This would have been the perfect skort but unfortunately it has a major design flaw. Where the material meets the elastic band in the back, the material folds up after even just taking a few steps. You can even see it in a few of the photos of the models on the website to some extent (but not nearly as bad as it was happening to me). Too bad because the fit and colors of this skirt were so cute. I hope Aritzia realizes their mistake and fixes it! Would have LOVED this skirt otherwise and would have bought many colors.

perfect fit and long lasting

This was so close to being perfect. Everything else about the skirt is adorable. The fit, the right amount of pleat, the length. But if you’re using this to play tennis, the skirt will occasionally flap up and everyone will see everything.

It’s a nice simple black miniskirt and I love that it has shorts and a pocket! I’m quite short and the skirt barely covers everything so keep that in mind if you’re taller.

I wanted to love this skirt so much, I purchased a size bigger to avoid the short showing in the back I had to place an online order since they didn’t have my size in store. The moment you walk the skirt rides all the way up not designed properly at all so disappointed I can’t return anymore .

I love this skirt…but it does have its flaws. For one it’s super short. I’m 5’1 and wouldn’t recommend to anyone over 5’3 or girls not comfortable with super short skirts. The waist band also rides up a little when you walk but it’s not noticeable. My regular size for fine (I’m 110 and wear a 24/25) but I think sizing up could help with length and waits band issues. Overall would recommend buying at a sale price.

I'm 5ft9 and purchased 2 mediums. 1 in a beautiful electric blue (don't think it is sold online) and 1 in black. Trying it on quick, it looks great in the mirror. But the minute I walk in it, the back of the skirt where the elastic meets the skirt material just slides up. So there's like a weird 'scrunch'. I'm constantly having to pull the skirt down. I still wore it because I like the fit... but then the sewing that attaches the elastic part came off the black pair. Now I'm scared it happens to the blue pair. Eurgh... really poor quality for a 68$ skirt.

Skirt is too short in the back and keeps riding up. Waist fits good. Good material.

Where the waist band meets the skirt it kind of flaps up a bit when I wear it, which to me looks a little strange. I thought maybe I got a defected product, but when I checked online I saw it was on the models as well in all the colours. So I’m not sure if it’s intentional or not? Maybe it’s the style? I find it looks like it’s riding up, which I don’t think is a good look.

It is a micro skirt (supposed to be shorter than a mini), so the length is good for me. It’s just the flappy thing that bugs me and looks like a design error

This skirt is very cute and comfortable but it is too short. I am 410 and it's still too short that it shows the shorts underneath.

I bought a size medium and the front fit fine, but my entire butt was hanging out of the back. Medium is my usual size, I can't do a large or else the waist will be too big. If you have a larger than average butt - I don't recommend buying the micro skirt - but maybe the longer version of it. I wanted to love this but had to return :(

This is the perfect summer item. Lovely shorts underneath and won’t blow up in the wind. Ideal for shorter people. I sized up to medium as I don’t like tight bands on my waist. It also bunches up if too tight. Bought it in three colours.

It fits overall true to size. It’s so cute and I love how there’s built in shorts, they’re so comfy. Love love love!!!

For reference I am 5’2 100lbs, I love the fit of this skirt!! Super comfortable and amazing look, I have bought 4 of them already. I always get compliments when I wear it. Keep in mind it is very short but it has built in shorts and the fabric is amazing

I am 5’8 and a size 25” waist, and I got size XS. It has the perfect a-line that I wanted and I love how short it is! So cute!

If you have long legs or especially a big bum, you will
most likely not fit this skirt. The shorts go further then the skirt itself and there is not enough fabric to comfortably cover my butt and thighs.

It's so short that the shorts underneath are completely visible the entire time wearing. Looks really stupid. I understand its a micro skort but I cannot think of single place where that look would be fine. It just looks ill fitting.

The skirt fits quite snug in the waist, but not in an uncomfortable way, so I would not size up. My usual size is xs for tna bike shorts. As other reviews mentioned, there is some rolling of the fabric underneath the wasitband at the back. The front slightly rides up while walking - however not a big issue since for me since it still gives me enough coverage. For reference i am 4’11” and 106 lbs, waist 25-26.

Good length for anyone whose short/ shorter legs. Though the back does ride up a lot, so you’ll have to continually pull it down.

I absolutely cannot wait to wear this this summer! I got it in black and can go with so many different outfits. Only down side is the minor rolling of the fabric below the band in the front and back, but other than that it's a must have! I haven't had any problems with the stitching and material feels very high quality!

I read other reviews mentioned wrinkles and this falling apart but mine feels very well made and quality. I bought the Ivy League Green and love it so much I think I'll buy more colors. It's more high waisted than the Rally skirt which is great for matching with a crop top without exposing my belly button. I'm 125-130lbs and went with a S and it fits me like a glove. Can't wait to play tennis in it!

As I was pulling the skirt up, the entire stitching along the banding fell apart. It fit perfectly maybe slightly tigheter, but the quality is absolute shit. I'll have to exchange it for a better one.

XXS fit my waist but was too short completely exposing the shorts. XS and S fit length wise but were large on my waist. The fabric also creases by the band on all sizes. Despite these issues I love the style and got the XS. I hope they alter the skirt for next season, I would love to buy more if they fit better.

Sadly this skirt was terrible for me. I’m 150 pounds but very lean, this skirt was incredibly short to the point it just made me look bulging out. I tried a size up but the issue is the length. Given it a micro skirt it’s expected that way but the shorts ended up being longer than the skirt coverage. I wear skirts for golf and work and this was a huge no. If you’re maybe 5’2 and SUPER skinny could be for you.

I love this skirt, it's short but the built in shorts match the skirt color and I don't mind if they get shown by a breeze or something. I have this skirt in the natural green and brown (no longer available). The thick waist band is so comfy, I'm tall so the shortness is pretty noticeable but not any more so than wearing short shorts. Was a great staple on a recent backpacking trip.

I wanted to love this skirt so badly, but it was just too short. I’m 5’7, size 6/8 bottoms, athletic build, and I ordered a size M. It fit fine but it doesn’t cover a bigger bum/thighs :(

Really cute skirt! Short but that was expected. The waist is a little loose on me. I have a 25-26 inch waist so I'm in between sizes but I chose the bigger size because I'm a bit curvy. For reference I'm 5'4 and 115lbs.

Rides up as you walk a lot and exposes literally everything.

Quality is great, and it pairs well with so many other clothes. One odd thing is the way it’s sewed near the top beneath the waistband. It’s got a weird bump/fold and the front and back? Not too noticeable tho

I figured this skirt would be short such as the other skirts from aritzia but this one is so bad that it doesn’t cover my butt fully. other then that it’s nice i would recommend sizing up

I am a tennis player and was really excited about this skirt, so I bought it in white and brown. They are both great as far as length and fit (if you like very short skirts), but the undershorts of the white skirt are extremely shear. I can definitely play tennis in the brown skirt as the shorts are opaque enough, but the white one I think could only be worn leisurely. Regardless, they are very cute and I will definitely be keeping them.

This is both cute and functional with two side pockets. The shorts underneath make me feel secure without riding up at all. I’m 5’2 and the skirt hits me right at my waist. I love that it’s a straight skirt that I find more flattering than the pleated type.

I bought the black and brown. Love the shorts underneath. High waisted, probably 11"+ rise. Very stretchy material.
