The Joni High Rise Loose 29L

I HATED these jeans from the second I tried them on. They fit like boot cut jeans and they honestly couldn’t be less flattering. They flattened my butt, looked horrible on my thighs, gaped at the waist. I do not recommend at all.

I’ve tried other brands but I always come back to denim forum the quality is so good it’s definitely worth the price. The Joni is a very comfortable fit without looking baggy and unkempt. They are sturdy and won’t stretch out after 2 wears, definitely recommend.

I love everything about these jeans - the high (but not too high) waist, the snug bum, the slightly baggy legs. They are perfection! I own them in 3 washes, in both the 29L and 32L for different styles. They do run big, so I recommend sizing down at least 1. I’m usually a 26-27 and go for a 25 in these (5’5” / 130lbs for reference). They’re a little snug at first, then they stretch into the perfect fit (exactly as denim should). Even after washes, they relax back into their perfect fit after just a couple hours. I will order these again and again!!

I own the 29L in the picture this blue, and like everyone bought the 24 and realized it loosens quite a bit. So this time I ordered the 32L in the 23 waist, and while it's tight right now I don't feel uncomfortable and know they will loosen up.
As for colour: I bought both the 'Picture this Blue rip' and the '7 years picture this blue rip'. I would say the 7 years picture this blue rip looks more like the 29L Picture this blue (no rip). So I am keeping the Picture This Blue rip because they are lighter and more different than the regular Picture this blue... Hopefully that makes sense...
I'm 5'6 and normally 30L is my go to but 32L looks cool both cuffed and left alone.

Jeans have a relaxed fit at the legs but fits very nicely at the hips. I find they feel more comfortable after a few wears but after wash and hang dry, it takes a few wears again for the fabric to soften. Overall, happy

I’ve had these pants less than a year, and they just got a hole at the corner of the pocket. I do wear them a lot, but I feel like they should still last longer than a year (especially given the price). I also found the fit to be quite loose. I have a 24” waist and ordered the 23s. They’re pretty baggy on me. I really like the look of the jeans other than these issues.

Love the denim and the wash. They look vintage and slightly baggy and so so comfy! These are my second pair just in a slightly darker wash and longer. . Would have gotten the 28 length but I just roll the 29 length. They are seriously my favorite pair of jeans!

The size of these jeans is really all over the place between washes. If you are a certain size in one wash, you might vary as much as two sizes in another wash.

I have 3 pairs of these jeans. I am a true 26 and I own these in 24s and a 27. The 24 and 27 fit the exact same way. You really have to try these on in store and will likely have to size down or up couple of sizes because I truly think every single pair is different. The variation is bizarre to me but when you find the right size for you they're great. Also, mine have absolutely zero stretch. Standing jeans only.

I purchased these in store size 27 and they were perfect! loose and a bit long. But when I got home there was a defect in the stitching. So I returned and purchased online (cause sold out in store). But when I got the online order they were tight and short with a different price tag. Did I get sent the wrong item? If not , Disappointed in the size and length inconsistency.

Amazing nothing else to say, these are my second pair. If you are taller, these will fit you like a glove. 32L hit right at the ankles, perfect length.

I purchased my usual size 27 and it was massive. I received a ripped pair which I didn't order. Returned.

Ordered these in my regular size and could barely get them on - way too tight! Returned and reordered one size bigger only to find these ones are way too loose and falling off!!! What is happening??? This makes no sense. What a waste of time.

These are my favorite jeans! They do fit quite loose so I sized down for a more fitted look. The inseam length difference between the “29L” is annoying. The picture this bleu is 27.5” inseam and the black is actually 29L. If you do the longer inseam, the jeans suddenly have a kick flare. Please fix this!!

Fit and quality are top notch. I’m so happy they came in the 26” length. They are going to be my go to jeans of the season and can’t wait to show them off!

First off - Don't size down in these! I'm very specific with my jeans and these are absolutely true to size. They are the tiniest bit tight, but after an hour or so of wearing they loosen to the perfect fit. The sales associate I spoke to let me know they were remade, so maybe the older version was the one people were sizing down in.
Also, perfect length for tall girlies.

I'm 5'4" and a 135 lbs and I carry my weight in my hips and thighs. I originally got these in a 28 and a 29L but after a few wears they stretched out a lot and wearing a belt with them looked silly because of all the extra fabric. I re-purchased them in a 27 and a 26L and they are much better :)
Once you figure out your size, these are the best jeans. I love how well Denim Forum jeans wear.

I am 140lbs and 5'7 and normally a 26/27 in jeans. I listened to reviews and sized down to a 25 in the black and I couldnt get them over my thighs... i think the black must fit a lot smaller??

Overall a flattering pair of jeans. I normally wear a 26 or 27, but the 25 in these fits me so I'd recommend sizing down.

I'm six feet tall so the 32L looks like a cropped style on me. Still kinda works, but it would be amazing if there was a longer option.

Please make a taller version!! Please!!

Size down 2 sizes for these!!!! i’m a true to size 27 and had to exchange for a 25, and now they fit well they aren’t tight at all they fit perfectly. They do stretch a little bit so you won’t feel suffocated when you’re sitting or bend over. Love these jeans I could wear them everyday!!!

Im 5’9 and I got the 32 L in Picture This Bleu. The length is perfect because it actually goes past my ankles and the material is so comfortable and flattering. I like how it isn’t super tight under the butt

I looove the cut and fit of these jeans. I own four washes now and I hope they never discontinue them. They stretch A LOT in the waist area (especially the belly area), so size down at least one size. My first one I got in my true size and it’s almost unwearable now because it stretches so much that by the end of the day I have a huge bulge on the front that looks very unflattering, but once I sized down it was the perfect fit. At first you’ll think they’re too small, but they stretch out, I promise!

Material has no stretch to them - it's 100% cotton. I was afraid it would feel too uncomfortably restrictive, but I think the loose fit of the legs makes up for the fact that the fabric has no give. In terms of style-- the baggy-ness is just what I was looking for, which was somewhere between straight cut and wide leg.

I like that the jeans came in different lengths. I am only 5'0" tall, and the 26" length fit me perfectly as a full-length jean (as opposed to a cropped length). Saves me a trip to the dry cleaners!
