the yoko hi-rise mid-thigh denim short

Bought the a little white lie colour in June and by the end of summer there were holes everywhere - below the fly, along the crotch, the tops of the pockets. I've never seen anything like it. I didn't wear or wash them that much and my other denim forum shorts that I wear more often have held up just fine. If you do buy them (which I don't recommend for the white) size down, fit is loose.

I got them on sale and was worth every penny! Love the fit and so comfortable. I wanted to get the white denim next.

I really wanted to get some longer and darker jean shorts this summer and this pair was exactly what I was looking for. The raw hem keeps it casual. I highly recommend this style.

Runs slightly smaller, I’m normally a 29 in the full length denim form jeans. Had to size up to a 30. Otherwise, fit is great. Rise is super flattering. Definitely recommend.

I wanted to put my 2 cents in because some of the colours are on for 50% off -so final sale and sizing is key. These shorts are a great length for me (5’2”) but due to the 100% cotton -NO STRETCH - I personally went with one size up from my normal Yoko Jean size and I'm SO HAPPY I did. These babies would not be closing had I not. So I’d say they are a size up item due to the fabric not having the Lycra like the normal Yoko’s have. Definitely worth the sale price. For reference I’m 5’2” and 120lbs and I got a size 25.

I bought my average jeans size in denim forum thinking they would fit the same as my jeans but were way tighter. Recommend sizing up but then reading some reviews people are saying to size down? I still love the quality as denim forum is my go-to jean.

I bought my regular size. They do fit a bit big. I love the high waist, great length. I would definitely buy again, but size down.

I love these shorts. I have a hard time finding Jean shorts that will fit my bigger waist and smaller hips as most brands don’t fit right in one of these areas. I like rolling them up for a shorter look. With wear they seem to hug your body.

I read the 2 reviews online here (and the product description) and they both said they run small and to size up. Boy was that wrong. I’m normally a 26 and so I listened to the reviews and the product description and bought a 27 and they’re so big I can fit my entire hand into the waist and more! Now I’m stuck with these Jean shorts that I can never wear and I can’t return them cuz they were on sale. Disappointed in the product reviews and description that led me astray.

I have these in multiple colours and they’re the best!! I do find they run a bit small. I’m usually a 23 in denim forum jeans and the 23 fits but I prefer the 24 fit for these shorts; so maybe size one up from your normal denim forum if you don’t want them so tight. Love otherwise!! For reference I’m 5’3-5’4 and about 100-105 pounds.

Overall they are cute shorts, but unless you have tiny thighs they are so tight on your legs. They run super small.
