Utopia Dress

The dress was super itchy and very oversized - not flattering at all!

This dress is beautiful, the material gorgeous and thick....just perfect for winter. I did take off a star because of the fit as it needs a belt to help it from looking too boxy. It fits slightly larger so using their size recommendations failed in this instance :( I wish I had gotten a Medium and perhaps it would fit nicer

Casual and so cute. Fits looser around the waist. Leave unbelted for effortless look or belt for more fitted.

I was worried that the dress would make my body look bulky or boxy, but that wasn't the case at all. It sits on the body really nicely and the fabric is great. The only thing that i was a little surprised about is that the sleeve near the arm pit area is very loose, but I guess it could be the look they are trying to go for. I am usually between a small and a medium depending on the item and I got a small and it fit perfect. A concern I usually have about v-neck items is that it'll be tight about the chest area. I am a 34C, 150 lbs, 5'8"/5"9 and it was a great fit, not tight at all.

Runs really big but very comfy

ive been trying on sweater dresses a bunch this season. this dress isnt very different in that for a person with a slightly elevated BMI + hourglass shape, it's a bit frumpy. i've not tried accessorizing too hard yet, and will give it another go since my return window closed. a bit bummed about keeping it but i suppose now it's an opportunity to make it work. 5'6" 170 lbs 34G UK sizing (not US mall sizing which would try to put me in a DD or something).

the fabric is fine, not terribly soft but not scratchy like most wools or acrylic. it's a good thickness, definitely not lightweight. i wouldn't describe it as heavy, but it's on the thicker side.

Everything about this dress is great, but definitely size down when ordering. I’m 5’7” 134lb, usually between S and M and I had to go with size XS in this case. I got it in green colour and it’s really nice.

Runs big. Typically I’m an xs but bought 2xs. Beautiful dress and perfect length even though I’m only 5 foot 1. Add a belt and some booties and *chef kiss*. Got it in the green colour and it’s super classy.

I love this dress. The fit is really nice, very forgiving. Could be dressed up or down.

Thanks to previous reviews, I ordered a sized down. And it just skims the body with slight hug around the hips... but not too tight that it shows VPL. Its a medium weight soft knit and not sheer. It's perfect. My measurements would normally fit S, I ordered XS. I'm 5'7 and the length is mid-calf. I think if I had ordered my usual small it would have just been too shapeless for my preference.. but if you have curves top and bottom, then I'd go with your usual size. Really nice versatile piece.

I love this sweater dress. I have it in 2 Colors. It is such a versatile piece to have in wardrobe but it’s usually my quick throw on piece with sneakers. So chick!

The Utopia Dress is beautiful, so happy with my purchase.
I will say 1 additional button on the bottom would be nice, I'm 5'8, the last button comes up a bit high. I still wore it but not like the models do in the photo - I couldn't unbutton any buttons, I would have a wardrobe malfunction for sure!

Really good quality! Fits a little big

This dress is very flattering and is good to wear when you are going out for dinner and really hides a good food baby, it fits on the looser side and makes me feel good because I got the small lmao. The only thing is, for a dress of this price Aritzia used to be WAY better quality. Unfortunately, the first time I wore it there were at least 3 noticeable pulls on the threads that I had to singe off with a lighter. I've worn it maybe twice since and the dress went from looking clean and kept to a yarn-like mess. It looks kinda unprofessional now so...

Yarn is super soft and cozy. Pairs great with boots, and ideal for transition between winter and spring. Runs a bit big so I sized down.

Comfy and classy

This dress lays on beautifully. I sized down and it isnt too tight around the armpits/chest area. Length is perfect also. Highly recommend this dress.

I purchased this dress on sale and probably would have returned it if it wasn’t marked down so much (making it final sale). The fit is huge, I’m usually an XS-S with a big bust so I opted for the S just in case. It is big should have stuck with XS , but that’s ok I can still make it work with a belt.
My issue with this dress is the material. It’s very cheap, out of the package has piling. It will be a lot of maintenance and just not worth it for the original price. I have another similar dress from Club Monaco that is worth it due to the high quality material. Would pass on this.

I really liked this dress, however, the material felt like the type of material that would pill and get ruined pretty quickly so I decided to return it. It fits larger, so size down if possible.

LOVEEEE this dress, bought it in the chocolate and black. Super flattering and I’m a curvy gyal! Size down as there is quiet a bit of stretch. If you are short like me 5ft3 this will do down to your mid shin area.

I like that this piece can be worn different ways (as a dress, as a cardigan over jeans and a t-shirt, or as a top over leggings). The fabric is silky soft and cozy. I saw many reviews that this runs large, but I do hold most of my weight in my hips so I went with my usual size and the fit is great!

This garment had no fit or shape, the fabric weight is too heavy for the style so it just hands and pulls at any point on your body. The colour was also not accurate. I matched the garment measurements to my body measurements and it was still much too big

I’m normally a size S in Aritzia but I heard this fits big so I got an XS which fit perfectly. The small would’ve been too oversized

Love this dress! I purchased a M as I did with my Cyprie dress but found it too big in this style and sized down to a S which looks much better.

Would suggest that you order one size down from your usual size.

The size runs rather large. The shape is wide in waste , but narrow at the bottom , very unflattering. I returned it.

Utopia dress (red color) fits beautiful and skims the body perfectly. I sized down from a large to a medium, a very comfortable sexy fit. Yes, I recommend this dress because its very versatile.

Usually L, but sized down and the medium is perfectly cute. Can style up or wear casual.

The fit was quite large, so in the loose cut it became comically large. I liked the style and fabric quality enough that I almost exchanged for another size but the green was, as happens, quite different to what I expected from a computer screen and not flattering. If another colour was available in my size I would have persisted as it’s a nice classic, simple style.

Beautiful fabric and fit. I'm 5'7" 120lbs and I wanted a bit of a closer fit so went with an XS and it's perfect. It's so versatile in black and can definitely be dressed up or down. To me the Utopia has a way nicer fit and feel than the cove.

Super comfortable, not itchy dress/cardigan. Got mine in the Crimson red which is perfect for the holiday season. Definitely size down - I got a 2XS and normally wear a size 2/XS. My only real complaint is the lack of pockets!!! Would be an A+ casual fall/winter dress if it had them.

I’m 5’3” 107pounds and have this dress in black and grey xs. Its beautiful quality. Can also be worn as a long cardi.
