labyrinth short

I have both the old version and current version of Wilfred labyrinth shorts. I got the current version in size 0, vin gris. It runs crazily small. The waist of size 0 is 0.5-0.7" smaller than the old 00. The color also looks nothing like the picture, it actually looks a diluted pink. The shorts I received are also defective - the left leg is longer than the right leg. I got it on final sale so can't exchange or return. Such bad experience, such a waste of money.

Definitely size up! I am a size 8 and I got a size 10 and they fit perfect.

Size is too small. Can’t not exchange.

Nice short but def size up - usually I'm a size 2 and could have gone w a 4.

My second pair of the Labyrinth short. I love this take on the effortless pant. I also really like the style detail of the cuff. Love that these are also washable. Wardrobe staple. If you are between sizes, size up.

Shorts are great, no complaints. HOWEVER.

I am begging you, if this is your first time buying the Wilfred brand, PLEASE take whatever your pants size is in a more standard brand (JCrew, Everlane, Ann Taylor, etc.) AND DOUBLE IT, and that is your Wilfred size. Just trust me. Do yourself a favor. Double your normal size.

I was nervous about how this would look considering the model has a more narrow body shape than I do, but the outcome is really flattering. The shorts definitely aren't as loose in the leg as they are on the model but there is still room and it defines shape nicely at the waist. I was worried the shorts might give safari tour guide vibes and they definitely do not. Easy to dress up or down based on accessories. Only note is that the sizing is slightly inconsistent, I have been exclusively a 4 in all pants/shorts and the 4 in cairo fit perfectly but were noticeably smaller in the blue to the point where I am sizing up. Overall, would recommend.

These shorts are the perfect summer staple. They can be dressed up for work & a night out, or casual with a tank/t. The material is soft and doesn't wrinkle. The wide waist band looks great with a tucked in shirt, or a bodysuit.

Perfect pair of formal shorts for my time capsule wardrobe. Can be dressed up or down. They fit true to size, and are the perfect length. I purchased these shorts in 2 colours and love them. The fabric is also beautiful and does not wrinkle easily. Matches with my Blazer from Aritzia, very happy with these!

NIce shorts, great length, got them in cream and they are super cute. They fit smaller in the bum and waist for I sized up from a 10 to a 12.

Color Cairo is not see through which is good. Normally is a size8 but size up to 10 for a comfortable fit.

Great pair of shorts that can be dressed up and worn more casually. They drape beautifully, and I love the cuff.

I tried on a 4 in the white in store. They were pretty loose on me and I needed a belt. I tried on a 4 in black and they just fit my waist. Sizes aren’t consistent between colours.

Waist fit exact so size up for a more relaxed fit. Love the cuffed bottoms.

Bought the cairo colour. It doesn’t look like the colour in the pictures, but I prefer the actual colour anyway

Love these! Not see-through (vin gris light colour), good length, not boxy, form-fitting but not too tight. Got a size 4 when i sometimes wear size 2 or 4. definitely do NOT size down or it’ll be too tight at waist especially when sitting. good pockets!

Love the shorts but they fit smaller than true size.

Absolutely love these shorts! They are such a flattering length. However they do fit small - I went 1 size up and they fit perfectly. I have a more muscular build so although the small size fit my waist it didn’t fit my legs. Sized up and will just wear a belt or get the waist adjusted!

Love this over the effortless short. The cuffs make them shorts look sophisticated. Good length too. Not to short or long.

These shorts are so flattering!! However, different colours may fit differently. I usually wear size 2 or 4 depending on the style, and I need a 4 in basalt grey and a 2 in black.

I have 3 colours & about to order another 2. These are a million times better than the effortless. The effortless has a super short crotch & not as flattering as these. I’m curvy w/ a small waist & wide hips. These are so pretty & classy. I pair these w sculpt knit square neck & utility or relaxed linen shirt open. Sooo cute you guys! Size 6.

Nice quality fabric and cut to flatter. The style is perfection when you want a dressier short for work or summer fun. I had recurring issues finding the right size. I sometimes wear size 4 in Aritzia pants but move up to a 6 because I don’t like things too snug at my waist. For the Labyrinth short, I needed to go up to an 8. There isn’t much wiggle room. My waist is 27 and I weigh 125. I debated returning for the Effortless short which has a slightly more relaxed fit but ultimately, the cute cuffs and shapely lines of the labyrinth short won me over. Recommend buying in store rather than online so you get the right fit without needing to exchange.

nice fit similar to the effortless short but the inside seams of the folded cuff rubbed against my thighs and were kind of uncomfortable when walking. might size up to account for this, but i returned them.

I ordered a size 6, which is my usual size, based on the sizing chart. It fit but I wanted a slightly looser fit so I sent them back and ordered a size 8. The size 8 are SMALLER than the size 6. I returned those and now the color I want is sold out in size 8 and 10. Sigh. These are beautifully made shorts and the fabric is lovely, but the sizing is really off. I ordered a 10 in another color and keeping fingers crossed that they don’t drown me.

These shorts are so flattering! And the quality is top notch. I ordered the light birch in size 2. Nice relaxed fit through the butt/thighs which is usually an issue for me. For reference my measurements are 26” waist/37.5” hips. The waist is the tiniest bit too loose but I would not size down.

I loved these shorts! They're so cute and very well made, but it ran about a size too small. I would get more, but they're sold out in the next size up. Please restock!

Style is very good, my dream shorts! However runs small, I compared with other size 4 shorts and it's 1 finger smaller, have to return for one size up. Make sure you order one size bigger!
