I bought these because I heard they were comfortable, stylish, and well made. I currently have 3 long strings hanging out of various seams, and one by the front zipper came out entirely and now they look like the zipper is always open. I will have to take them to a tailor to fix it. I have $20 pants from Amazon that don’t have this issue. That being said, if you happen to get a better pair than I did they are really comfortable and cute, until they unravel that is.

These pants are both see-through and smaller than other pants I've purchased by this brand. Not happy.

Took reviews advice an ordered 1 size up - I think they’re fit great and are flattering
Only issue is the white is slightly see through (can see the lining of the pockets)
But I am obsessed with the pants .

If the Effortless is sold out, don’t settle for these guys. My favourite pants the Anyway pant, is no longer being sold and I thought these would be a cute option. No, they’re so unflattering and bunchy because there’s no pockets.. revealing every lump and bump. Wayyyy smaller than other sizes, I’m usually a size 2, but definitely size up one or even two sizes. Not a fan, go for another aritzia pant if you’re set on getting some.

Preferred the effortless

They fit a size smaller then the Alanya and effortless pants. Had to return for a larger size. These for great though.

I got these to see how it would look as I have the effortless! They fit amazing but smaller! I usually wear a size 0 with all my pants from aritzia but I think the rise for these are shorter than the effortless. I got a size 0 in these and the waist fits perfect but the hip and crotch area were sooooo tight. Going to size up!

I debated purchasing the Effortless Pants for two years before finally giving them a try…and the pleats were just not for me. So when I found out Aritzia had the same pant without pleats, I was elated! I am 5’7”, a 12/14, and knew that I wanted a baggier fit. The 14 was too tight across my midsection. The 16 has gaping in the back waist, but they’re comfortable, and I took them to the tailor to bring up the leg about an inch. These pants are a great addition to my wardrobe — plan to wear with cashmere sweaters and platform sneakers!

I purchased both the effortless pant and author pant. The author is my favourite and I’m waiting for more colours to be released. I ordered the short length and I’m 5’5.

Fits very well and the colour is classic.

I’m usually a size 4 when it comes to these kind of pants and they usually fit standardly the way I like. Though grabbed these in a 4 and can say they do fit a tad bit smaller, I’m 5’2 123lb and it fit like a 2. So just a heads up go a size up. Also not so short friendly.

Quality of the pants are great! They’re a bit of a thicker fabric compared to the effortless for reference, though will be great for some colder days.

had to return. Normally I’m a 6 so ordered an 8 to be safe as they were on sale. Still too small. Tried another style in an 8 and they were perfect so this particular style was made very small.

Nice material, pant too big. Usually size 0 bought size 2 according to recommandation and review that the pant fit smaller. Returned it.

Fits a little snug in the hips so may not be ideal if you’re really curvy. Also fits long but not as long as the effortless.

Looks really beautiful! Had to tailor the waist as it was gapping, but other than that really love these pants! Got them in two colors

If this is just supposed to be the effortless pant without the pleats, why is it SO much smaller?? I wear a 0 in the effortless pant so I ordered the same in these but I could barely get them on. Going to exchange for a size 2 and see if that works better. For reference I’m 5’4 and have a ~24 inch waist.

I’m usually a 4 or 6 at Aritzia, tried both the 6 and 8 in these and neither fit, way too small (or extremely baggy when sizing up). Was excited to try these and disappointed, returning both.

Usually a size 2 in Aritzia trousers but sized up to a 4 based on other reviews. They are definitely not baggy, a perfect fit. Got the short version so can’t say if they fit differently than the regular, but they aren’t too high rise, just a little over 10 inches for the rise.

I tried all the Aritzia trousers and these are by far the most flattering, comfortable, and well fitting.
I just wish they had more colors in tall, especially chocolate brown, camel brown, and navy blue. I love them and desperately need more in every color!

I originally purchased the effortless pant but exchanged for author which fits more tailored. I’m 5’4 and 120lb and ordered a size 4 and it fits perfectly. This is a great alternative to the effortless if you want the wide leg look with a bit more hug on your hips and thighs.

These are like the effortless but just a bit more tailored instead of the wide leg feel. In love with the Japanese fabric, and makes you have more of a shape!

Good quality. Run a bit small though

I sized up from an 8 to a 10. I'm a size 29 in the Yoko jeans. The 10s are surprisingly loose, even for my large thighs. The length is good for sneakers and flats on me. I will be getting the pockets sown down because they don't lay flat. It's almost like there's more fabric on the front of the pocket so it bunches up. I may get the waist tailored in the future. The color ardoise is lovely and I have mocha on the way to me!

I am a side 29 denim and between an 8-10 in Aritzia dress pants. I initially tried these in a 10 and they were too small in the waist and hip. I the returned them and tried a 12, which fit virtually identically to the 10. There was also some puckering where the waistband was sewn to the pant. It’s a shame because the mocha sorbet color is gorgeous and the style is nice, but something went wrong with the construction of these pants.

These pants are so flattering! And they fit tall girls! I’m 6’1 and about 155 lbs, usually a true medium. I did have these lengthened (go to the dry cleaners and ask them to adjust the hem, very easy) it added about an inch. They now hang over my feet, with at least a 35in inseam. These would fit anyone around 5’10 without issue

I wish the fabric was more opaque so that the pocket lining wouldn’t show through the pant. Also, I found that the waist line seams and pockets were too bulky in general. I’d go with the Alayna for a more sleek, flattering look. I do think I could’ve gone with a smaller size.

I am very curvy and am normally a size 12 everywhere. These are very true to size and fit like a glove. I have been looking everywhere for the perfect pair of white pants for an upcoming trip, and these are perfect!
