tempest blouse

All my Aritzia clothes are extra extra small, I ordered the same size for this one. There is no way I can put it on. It is final sale, I do not know what to do with it. why the size is not uniform, how can we know which size fit us since we are shopping online? So disappointed

Not sure why this Tempest blouse fits so much differently than my previous one. The one I bought before is labeled as article #102531 and it fits perfectly in size Medium. I bought from this product page in the color Frozen Grey which has an article #73624.

The color is gorgeous so I'm super disappointed I had to return it, but the fit was completely different despite also being a medium. It was very loose and lumpy on me, with a lot of excess fabric. Not slim at all. The bottom of the back also flips up/rides up. I would try a size down but then I think it would be too short :/

I really wanted to love this shirt; let’s face it it’s beautiful, but it’s too short and I am not a tall person. For $128 I was hoping for a full shirt.

I got this shirt in the floral print, its very pretty, beautiful quality.. the shirt is lined with a zip back but I am a gal who looks a full length shirt!! Looks great with really high waisted pants but would be even better if it was a little longer.

Very flattering blouse! But if you have wide shoulders like me then size up! I usually wear L but bought XL for my shoulders.

I bought this too about 4 months ago and hav ñe been very cautious about washing as the fabric is very delicate and snags very easily. Even though I’ve been washing it on gentle in a laundry bag and hang drying, the thread on the sleeves is coming undone and will need to be repaired in order to keep the ruching intact. For the price, I’m pretty annoyed that the shirt is already coming apart and I’m going to have to spend even more money to get someone to fix it so I can keep wearing it. I’ve had the same issue with a pair of babaton trousers I bought the same day except the hem has completely fallen out of the pant leg. It might be worth the money if they were charging under $50 but at these prices, I’d say shop elsewhere.

The fabric and pattern are just beautiful. They elevate a pair of jeans, or pair with my trousers nicely. The only problem is that the cut is very short. Unless you have really high waisted pants, you can’t get away with wearing it to work - unfortunately.

I would like to give a 10/10

It’s a nice top but it’s hard to avoid getting snags and runs in the sheer sleeves. It also creates a serious muffin top with most pants I try and pair it with because of how form fitting the smocked fabric is. Overall, due to the fragility of the material and how fussy it feels to try and make it look good, I wouldn’t pay full price for it again.

Timeless look, so cute, light and classic. Love the fit. True to size and the zipper at the back is a lifesaver for slipping into this top.

The overall design of the blouse is really nice but wished it was longer on the torso and not as cropped.

Flattering, perfect for work or out for dinner. A bit shorter than anticipated but can be worn to work with ultra high waisted pants !

All I need is an inch. Even with high waisted it’s not near my waist. I needed this for work!! I would’ve got much more use of it being able to wear it to work so I am bumped that this isn’t an option with this shirt.

This noise is so beautiful, with many colour choices. It does fit a little shorter than I would like since I don’t want my stomach out. With the right high rise pant it look stunning.

I absolutely love this shirt! Despite it being long sleeved, the sleeves are lightweight so it's great blouse for all seasons. Definitely want to get more colors

Overall beautiful blouse. Just come components I wish were fixed. The elastic around the wrist at the end of the sleeve is too loose, so the sleeves are mostly falling down. When I tried the blouse on in the store, this wasn't an issue, I ordered the blouse online after deciding that I wanted it. I bought a size medium (my bra size is 30F) and it fits perfectly. The shirt is a bit cropped even with high waisted jeans, but it's not a major concern. Also there are these shoulder pads that give the sleeves extra elevation, they are cute but wasn't expecting them. I will be keeping the shirt but I recommend trying this on in person if you are particular on how clothes fit.

I love this blouse so much, but it was about an inch too short. I wanted it to sit right at the top of high waisted jeans. The print was beautiful, but sadly had to return. Would love Aritzia to make a "tall" version!

This top is absoltuely gorgeous. My only complaint is that it is shorter than I anticipated. I don’t consider myself to have a long torso, but the bottom of the shirt barely came to my bellybutton. Keeping the size small because the arms would have been too loose in a larger size!

