the effortless pant™ cropped

I was wanting a pair of effortless pants that would fit my 5’2” frame, without having to get the pants tailored. Aritzia didn’t have navy effortless pants in a petit length, so I tried these. I also sized up so the waist could be a bit more comfortable during the workday. They ended up fitting perfectly, and are very comfortable. The pockets are big, the fabric doesn’t wrinkle, and they just look very polished.

Love these pants! It feels like wearing loungewear while perfect for work and social events. At 5’2 I wear the cropped style as an ankle pant with no altering. True to size for curvy/athletic body, no need to take in waist.

Did Aritzia change its sizing in the last year? I own several varieties of Effortless Pants, and I could barely get these on. I measured the waist against similar pants, and the sizing was way off.

I love the look, but I was hoping for something drape and cool, not something that I felt I had to go up two sizes in to be comfortable.

I bought the pant in store with a grey color and size 8, it is perfect for me! After that, I ordered another black one online, same pant, same size, just different color. However, the waist is too tight for me. I really like the pant and I need it urgently so I ordered it online, but it is disappointing.

I bought 2 pairs of the effortless cropped in regular fit this week. The navy color I bought in-store is the perfect length for me so I ordered the dark olive in the same size, same item number. However when I received the dark olive today, the length hit the floor. I own other 2 pairs of effortless cropped pants and unfortunately the dark olive has the longest inseam. I emailed the concierge hoping they can address the issue. No quality control!!

The crepe fabric and the style are excellent, and the tailoring and construction are high quality. Because they run so small I had to size up two sizes, which meant ordering a set a size up and going through the process of returning them for the next size up (and I bought this with the regal vest, same story there).

I also still have to get them hemmed even though I wanted them an inch or so less cropped than on the model, but I am short enough that they hit me right at my ankle bone. Given the quality/price point, I'd recommend offering petite sizes, or even short-regular-long length options.

Tighter at the waist opposed to the thighs. So everywhere fit okay except the waist and had to size up. Ended up returning.

I love the material and the fit is fantastic!

Bought in Birch Satin and returned for Brich Crepe. They are less revealing, but the pocket is still very obvious through the white. I will hev them removed.

Lovely cropped pants very comfortable and versatile. Perfect for spring summer wear.

Fit on the small side of you like the pleats to sit nicely. I sized up. Quality of the fabric is amazing light weight and comfortable.

Lovely pants for the summer

These are lovely pants; good quality and extremely comfortable. Recommend a pair in your wardrobe.

Unfortunately the sizing is very far off I had to return both. One was in black was large fitting but still small and the green was extremely tight no where near fitting. Disappointed as i own two others and they fit 2 sizes smaller. I’m usually a 4-6 and I got a 8 and they didn’t even do up.

I love the effortless pants I bought 6 months ago so I tried to buy new ones in a different colour. The sizing has changed and I could not find a size that worked for me, I tried multiple sizes and they were too big or too small. Nothing that fit like the ones I currently own.

Fit is true to size. The cropped is perfect ankle length on my 5ft frame. The wide leg is beautiful and flowy. Purchased the black to go with the Deniro vest and it’s perfect.
Will be getting more!

I’m 5’3 and the length of these pants are perfect for me . I tried the effortless pants( not cropped ones) they were a bit long for me but these fit me really well.

The cut of this pant is great, but my god is the rise absolutely horrid (and that goes for a lot of Aritzia pants). I feel like these are automatically uncomfortable because they feel like they're giving me a frontal wedgie. On top of that, I would recommend sizing up. I'm a size 8 and these are very tight around my hips and thighs. Also, if you're 5'3 and order regular, these will basically fit as full length pants (if you're looking a non-crop look).

I have these in black in a 14, but they feel a bit loose with wear. They were out of the 14 in the green so I am going to keep them. It is a really elegant neutral muted green. I typically wear a 12 at aritzia anyway. They are a touch snug in the hips so the pleating doesn't lay quite as smooth, but they snatch my waist really nicely without gaping and are still comfortable to sit in. I have an hour glass figure, with ample thighs and booty (160lbs). If you have a similar body type and are wavering, I'd go a size up. I also wanted the cropped version in the regular length because they hit just at the ankle for me (5'3). I'd love to have more "curvy" fits in their line up.

I carry my weight in my middle (opposite of curvy/hourglass) and am consistently a size 10-12 in pants. I own multiple Banana trousers in a 10 that fit well. These effortless in a 12 dig into my stomach and make sitting at the office uncomfortable, although they fit in the hips and butt and look polished with the pleats at the front. I am keeping the size 12 only because I fell in love with the light green colour and I have no idea if the bigger sizes will be restocked online.

I love the fit of these pants! I have a more curvy figure with smaller waste and bigger bottom and these pants fit me perfectly.
They’re also very comfortable!!

