This is a fully fashioned V-neck cardigan with dropped shoulders for a roomy fit. It’s knit with Embrace Merino™ — extra-fine 100% merino wool yarn coveted for its natural warmth and super soft feel. We source ours from a premium Italian mill. This version is constructed using a Half Cardigan stitch with vertical ribs for a textural look and feel.

  • Origin: Yarn from Italy
  • Content: 100% merino wool; Trim: 97% merino wool, 2% other fibre, 1% elastane
  • Care: Keep a good thing going by giving this knitwear the care it deserves:
    • Prolong the life of your knitwear by washing less often.
    • When needed, hand wash in cold water using mild detergent specially formulated for knitwear. Steer clear of fabric softeners.
    • Rinse well after washing, but avoid ringing. Gently roll the garment in a towel to remove any excess water.
    • Reshape your garment while still damp, and dry on a flat surface.
    • Store your knitwear folded to prevent stretching.
    • If pilling occurs, use a sweater comb or sweater stone to gently remove pills.

Beautiful, but cannot be washed
This was my favourite sweater. Beautiful drape and quality. Then I washed it. Gentle cycle, cold water, air dried, just like I do for all my wool prices. It shrunk so small that I gave it to my 8 year old niece. I wish I could buy it again, but I don’t want to waste my money again.

Storybook to Live in
I absolutely love this sweater. Paired with the rythym jumper and some uggs or even Conan pants and loafers I could lounge in the house with this or wear it to the office
My 2nd storybook cardigan loved it so much needed a 2nd Color.

Good cardigan!
For all the girls thinking of buying this cardigan: it's really worth it! I tried to wash it without any problem. The secret: use a detergent designed for merino wool (found on Amazon for about ten dollars). It's the best way to keep real wool durable.

Shrinks a lot :(
This was my favorite cardigan and I’ve had this for about a month now and I don’t normally write reviews but I went back to this cardigan after washing it for the first time since I’ve had it and it shrunk like crazy. My experience is similar to the most recent review and I’m so sad that this cost me so much yet it shrank like crazy. Did a cold wash and air dry too. It’s just really disappointing spending so much money on clothes you hope would last a while due to the price just for it to shrink after one wash.

Crazy shrinkage!
Usual size is 2XS. Decided to size up for a more relaxed look.
Washed with cold water on delicate (usually fine with all my knit wear). No dryer used.
Mild detergent and no fabric softener.
It shrank to a child's size! With one wash!! Never happened with any other Aritzia sweater.

Most underrated cardigan at Aritzia
This is a beautiful piece. I love that it’s less oversized than the unwind but still long enough to cover your butt. It buttons up which is nice, but I don’t kinda wish it had pockets. That being said pockets add a lot of bulk in this type of knit so I think it does give a slimmer profile compared to unwind. The Heather birch is stunning. Yes, it pills a little but nothing more than expected for Aritzia wool. Measurements 37-29-39, I got a small which is my usual size in Aritzia oversized pieces.
