Short size is a perfect length for 5'3". Normal size for a relaxed look or size down one size for a more cinched waist. Beautiful fabric suitable for a variety of occasions.

They aren't tapered enough. The pant leg from the hip down to the leg has a strange shape that makes me look very short. Not petite friendly and I am 5'1.

I purchased these in tall, and I do like them, but they are still way too short for someone who is 5’11 like me. I wish Aritzia offered taller trousers. I’d buy them all!

Perfect fit, very great material for the summer. I took the tall version and the length is perfect.

The quality of most Aritzia items has gone downhill in the past 5 years, however these pants seem to hold up well. Ordered the long version for 5' 10" height.

I love the shape of this pants, and it’s breathable. The only problem is the size, I usually wear 6-8, and I bought size 8, the waist is tight, only can wear thinner top if I need tack in.

I purchased the black and white carrot pants - size 16. I'm 5'7 and weigh 209 pounds. I was so excited about them stylistically and really wanted to make it work. Unfortunately, the pants pinched my waist too tightly when I sat down and I just couldn't make it make sense to keep them, especially for the price. I usually can wear a 14 comfortably with other brands so beware that these run a bit tight.

P.S., Please include size 16 as an option in the question below. It's a shame that's an oversight.

These pants fit me perfectly. They are fitted but leave enough room for comfort. I highly recommend. For reference Im 5' 4 and 160 lb with a curvy shape.

I’ve received so many compliments whenever I wear these pants. These are my go-to work pants. For my petite girls, the short hits perfectly at the ankle. These are slightly more slimmer fit compared to the effortless pant.

These pants are perfect for work. They fit perfectly high-waisted but have room especially for sitting at the desk in office. The short length is perfect, please bring back the short length asap!! Definitely want to get more colors for spring and summer

Fantastic high waisted fit for a rectangular shape height (5'4") 117 lbs. purchased size 8 to tuck in tops. Enough room without looking baggy in rear and hips. In fact gives me a more curvier shape. Beautiful drape and fabric in Crepette. Considering purchasing the same style in linen.

I wear these to work every day and they're so cute and comfortable.

These are my favorite pants! I’m 4’11” so finding pants that fit me well is hard. I bought the short version and they were perfect. I like how they are tapered at the end so I don’t look like I’m drowning in them. Taking off one star because the sizing runs smaller. I wear a size 2 in the effortless pant and a size 4 in the carrot pant.

These are my favourite Aritzia pants. While thry are somewhat similar, I actually prefer these to the Effortless. The crepe version of these pants are very comfortable and classy for work. They are slightly high-waisted and great for short people.

I love!!!!! They are so comfy and flowy, material is awesome. They don’t crease.

So I have these pants on repeat lol, I always buy it once mine wears out a little. Fits AMAZING, but I did notice that fabric and zipper quality go down a little in comparison to the one I had from last year. I am sad given the price I am paying, however it's still a great quality - just not as before. Looks very nice and professional on and it does last!

I ordered a size 6 and the one that came in was labelled a 6, but sized like a 2-4. I had to exchange it in-store for another 6 that was sized correctly. In general, they fit about a size smaller than the typical pant.

If you’re a corporate petite working lady, these are it. Not the Effortless because I drown in those lol. Please restock all colours and sizes! They go with everything and are so, so comfy. I wear 2 in these and I’m normally a 0.

I have these pants in two other colors (saville and light birch) I got them in black and the waist is much smaller than the other two. I never felt like I had to break the pants in so I might exchange for a size up. Comparing the waist pants of my size 2 new black ones versus my older size 2, the waistband is noticeably smaller.

My new favorite pants. Very flattering, high quality material and doesn’t need any alterations regarding the height, nor the waist.

They were ok, but a bit uncomfortable around the waist for me (but I've had 3 kids). The Amaru pant was more comfortable and looked better on me.

These pants have such a flattering fit on my frame. It's one of the only pants that fit my waist, hips and thighs perfectly. The fabric is excellent quality and maintains well over multiple washes. It wears so well. It's sleek, elegant, and doesn't wrinkle. I have multiple colors. PLEASE MAKE MORE NEUTRAL/BEIGE COLORS ARITZIA. I will buy them all.

Beautiful pants. Great fabric that hangs beautifully. While the legs are generous the waist is very small. Great if that’s your figure type. I used the size guide and determined I was between a 14L / 16L. I went with the 16L and the waist is uncomfortably small. I purchased my color on final sale so I’m increasing my workout schedule 😂

I have to be honest…. I wasn’t too sure how the carrot pants are going to look on me. I needed a pair that is comfortable with some structure and shape. I was curious about these pants and purchased it thinking it may or may not work……I am delighted to report that these are perfectly tailored pants hitting at the ankle. Roomy but NOT baggy. Beautiful flow and movement when I walk. It sits at my waist. I did. Pleated front gives a little formal feel but you can dress it up or down. Wear it with heels, boots, sneakers or flats. It is extremely versatile….can go as formal as you want or as casual as you want. I am 5’5” 127 lbs and got it in size 4 in matte pearl.

These pants fit me perfectly and do not require any hemming. I liked them so much that I purchased both the light birch and black colours for work. They are really easy to wear and really comfortable.

On the whole it is comfortable, stylish and well-fitted.
I expect it to be in fashion for a long while and am glad that I bought it.

I bought these after seeing my daughter look great in these during our busy summer travels. They are perfect for warm weather on the go comfort without sacrificing looking classy.

Love this pant - only downside is the "Long" length isn't long enough (come on, Aritzia! You could do better/longer with your "Long" length).

For all my small waist and large hips people: this pant fits well! I still gotta wear a belt with it but just so it fits a little tighter.

I really like these pants they remind me of the effortless. They are comfy to go on walks or sit for a long while. My main issue with these pants is that they arrive with another like pleat or fold mark where the main fold goes along the middle. It really bothers me and it hasn’t gone away after washes!

I am but curvy, this pant is made for me. Looks much better than effortless pants on me.

Super comfortable, perfect fit and these are the only regular size dress pants that I don't need to alternate the length at all. So sad my size are all gone.

I have these same pants in the re:essential fabric and I love them. I wear a 14 in those, and I sized up to 16 in this fabric because of the reviews. Unfortunately, they run WAY small, like they are actually smaller than the size 14s of the SAME PANT. This is ridiculous.

And of course I can’t actually try any of these pants on in any store in my size (and I live next to a massive flagship store, and in the area of multiple stores) because Aritizia doesn’t deign to actually carry their “extended sizing” in stores. And we all know why that is. The kicker is the colour I got/wanted is final sale, so here we are. Two stars because the colour is nice.

(I say 12 in the “what size did I order” because 14 or 16 is not an option)