Comfortable, lightweight, breezy, and put together

Wayyy too small. I ALWAYS wear size 12 and it’s always slightly larger so I feel comfortable. I order my size 12, the pants don’t even go up my thighs… it’s ridiculous.

Fabric was nice but fit was definitely off. Would recommend ordering a size or 2 up.

Heads-up, everybody: the color Ashen is NOT as pictured. On screen, it appears to be a mauve tone (somewhere between cool-toned extremely pale lanvender/pink/mauve with grey in it). In reality, it's just a very pale pure grey with no mauve to it other than the pocket lining. Not the color I was seeking, so back it goes.

Fits like a glove and it's such a cute pant. I was afraid I would look bloated since it's tight up in that area but somehow my tummy didn't stick out! Very comfortable and the cropped length was perfect for short girls like me. I didn't have to do any alterations. Overall super happy with my purchase.

I have tried on so many pairs of wide leg pleated trousers on my 5’0” self and something always looks off. I just felt like I was not meant to wear them. Then one day I walked into the store and the amazing person working there helped me find these cropped pair. Not only was the length perfect and full length on me, but I could not believe how flattering they looked at the waist and tummy area. They actually somehow flattened the tummy area for me. Other brand, wide leg pleated trousers did the opposite. I did have to size up. I normally wear a size 6/8 in pants and had to size up to a 10. But boy did these flatter my shape. These are also very high quality and well made. The fabric is very nice and feels soft on my skin.

I am guilty of buying different / cheaper brands to try to get the look of these pants. I tried these on and have never felt more comfortable or confident. BUY THEM. Worth every single penny. Can dress up or down.

I’m 5’5 athletic build with a rounder bottom and they hit right above where my ankle begins. Might get them hemmed one more inch but it’s not a deal breaker. Fits tts. Can’t wait to wear this summer :)

A wardrobe essential. Got it in three colours and wore it in my trip to Dubai , you can definitely dress it up or down.

The length is not cropped for my height. I'm 5feet. It's a floor length.

Received two pairs that both had issues with messy or unwraveling stitching. I didn’t notice on the second pair and now it is too late to return. Fabric feels cheap and the pleat doesn’t really hold its shape. Overall feel like $50 pants and definitely disappointing. The fit is nice though…

These pants are simply the best! Im usually a 4, could wear a 4, but i sized up to a 6 and find it more comfy!

I'm 158cm and curvy build, usually get a 0 or 2 from Aritzia pants. I saw the reviews that mention a Tall cropped version fits perfect for the petites as if it is a regular length, so I got a Tall cropped in 2. However, it was still looking very cropped on me somehow. I tried the regular length in petite size 2 later on, but that was dragging on the floor. The strange thing is their measurements look very similar online, so I am not sure what's wrong. I had to return it. Got an Agency pant in 0 size finally, found that it had a better fit on me but I still will need to trim from length unfortunately.

I wear these pants in black every day to work. I bought these for another neutral and my normal size did not fit. Deeply disappointed in this "new" product. Don't waste your money.

I have trouble finding pants that are the right length since I’m short and the crop fit like a regular length for me. Got in two colors and the white fabric is a good weight, not see thru like most white pants.

All the pants I’ve gotten from Aritzia in this material have had to be re-hemmed within the first couple months, including the effortless pant. Also noticed loose threads and fraying in under a year of wear

I absolutely loved these cropped pants…the length everything was perfect. Unfortunately, just a little too tight in the stomach. The size up wasn’t available! Will definitely reorder in future!

I saw a girl mention getting the cropped-tall version of these pants instead of the regular short version for the same length - since the colour I wanted was sold out. They are not the same length but still super cute. They hit just above my ankles and I wear them with sandals or runners in the summer. For reference, I'm 5'2" and the regular - short version still has to be hemmed.

I don't typically write reviews (good or bad), but these pants are too amazing to not write something! They are absolute perfection. I can bought them for work and have worn them several times, but have also worn them out to dinner and for other occasions. They are incredibly comfortable and flattering. When I first purchased them I wondered if they were a little snug, but decided to stick with the size I ordered because I thought the next size up would be too big. I'm so glad I did because they have loosened just enoughed as I have worn them and they are a lovely fit! I highly recommend these!!

I loved having a summer version of my favourite dress pant! The fit is perfect and the material is lightweight so it's still comfortable to wear to work on those hotter summer days.

I now own these in 3 colours and plan on continuing to add more to my wardrobe. They’re the perfect pant for dressing up or down; effortlessly.

and the style are perfect for me. However it is slightly smaller. I am normally wear 00, but size 0, and 2 fit me better.

Perfect cropped pants for work with in warmer weather. I’m 5’2” and they fall a few inches above my ankle. If you like the Effortless pant, you will like these.
They do seem to run smaller than the full length Effortless pant. I got my normal size and they are definitely tighter in my waist , not enough to go through the hassle of exchanging . But if you’re trying in-store , you may want to try one size up.
