This jean is AMAZING! I sized down one size from my Levi’s and it was perfect.
I love Agolde, I just wish people would do their research. So many reviews on the 90s jean that say size down multiple sizes, the jeans are meant to be mid/low rise jeans, worn loose and slouchy, not high and tight. So agolde created the 90s pinch because of how people were wearing the original 90s.

Great jeans, love the super high waist. Fit around waist and hips perfectly. But legs are very wide. Too much for my 5'1" frame.

TLDR: waist is bigger in this revival wash than in the black tea.

Bought the agolde balloon (black tea, size 28) and have worn for a month so far (LOVE them, tts!) and they have loosened to measure 29" at the waist and 43" for the hips and are still so flattering! Purchased the same balloon jean in this wash (revival, size 28) and tried them on and the waist is *noticeably* bigger even though they haven't loosened at all, fresh out of the box. The unloosened revival waist measures 30" and the hip is 42.5". Considering they will loosen with wear, I would have to have these taken in at waist by a tailor because they're already unwearable for me even with a belt and considering this wash is more expensive to begin with, these revival balloons will be returned because the waist is simply too big for me. The wash is SO pretty on these though.

Love the look of these, not as exaggerated a balloon as the Agolde ones. I find they are a bit more snug fitting through bum and waist than other denim forum styles that I have. Would highly recommend!

Fits true to size. I like to roll the ends up to keep them slightly tapered. Love wearing the with my boots.
