northstar parka Mid-length parka jacket

I like it but it’s not what I was expecting!! The fit is beautiful, elegant but not a warm winter jacket

It's the best parka I have bought. The color isn't the true black. But this black color is more beautiful. the most important merit is

Ordered XS black/black. A+ quality and fit, but I would've gotten a size small if it weren't sold out (so I could wear bulkier sweaters underneath.) But with how warm it feels, probably won't need the extra layers. Standard shipping was also quite fast: it got delivered here (Toronto) within a few days.

The parka fits great (true size). It’s comfortable and warm. However, the zipper on the jacket is a little difficult to close.

I am 5’9 with an athletic build. I can be between a size small and medium, after reading reviews I went with a size small and it fits perfect. Jacket is great quality and has kept me warm during this cold prairie winter. However, the zipper is not the greatest and takes sometime to get use to. It is the only downfall, I wish it was just a little more heavy duty.

For this sale price, this parka is AMAZING. It looks expensive and very good! It is definitely larger than the other Small size parkas like the St. Anton. I have the St. Anton size small that fits perfectly. If I were to buy this again, I would have considered getting the xsmall, but the small size is fine, just a little bit big. I also did notice it is not as warm as my st. Anton. I don't think it has as much down, but it is still an AMAZING parka!! I'm so glad I got it! So stylish and amazing for the price.

Fabric is great. The only thing is the jacket is a little heavier than I thought and preferred. The jacket is beautiful and keeps you very warm even with snow, wind and rain. Love the fabric and the color black is vibrant.

Bought 3 same jacket but missing one. And I was call for Customer service and they were vary kind and very patiently help me to find the missing item. Nice service in this 2020 covid special time !

The fit is definitely snug, I would recommend sizing up. However, a very flattering coat, perfect for Canadian winter! Snug hood lined interior, fur trim is such a great feature. The sleeve caps are my favourite, they run a bit long but really great when cleaning snow off car and keeps hands warm!

I really like it I find it warm and cosy but The only draw back that I find with it is that the zipper is hard to zip up

Love the blue color. The parka is warm and stylish. Love the contrasting hood. But the sizing is off. I am a medium everywhere (previous tna jacket too) but the medium in this jacket runs weirdly small. Its snug from some parts and okay from the others. A large would be too baggy on some parts so what size should have been picked. I wish the sizing was like the usual aritzia/tna jackets and it wouldve been perfect.

This is my second northstar parka. I had an olive one from two years ago and I absolutely love it! This new one is exactly the same as the old one, same quality, same size, just fantastic!

The zipper is very frustrating but other then that it’s good.

I absolutely LOVE my new NorthStar Parka! Such a nice fit with enough room to layer underneath. Definitely recommend if you are in search of a warm coat for our harsh winters!

The NorthStar Parka is a beautiful winter coat. I ordered it in a medium. However, the only issue is the zipper as it’s very stiff when zipping up especially if you’re in a hurry! Really disappointed in the zipper’s quality.

Super like this jacket. Very warm!

I fit xs in the cocoon Wilfred coat, but the small in this parka was nice to give extra room. The hood is quite large and it doesn't adjust so wearing a toque too or if you have a big hairdo maybe that would make it fit better.

The quality of the coat is nice, and it is definitely warm, but I didn't like how puffy it is. In the online photos, it looks more thin and slouchy for a winter coat, but I don't think I'll use it because it's so thick and not very flattering. Unable to return as it was discounted >50%. Other items purchased were nice and very well packaged.

The jacket is super cute. The colour is perfect and as it looks in the pictures. It is warm and definitely will stand the Canadian winter. However, the zipper only works 1/3 of the time. Most times I cannot zip up the jacket and am forced to just fasten the buttons. This would be more of a disappointment if I had not gotten the jacket on sale. But beware if you’re paying full price.

This jacket is SO cute and fits perfect. Only complaint is the zipper is extremely frustrating to zip up.

Its warm and not heavy. Slim fit style is stylish in the winter.

The coat is a big coat, great for layering sweaters for the cold. I love all the pockets are lined and it is designed to keep you warm.

The hood with the faux fur is great at keeping cold air and wind from your face.

The zipper is a bit tricky at first but just make sure you have both zips down all the way. I get so many compliments on this coat!!!

Its a warm parka, bit on the heavier side (expected for a parka) but nothing wrong with this coat.

Really didn’t want to get sick this winter and invested in a good quality parka....I’m so glad I did. Good wind/snow/rain protection and feels very warm. I’ve gotten many compliments and it’s so pretty!

This is my first parka in years and I think I’ll be keeping this ones for years to come

Nice material and very warm for winter

I'm absolutely in love with this parka. I'm a 00, and it's always so hard for me to find winter coats that flatter my figure, because they always fit a little larger than I would like. This parka fits me in such a streamlined way and feels super elegant and classy, and is still very warm and allows me to fit layers underneath if I want. Definitely the best winter jacket I have ever bought!

This is the second time I bought Parka from TNA. Still comfortable with its waterproof and wind proof function.

Really really nice winter coat! Super warm and fits true to size. I usually size up for winter coats to leave room for sweaters and this was really accurate to that. The black hood is also a stylish touch.

Love this jacket. It’s so warm. I’ve been going outside at night with just a t-shirt underneath and I’m still warm. The hood actually stays on my head which I love. The only thing I wish it had are the magnets to keep the flaps closed. Otherwise it was totally worth the price I got it for!

Very nice coat And as I expected.

I love the thick outer fabric, the faux fur inside the hood and the drawstring waist that makes this my favourite coat for winter. I also love that it comes in different colours.

This jacket is absolutely wonderful although I find it runs slightly big. I normally wear a small but could have sized down to an XS. The small I have room still even with a large sweater!

Yes, the zipper can be a little tricky. Ensure you’ve pushed both zippers down to the bottom before zipping up.

Wish the zipper under the chin had a soft covering to prevent chafing.

This is a beautiful jacket! It keeps me very warm and is not heavy which is great! I felt that it ran a little large for a medium, so that is the only reason I went down a star.

I'm addressing some of the reviews I saw while looking to purchase this. Not sure why this is listed as smaller, it's true to size and you can totally wear a bulky sweater underneath (and I have broad shoulders). The only thing I will say is it is long (but I am also 5'3"). Second, the quality is actually really good, really warm. People said the zipper is hard to zip up (and maybe they had a defective jacket, but for me that is literally because it's hard to reach it because the jacket is longer, the zipper ran smoothly.

Overall, great jacket, cute emerald color that is spot on compared to the picture. Great sale price too!

Love it! It's stylish yet warm. Along with others, I have noticed the zipper being a bit finicky, otherwise it a beautiful jacket.

I've had my eye on this parka for a while and when it finally went on sale, there was no better time to buy it! I went in stores to try it on before purchasing. I'm usually either a S or M in a lot of Aritzia clothes so I wasn't sure about which size to order. Glad I went in store to try it on because the M was much looser than expected. I ended up purchasing a small. It hits just above my knees. It's a pretty heavy duty parka and super warm! Feels really luxurious! It also highlights your curves because it is fitted! It doesn't get 5 stars because it is a little tricky to zip up for some reason. But otherwise, love love this parka! The taupe colour is beautiful!
