Great pants, comfortable, true to size. The bottom is slightly a balloon style but the waist does snatch you up.

don't buy, you are wasting your money, with this price I would expect better quality

If you're planning to purchase this because you think it being 100% wool will make it thick and warm, don't. It's a very thin, somewhat scratchy type of wool that will let wind through and poke at your legs. when they said "basketweave texture", they really meant it. There's no inner lining, so there is no protection against that and your skin.

I sized up to a 6 because most other Babaton slacks I've tried have been uber tight on my waist (27in, normally size 4 in both TNA and Wilfred and other brands outside Aritzia--am a size 6 in the Babaton Pleated pant), but it turned out to be too big so I'm guessing this pant is more true to size.

There's a weird sturdy lil stitch that closes in the bottom opening of the pocket, which feels like nice quality but it has the effect of giving you hip dips. The barrel shape of the pant starts small and gets wider, and then theres a random dip in the shape at the hip area, and then the rest of the pant gets wider before shrinking down to the foot. Because of this awkward stitch, even someone who has negative hips like I do kinda feel restricted in that area. I don't know if this is a pant for those with wide hips, maybe a good one for the girlies with thicc thighs/calves instead. The shape of the pant otherwise reminds me of the Everlane utility barrel pants (which i loooveeeeeee so much), except in the fact that this is more high rise, has a longer inseam, and the leg opening is wider/baggier. If you're looking for a professional pant, I'm unsure if this will look the part.

One more complaint is that the back pockets are hardly back pockets at all. They can barely stuff a credit card in em, much like the Babaton Pleated pants and Wilfred Effortless, though maybe that's just an Aritzia pants thing.

The length of the pants is fine, I'm 5'7.5" and the length goes all the way down to my shoe. However, it's a little too high rise. Since I got a size too big, the crotch area kinda just hangs too low and makes it look awkward like I have an ultra long torso.

All in all, maybe get this if you like this style, you're looking for a breathable pant, and have a long-ish torso. try getting your usual size. I'd recommend just trying it in store before deciding if you want it. im kinda SALTY this is final sale and maybe id like it better with a smaller size but this pant is just awkward :( girlies do the math & don take the risk if u dont have to
