-28-38, I always take a medium in Wilfred tops and coats, and usually take a small in Babaton tops and coats.) My only complaint is that the sleeves are absurdly long--they come nearly all the way over my hands.

I LOOOOVE this coat, but I am 5’8, usually an 8 in pants and a 34DD bra and the XS fits me perfectly oversized.

I’d give it 5 stars for cuteness, but I gave 4 stars because I know anyone who is smaller than me is going to be frustrated with how big this coat runs!

5’3 145 lbs, I originally purchased the small jacket but it was way too big so I returned and sized down to xs. Still oversized but comfortable!

I love the look of the coat but was disappointed when I discovered that the raspberry colour in some lights is quite brown which would not have been my choice.

After searching for a while for a perfect wool coat, I decided to purchase this one in Rich Mocha Brown 2XS. I absolutely love the fit of this coat because I wanted something a little oversized. This is the perfect fit because it's not super oversized or anything. Just enough to be able to layer a hoodie or chunky sweater underneath. I usually purchase an XS or 2XS in tops for reference.
