holiday coat

Been eyeing this coat for a while. Finally decided to go ahead and get the brown coat.

Out of the box it was BEAUTIFUL.

After the first wear, it was a magnet for everything. The coat had already pilled tremendously after about 3-4 wears (didn’t even wear it for long).I wouldn’t recommend it.

The cost came in used and dirty looking with lint all over it it was also crinkled I went in 2 days after to return it to the store they told me I can only get store credit

The coat is beautiful but so big for me, I have to adjust the bottoms so I can use it, I cannot return as it’s final sale. If it a perfect size for me, definitely will get a lot of compliments as coat is lovely! This is my six Aritzia coat/jackets.

Great coat, I love the colour wish I sized down but current size gives an oversized look.

I’ve been enjoying this coat so much! Would highly recommend sizing down as I’m usually a size medium but it felt like a large. Ended up getting a small in this particular style of coat.

I love this coat so much! It’s amazing quality and it’s large enough to wear a sweater under it and still be “oversized”. Also I got this coat for a steal at $198. Honestly this coat is worth more than the full price.

I am really enjoying this coat! It is very good to throw together a nice outfit, and is pretty warm as well for early winter weather. So far I’m loving it.

Good quality wool coat but the fit is weird and wouldn’t buy again.

The coat looks really nice— has a slouchy fit, but the belt makes it look refined. However, the website said the coat was rated to -20C and the coat arrived with a label that said it was only rated to -10c. That’s a big difference in wearability through the winter. It still serves my purposes but unfortunately means it isn’t as useful as it should be.

Additionally the fabric isn’t that soft. Was expecting something more like the Slouch coat fabric which is super soft but this is stiffer and scratchier.

This coat is nice with the belt. Not as warm as I thought though.

I was looking forward to having a lined boiled wool coat, as I got the Acre robe last year and it was so soft and cozy, just unlined, I got the holiday coat on sale, and I guess I know why it was marked down. The good: Fits TTS. I'm an XS in Aritzia wool coats and this is consistent. Love the pockets and the tie belt and it does feel thick. Cons: The wool must be a cheaper quality than last year's as the boiled texture is still coarse. It's the only thing I don't like, which is tough because fabric is 99% of the attributes of a garment.

I bought this coat last Friday and I love it so much. I’m 5’5 and about 102 pounds. I ordered 2XS and it fits perfectly oversized. If you have long arms like me, you won’t have issues with this one. Happy shopping :)

I have an athletic build and broader shoulders so thought for sure the medium would work for me. I was swimming in it. Sad to return as they are now sold out of the birch color I wanted.

this coat does fit a bit larger than expected - I'm usually a S/M and ordered an S, it's definitely a loose fit but I don't mind, it will be great for layering! The material is on the rougher side since it's 100% wool but I LOVE that the belt is removable!

This coat was everything I was looking for. Beautiful quality and looks. The 100% wool is gorgeous and the length works well even being petite in height and size. I had ordered two other wool blend coats from other retailers and had to return them. They just looked and felt so cheap by comparison. This is a coat that is timeless and will last a long time. It is worth the investment for a good wool coat. Even better if you can get it on sale.

Can confirm that this coat is good for petites. I'm 5'0 and purchased the XXS (usual size XS). The XXS is still a little roomy but it's perfect for wearing extra layers underneath. Overall, such a beautiful coat!

Oh my god?! I just got this in today- I've been on a hunt for the perfect winter coat, I bought the stedman last year and ended up selling it because it was too big, bulky and long (even buying the XXS) but this - it fits AMAZING, I bought an XS I'm usually XS-S 5'2" 118lbs and this hits at the perfect length on me and it is sooo flattering. I love the belt! I was kind of nervous purchasing this as there was only 2 other reviews but I did want to leave a review as soon as I tried it on - so if you're thinking about it, just get it! I love it.

I found the sleeves and shoulders to be a bit large. I own a montage coat size M and it's true to size. For the Holiday Coat I might be size small maybe. The sleeves have a relaxed fit/oversized look

I have almost all of the coats from the Babaton line, this coat is absolutely beautiful. Material is lovely, fit is perfect. It's the perfect combo of long, sloughy (slightly) but also fitted! I would buy more if there were more colours! This coat is trendy right now but also timeless!
