The material in this short looks, feels and IS extremely cheap, it is embarrassing. After a few wears it looks really worn out and I’m SO disappointed. The fabric and material matters, it looks ugly and shapeless without proper materials! Aritzia is really going downside and after so many years I might be giving up shopping from there anymore.

I wanted to love these, but I unfortunately regret the purchase. The sizing is so inconsistent from other items I have bought, and do not find them comfortable to wear.

I'm usually a size 12. I ordered a 14 to have a more relaxed fit. These were so tight on my thighs and the crotch area...3 inches is really shorter than I thought. I definitively will order the effortless in 5 inches.

I immediately noticed these on a sales associate in Tysons and opted to order/ship due to the long fitting room wait time. I'm 140-145#, 5'3", 29/30 denim, d cup and typically wear a size 8 and ordered an 8 after the suggested size chart recommendation. The size 8 was a bit snug (due to high waist) and with the longer zipper, the lower torso was highlighted. I reordered a size 10 which I prefer a bit of wiggle room. The fabric is luxe (no wrinkling, thick silk texture). I hope to add more to my wardrobe collection!

Runs true to size, I got a size 0. Perfect for someone like me who has a small waist and slightly. curvier hips. Most shorts with more shapely hips tend to have large waistlines. Not these, they're just right!

This is the best pair of shorts I have ever purchased. The fabric is light but doesn't wrinkle easily and has great sized pockets. They also fit like a dream! I took my measurements before choosing my size and I've never had shorts that fit me better.

Have multiple pairs of anthem shorts and love how they flare just enough between the waist and leg to flatter your figure. The length also elongates your legs! As for sizing I am a 0/2 in effortless but can do 2 or 4 in anthem depending on how tight you want it)

Honestly i was so excited for these shorts but i don't know if these shorts were mislabelled or what? Because i am usually, these days, a size 8 and i ordered a 10 for a bit more room. I couldn't even do them up which was very disheartening. My roommate tried them on and she's a size 4 and they just fit her... a size 10 fit a size 4. Sadly, this isn't the first time this has happened with Aritzia bottoms. Anyway, I will be returning but this seems to be a continued theme with Aritzia clothing lately. I ended up ordering different shorts in a bigger size because they were sold out in my size and this way i can get them taken in to fit me perfectly. still sad though.

I ordered these in brown and instantly fell in love. However, after the first wash the material started coming apart. I was so obsessed with these shorts I even air dried it. It started developing those bumps your clothing usually gets after years of washing. I could not believe it!! I heard a lot of great things about the Aritzia brand and never spent this much on shorts before. I was going to buy a bunch of other colors but definitely won’t anymore. I have the black Babaton wool shorts and those are amazing. These are extremely poor quality.

These just did not fit me well. The zipper is very long, and in order to wear the shorts high enough so that the zipper lays flat means my butt is hanging out the bottom of the shorts. Just not flattering. The Babaton Agency shorts are way better. Nicer material too (the machine washable ones).

These are cute, no doubt, but they are so small. I couldn't even them up or get them closed enough to use the hooks.

Fits so well. Not too long, not too short. Form fitting and modest enough to wear to meet the parents, but cute enough to wear out to a night out.

I typically wear Wilfred in size 6. Got these shorts in size 6 and they were a little snug. I compared with my wilfred pants and I would say shorts are half an inch smaller in waist. Other than that the quality is superb.
I see mixed reviews in saying size up or size down. Maybe not consistent with sizing???

These are great to dress up or down, they're very comfortable, and the length is flattering on my medium build (5'6, 145lb). They don't ride up as I walk. I have trouble sizing because my hips need a bigger size than my waist and I'm between a 6 and an 8 in bottoms. These work in the 8, though I could definitely tailor the waist a bit smaller.

These run large. I am usually a 2 sometimes a 0 in bottoms and the 0 was too big for me. The birch colour is also super see through, and has big pockets which you can see the full outline of. Not worth the money in my opinion.

These are very cute and flattering. I also sized down and they sit at the waist perfectly. The length is perfect too. I can’t wait to style these for vacation with some cute tops!

You can dress this up or wear it more casual. Perfect fit, true to size. Looks and feels like great quality!

The material is very nice- thick and drapes nicely. However these run very large- at least a size too big. Had to return. I’m usually a size 2- 5’2” 103 lbs

Sized down for these and they’re still a bit big, but very comfortable shorts and highly recommend for anyone looking for fancier shorts that could be dressed up or down!

I love love LOVE these shorts. i had been looking for a pair of nice, tailored shorts in lieu of the typical cut off denim shorts. These look tailored, the fabric is light and I feel put together when I wear them. The only downside is they wrinkle when you sit. So if you steam them, by the time you sit in your car and drive to your destination you will have creases in the shorts. May not have purchased if I had known this but I still wear them nontheless and purchased them in white as well. I am normally a size 2 in the AUSTIN pant and fit these in a size 4.

They fit big in the waist I’m normally a size 4 and small in everything at aritzia. I have to get them altered a bit.
But there’s very cute I got them in the cream colour.

i purchased a size down and they fit much better. good fabric and a nice length. i haven't washed them yet but i hope they hold up!

These shorts are just what I wanted. I got them in genuine brown and it's such a nice color. The fit is perfect and they're really flattering. The fabric is also so nice. They're so good I may consider buying 1 or 2 more in different colors.

I’m 5’6 and mostly legs, so I find these shorts to be a bit too short but I’m not bothered by it. These are so lovely and you can dress them up or down!

I have these in white and black. The white isn't sheer which itself warrants 5 stars. I'm usually between a size 4 and 6 but and purchased a 6 based on reviews. I somewhat regret my decision after purchasing a size 4 in a different colour. The 4 fits better at the waist and feels more tailored whereas the 6 is looser (luckily doesn't look frumpy) which makes it slightly easier to tuck a thicker top in.

I'm usually a Small or Size 2 in Aritzia but these shorts were huge on me. Size down!!

love these trouser shorts. they fit perfectly on my petite frame, i am 4'11 and weigh 90 pounds. I wore them and got so many compliments !

I was really excited to receive these shorts and I was very disappointed that they were too big. I wear 00 at aritzia and the clothes usually fit perfectly but the anthem shorts were too big. Definitely should size down. In my situation I can't because 00 is the smallest size. The color is very beautiful though.

These shorts are FAB. I initially bought a 10 based on reviews but they were much too big so I returned and got an 8 which fit perfectly. I’m 5’3 and usually a 28 in jeans, I have hips and a bum and these shorts are very flattering. They aren’t too short and they don’t ride up when you walk! They don’t wrinkle and look great dressed up or down. 10/10 recommend!! I got black but am definitely going to buy other colours!

Love the colour of the Light Birch shorts. Definitely not sheer either! The fit is slightly larger than my usual 2, could have probably done with a 0 but love having some extra room to tuck in blouses/breathe!

Simple fit, not to long or short. High waisted. Nice material, so the price makes sense. Works if you want something more sophisticated than Jean shorts. Fits larger so size down, I’m normally a size 2-4 in aritzia pants and I got a size 2. (I’m a Levi’s size 26 for reference).

These shorts gapped at the waist on me. They sit at the true waist. They fit well everywhere else, but due to the waist gap, they looked ill-fitting. I am 5'0, 95lbs with a 25" waist measurement. I ordered the 00 in the Genuine Brown. The color was great.

These shorts are super flattering and comfortable. I would say they fit much larger, according to the size chart I should be a size 8, however 8 was way too big and I ended up going with a size 4 and they fit great. I am 5'3 120lb. for reference
