We may provide opportunities for you to participate in our research and development activities as part of our Research Community so that we may better understand you and your interests and to analyze and improve the Service and our business. We do this because we want the Aritzia shopping experience to be fun, inspiring, and interesting. If you are selected to join our Research Community and/or participate in certain of our Research Community activities, we may offer you Aritzia gift cards.
Our Research Community activities may include surveys, collaborative workshops, remote research sessions, and/or shop-alongs. You can opt-in to our Research Community by completing our introductory questionnaire, after which we may contact you to participate in our research activities and receive Aritzia gift cards, and by participating in our research activities.
By participating in our Research Community, you may provide us personal information including:
Contact Data, such as your first and last name and email address.
Profile and Demographic Data, such as your age, gender, city of residence, interests, and preferences.
Payments and Transactional Data, such as your purchase history.
Research Data, such as survey responses (including profession, employment history, devices used), audio and video recorded of our interactions with you and your use of the Service, and any other information you choose to provide.
Device Data, such as general information about your computer or mobile device.
Online Activity Data, such as your activity on a page or screen.
To thank you for joining and/or participating in our Research Community, we may provide you with one or more Aritzia gift cards. The value of a gift card depends on various factors, including but not limited to the following, which collectively is reasonably related to the value of your data: the benefit and insights that we realize and expect to realize from your participation in our research activities (such as shopping preferences and habits); your time spent on the research activities; the quantity and quality of information that you provide to us as described above; sales directly or indirectly generated from participation in the Research Community; your purchase history; and any increased goodwill towards us.