Sized up to an M from my usual S because of the length of the shirt. It's a lovely shirt, but wish it was a bit longer still. Even the M sits a bit above my waist, and I'm really short. Overall really happy with it and like the look.

Whenever I wear this top I always get complimented. Im usually a S but I sized up to a M because I wanted the top to be less cropped, im petite .

Comfy bodice and fits well. The sleeves don’t puff too much so it doesn’t accentuate your shoulders. Only thing tricky thing is where it falls at the waist. I’m 5,9 and it’s hard to wear high waisted pants, they have to me more low rise

Very fitted body of the top, sleeves slightly puffed and full. Very nicely made, good quality , lovely winter white colour. Looks elegant with my high waisted pleated skirt

This is a beautiful piece - the price is definitely kind of high but it is gorgeous. Sleeves and body are in the short side but I’m 6ft tall (160 pounds) so I have very long limbs. This goes well with high waisted bottoms and the sleeves hit me a couple inches above my wrist. My main complaint is the seams joining the sheer fabric to the body are extremely itchy for some reason. I got this in a size medium - the dark red colour is beautiful!

I ordered am medium and large to try, kept the large as it was a bit longer and more forgiving if you plan to wear while eating and drinking. I am between a size 8-10 in most clothing. 5’9

I own this blouse in a few different colours and prints. I usually pair this with skirts and high waisted pants. It is slightly cropped and hits at the most flattering point of my waist. This is very similar to the top of the Rosalyn dress. I often pair these blouses with the coordinating colour in the twirl skirts!

This top is so beautiful. It runs a little small. I usually wear S or XS in tops but I have a S. I'm a 32C and my shoulder are on the broader side.

If you have narrower shoulders size down! The size small was too big across the shoulders and the smocked section looked very loose and bumpy. XS fits perfectly!

Fit: A little smaller than I expected it to be. I'm glad I was able to purchase this in-store, so I could get the best fit for me. I'm usually a size XS to S, but I bought a M. This blouse is cropped and while I feel that this would have looked amazing without being cropped, with the right high-waisted bottoms, this looks amazing!

Fabric: Very soft, comfortable, and almost slightly silky to the touch for the arms! The flowy material for the arms do not make me feel itchy at all. The body fabric is more form-fitting and has a zip in the back. I'm not sure why the zip was necessary in the design, but it does not show when zipped up. Since I sized up to a M, the arms are a lot flowier (which I love) and the body lumps up in certain areas if it is not pulled down/adjusted. Just a minor thing, but please keep this in mind when deciding on a size for yourself.

Quality: Absolutely amazing, thicker material that feels like it will last! It makes me feel elegant and can be dressed up or worn casually. Very flattering piece that is a must in anyone's collection!

I love the look of this shirt, however, I didn't realize that it was cropped when I got it. the sleeves are beautiful. also, I feel like the neckline is a bit big? Even with the zipper up

I tried this blouse on in both an XS and S and didn't notice much of a difference except in the shoulders, and I kept the S. It's fitted through the body and the length hits perfectly with any number of high rise bottoms. I made one DIY alteration tho. I trimmed the ruffled edge around the neckline. I thought that the volume in the sleeves coupled with the ruffled edge bottom was "drama" enough. The neckline is now perfect and the overall balance is better.

Kinda short but it works for petite girls like myself.

Bought this on final sale. Sized up because all the reviews said to and it's too big. Would recommend sticking with your regular size.

Blouse is very elegant and comfortable to wear. I was concerned that the sleeves would tear easily since they're very thin, but I saw no damage after a few wears. The torso area runs a bit small, so I sized up to a L (usually M).

Runs a lot smaller. I have a DDD bust and sized up to xl to fit nicely and not too tight

Never really a blouse girl but I will never regret buying this Tempest blouse (in black). It's so versatile: goes well with jeans and skirt. It is so elegant and sexy in a subtle way. As for the fit, my measurements are 32DD-25-35 and the small fits perfectly. However, a friendly reminder is that this is a crop fit. As a person with a short torso and a love for high rise bottoms, this blouse is simply perfect.
